We came as group from Gate1, everyone wanted to try Mrs Ferg Burger since tour guide mentioned that the burger was on Lonely Planet. It was very popular with long line and there were not many seating so we took it back to eat it at hotel. The burger tasted very good and delicious, lived up to its reputation. There are also other interesting choices on the menu: lamb burgers, deer burgers.

A spectacle of a hamburger,enormous and beautiful paired with a staff that handles the challenge of perpetual lines of people cuing up to order food with amazing performance. I ordered the double Fergburger with double cheese, brie, and onion rings. The onion rings were freshly made and just amazing, crunchy, hot, with a sweet onion completing the taste. The burger was very good and the Brie an unusual option. My only gripe is the burger patty could use a higher fat ratio 20% or more to make it more juicy and flavorful. Fat is flavor as the say.

Definitely overhyped though. I had so many people telling me I have not lived until I ate at this place when I came to town. I had mine without onions and aoli so maybe that is game changing. What I did like though was that the patty was nicely seasoned with pepper, the bread was more like a roll/loaf and was nicely toasted and the pickles had a slight vinegar taste or at least that's what I took away. Line and wait wasn't bad either, but it was a local holiday so maybe less people. Not sure
The burger was awesome.
The line was not the greatest but the food was worth the wait. The restaurant was very organized. Strongly recommend the hamburger and my wife a a chicken burger that was great also.

Fantastic breakfast, eggs bennie on a croissant is a first for me and it turned out amazing, ill be back next week for more!

Had a wonderful evening here. Decided to pop by for some drinks after dinner. The ambience was great and the staff were professional and friendly. Unfortunately, I went with 4 dashes of tobacco for my Bloody Mary and found it far too spicy for my liking. I wonder how some people manage with 10 dashes. Next time I pop by here I will prob just go for two dashes!
Can't say I get the hype.
Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I got the Codfather and my husband got Sweet Bambi. Mine tasted kinda fishy and soggy. The venison burger was flavorful, but soggy and just tasted a little too over-the-top with all the sauces for me. The wait was about 20 minutes for our burgers and fries.Portions are big and there is a lot of different stuff to choose from, like wines, shakes, and vegetarian options, so that's a plus.Maybe I'm spoiled by American burgers and fries!

Walking into the bar after a hearty burger meal next door was the best decision We made this evening. The ambience at tej bar was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Probably the best bar in the whole of New Zealand. I would recommend it on a Heartbeat to anyone. Actually it should be on the top 10th I had to do in Queenstown.

Love this bar. Cocktails are great, staff so polite and friendly. 8 of us for pre cocktails before a birthday dinner. Really appreciated the nice touch of complimentary nibbles Great place to meet friends. Great expresso martinis, will be back
Excellent service, food and cocktails
We went to Ferg's bar before and after our Milford/Routeburn hike. The staff are outstanding and the young man who looks like Daniel Radcliffe was very professional and friendly. The margaritas were excellent. I highly recommend the blue cod tacos. Really nice sitting at the open window looking out over the street. One of the best bars I've been to in the world.

We were out our first night in search of a restaurant, but kept seeing people sitting on benches chowing down on some great looking burgers! Taking it as a sign, we decided to try it out. In between bites, they gave us directions to Fergburger and told us to look out for the line of people.On the menu, they offer burgers made with New Zealand prime beef as well as lamb, chicken, pork, fish, and vegetarian variations. They also offer a venison option made with Wild Fiordland deer. Since it was my first time, I went with the classic Fergburger with cheddar. The hearty burger is served with lettuce, tomato, red onion, aioli, and tomato relish. The burger was delicious and as a fan of ketchup, I enjoyed the tomato relish. Even if the line is long, it goes by fast to order. The real wait time is for your burger, but there is a lot nearby like a visit to Ferg's Bar to keep you busy. Highly recommend!
Great spot for a few drinks
Great cocktails and wide selection of whiskeys! Unfortunately the kitchen closed early but we doubled down on drinks :)
This is my first meal in New Zealand and it was great.
I wasn't expecting much since I figured this place would be mostly overhyped. The wait was quite long and there isn't enough seating around the place. We walked around the area for 10 mins after ordering and when we came back our burgers were ready and we ate on a public bench across the street. The Fergburger was great, and I would go again. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had both in quality and quantity. I probably wouldn't be willing to wait more than 30 mins for it, but when we went (3pm weekday) it was perfect (still pretty busy though). My friend also enjoyed the fried tofu burger. I had a piece of her tofu and it was quite good, but you should go into it with the expectation that it will taste like fried tofu not meat. We also got the fries and aioli, which were pretty standard. The burgers were so large we could not even touch the fries after the burgers, so most of them went to waste.
Will start off by saying don't be scared of the line.
We went for lunch and between when we got into line and we left after eating our burger at Fergburger, it only took about an hour. They run very efficient and the line will move quickly.I got the falafel burger and my wife got the cock Cajun. The falafel burger was very good, but I'd suggest getting an extra sauce to eat it with. My wife said the cock Cajun was the best chicken burger she's ever had. It has very reasonable prices despite the popularity!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
