Amazing experience
Our meal in this restaurant was the highlight of our whole trip to New Zealand. The views were simply superb as the restaurant revolved twice whilst we were dining, The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. This restaurant us not cheap but the expense is well worth it for the experience.

Orbit 360 Orbit 360 is out if this world. I have been to other space needle restaurants around the world and Orbit 360 is by far in the top three. Our server was incredible ! As he was interacting with us he was listening to key words and at the end of the dinner meal he brings us a Special Welcome to New Zealand dessert that was so special !!!! The rest of the meal was fabulous even though the entree menu was small….you can find the exact three course meal with no problem ! Was presented in stunning fashion and the food tasted out of this world! Would recommend to anyone that wants a unique experience ! Very special view of Auckland and New Zealand !!!

Can't beat the views at the top of the tower. The food is very nice and well presented. My only concern was the service. 20 minutes to place a food order and a further 20 mins wait for the drinks to arrive. Can do better Orbit!!
A memorable end to our holiday in NZ
Despite being a potential tourist trap, the Orbit serves quality food that is worth the money even at street level. Service was excellent, although they weren’t too busy. It was a memorable end to our five weeks in NZ. We found the service culture on both islands excellent and here was no different. I advise booking an hour before sunset to allow you to see the view in daylight at night and the sunset itself. Go up to the observation decks beforehand (separate ticket) but allow enough time to get to the restaurant. You are not allowed to go directly from floor 51 (viewing deck) to floor 52 (restaurant). You must return to the ground floor and book in for the Orbit there. This took us 20 minutes and we were nearly late.
Excellent view. Service was great. Our waiter David was very pleasant, personable, friendly. I’d ask for him again.

Nice dinner with great views of the city
Restaurant has set menu. Good variety for 3 course meals. Visiting aukland gave a good stsrt of trip to view the city. Good service and friendly staff
Could have easily been a 5 with better service.
Food here was pretty good and the views are excellent, but even during what appeared to be a not very busy time, we had pretty mediocre service. Long waits for water, items being missed from our order, long waits between courses with no follow up from server... just not the kind of service you'd expect from a place like this.
A must do experience in Auckland
If you visit Auckland this for me is a must do night out so long as you are ok with the height. The 3 course dinning experience is excellent and you get to see all over Auckland as the restaurant slowly rotates. I prefer early evening while it is still light to soak up the views. Having dinner also saves the cost of a separate trip to see those same views. A little expensive but a good meal and there are not many places where you can get this experience.
Sky high dinning
Had dinner here while visiting Auckland and was extremely impressed with the experience. Upgraded ticket to include sky tower pass and that was good. The food that was served was not only of first class taste but the presentation was brilliant. The staff were very attentive and our waiter was excellent. The experience was well worth it and would definitely recommend.

A 'must' for me when visiting Auckland.
I see that some have had a negative experience here but, for me, it was great fun. The food is of a good standard but don't expect Haute Cuisine. The menu is minimal and set, not extravagant or flamboyant. Our meal was really nice, our service good but not exceptional. However, if you want Haute Cuisine then go to one of several such restaurants in Auckland. What you go to Orbit 360 for is the express lift to that constantly changing view and that certainly doesn't disappoint! Ask for a table next to the window if you are happy to be at height and look down as well as out, or on the inner, slightly raised, ring of tables if you are a bit wary if heights. A fabulous experience and one to be recommended early in your Auckland visit so you can get an idea of the 'lay of the land'. Of course you can just go to the viewing area and bar but I certainly enjoyed my meal and sitting down to enjoy the ever revolving view.
Book well ahead - a must do in Auckland
WOW - what an experience. Stunning views if a bit scary as I’m not very good at heights. The food was extremely good and high quality, beautifully presented and not served at a rush. Our waiter - Bevan was attentive and friendly without being overwhelming. Very impressed with him and answered all our questions knowledgeably. The ever changing views and being there at sunset was very special.

Went with low expectations except for the view, but everything was brilliant. Good food, good service, wonderful views and a great experience. Really good value considering the discount to the observation deck. Wonderful start to the holiday
Scenic and Delicious Orbit 360 Restaurant at Auckland Sky Tower
The views from the Sky Tower Auckland Orbit 360 restaurant are very scenic. It’s a fixed menu with lots of delicious food so come hungry or you will regret it. The dessert simbe particular were very impressive.

On our last night in Auckland, we went to Orbit for another "fancy" dinner. At $95NZ per person (it's now $109 to $119 per person, per the website), it was a lot, but that price included a starter, a main course, and a desert. We ordered the salmon tortellini and pork belly for the starter, salmon and beef for the main, and lemon orchard and keke tiakarete for dessert. The food was alright, but nothing that stood out, and at $95, you expect the food to stand out. In summary: mediocre food, expensive drinks, and high prices. 2.5 stars. Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
