Let’s be honest. You are dining here for the view. We were here on a very clear evening and thus had a stunning view of Auckland, the Hauraki Gulf, the Coromandel Peninsula, the Waitemata Harbour and the islands. Stupendous view. Couldn’t fault it. As we went past a person also slipped down the drop line. Amazing. The fixed price menu offers a good range of options with your choice of two courses. It is more expensive to dine here on Friday, Saturday nights so if you have a choice opt for the cheaper nights, the food is just the same. The staff are friendly and helpful but not very fast. Buy a drink at the bar before going to your table as anything you order will take time to appear. The dishes are as advertised and are well presented and flavoured but they aren’t stupendous but remember you’re not here for the food. You are paying for the view. Book your table online but don’t be surprised if any notification you give for a special celebration is forgotten. Your restaurant booking allows you to enter through a different queue and covers parking too.
Awesome way to end my trip to New Zealand
An amazing way to view the city from above. The food was amazing, the staff were super friendly and professional. The set menu was so delicious! Highly recommend!
Delighted 3 Course dinner!
Wow! Everything we had from drinks to dessert was awesome! The Scallop appetiser and the Crab Salad appetiser were Devine. The Venison Medallions and the salmon main course were both amazing! Then there was dessert and drinks! Very nice, good food good drinks and good wine! Highly recommend this place! Our serverToiana was helpful, attentive and fun! Kudos ORBIT 360, you’ve got it all!
Outstanding food service and view
The food and service on the night were faultless. We had a lovely meal and were well attended to and unhurried. The views are amazing The booking system is very impersonal. I had a lot of difficulty confirming my reservation 48 hours beforehand as I could not send a text and was worried it would be cancelled. I had to send several emails when I had wifi available before I received a reply. We were traveling from abroad and were on a flight.part of the time. The actual restaurant was a delight.

Proper dining experience
One you're only in Auckland for an evening, and you feel like spending a bit extra to have a proper meal, Orbit should be the place to go. The views are excellent and the food matches the view. Unexpectedly, the Orchard Apricot is one of the best desserts I ever had in my life.
Amazing view and good quality food
Great way to see Auckland with high quality food and drinks. Limited options but vegan and vegetarians have at least one option per course. Must be booked in advance and be prepared for a maze of escalators to find reception and the fast elevator up there.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal last night, our last in New Zealand Amazing views, well presented & perfectly cooked food. Would not recommend the coffee unless you like it very very very strong! Would definitely recommend a meal here as a highlight of your visit to Auckland
Very expensive for smaller appetites
Ok - the positives. You cannot beat the location. And a trip up to the viewing floors is included in your booking. Add $15 and do the virtual reality Sky Slide- brilliant! And the negatives. It's very, very expensive if, like my husband, you have a small appetite. There's no a la carte (there always used to be) - just a set three course meal for $95 or $109 on a Friday or Saturday. So he paid $109 for half a starter and a small piece of chocolate cake. We asked if there were an option for smaller appetites and the answer was no, so unfortunately we won't be taking future guests back there :-(
Great quality, great view
Everything went on wheels. Booked 6 weeks in advance as we only had 1 night in Auckland. Was contacted 3 days prior to confirm the booking. Elevator trip is awesome, part of the walls are glass-made so you can appreciate the rise. Dinner is set menu from which you choose one appetizer, 1 main and 1 dessert. Andrea was our server and she was so nice! We tried the scallops, beef fillet and hazelnut chocolate. All were superb, steaks done exactly to the point we ordered. Shout-out for the apricot dessert, described by a friend as "the best dessert in my life".

Wow, great food, wonderful service and an outstanding views over the city from 300m up! We were celebrating our 60th birthdays and the service was outstanding, friendly, efficient but never rushed.

Website totally lacks this info, we arrived at 3:30 to try and spend time before dinner with our 2 children. We arrived to find we could not go up and further the doors toOrbit were locked. At 4:30 they open the doors, only to say that last access is for observation 5:30, that it's over booked / crowded and we couldn't go to observation. BUT for some reason .... if we paid more to buy separate tickets, even though our dinner is $100 a plate, that was sufficient and magically then we could go to observation, told us to then pay FULL price, no discount at all offered. Website gives no info on when to arrive, that you can't get access, observation and that it's going to be overcrowded at that time, and that the That it will be closed to give any help or info if you arrive early. Really poor communication, all the managers were magically not available to speak further at all and posting this so others can realize / not make pretty reasonable assumptions. Sad experience. Do not recommend for this price and lack of service / any info.

We made reservations almost six months ago for a special table as we are celebrating my husbands birthday. The restaurant revolves over Auckland from the 52nd floor with unforgettable views and exceptional food and wine to match! It takes an hour to go around once.They acknowledged his birthday & had a window table for us. We started with a bottle of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and ordered from the prix fix menu. I started with the scallops, ordered venison and the exotic dessert a pavlova filled with mango. My husband ordered the crab salad with avocado & mango, the venison and the hazelnut & praline chocolate cream it was wonderful. He was surprised with a treat for dessert. Service was exceptional, Caroline took good care of us. The view is epic and our meal delicious.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
