Staff as equally as amazing as venue
From the moment we walked in the service was impeccable. Food and drink quality was fantastic. We were very lucky to be served by the lovely George. Extremely warm and welcoming. Brought a sense of humour to our evening and made our night. Great guy - great restaurant.
The best food, service and location in Dubai so far.
Absolutely fantastic meal and wonderful service. We had the Saganaki prawns, octopus, squid, lobster orzo and chicken orzo. Every dish was superb!! Our waitress Alexandra was so lovely and polite, knowledgeable about the food and local area, and made our evening even more special. She made it so special that we have actually cancelled another reservation on our trip to be able to return to this beautiful restaurant, on a day that she is working. Huge thank you to Alexandra for being so fabulous.
Best beach restaurant in the UAE
Fossil , Maria , Lloyd and Alex looked after us wonderfully We visited most days for lunch and the service was second to none. It’s easily the best beach bar in Dubai due to its great position on the beach and excellent service. A must do if visiting Dubai
The best sunset spot in Dubai
Amazing spot for sunset! I always come for artichoke salad and lobster risotto. The best ambience. Feel like south of France
Shimmers food not good
Went tonight location really good but food shocking also staying half board in hotel but had to pay 180 dirham supplement per adult which is not to bad then to be told you can only order certain things off menu was shocking then onto the food starters came out cold but also they brought the sides out with starters and we was told that we asked for it to come out this way which we never then onto the mains chicken like rubber and sea bass well over cooked will never eat in here again plus also the half board situation in hotel is an absolute rip off in my eyes and would never pay for this option again totally not worth it also drinks absolutely over priced going down in my estimation now used to be the best resort by far but a total rip off now
Lovely Eda hanım who made the experience unforgettable
Lovely view and great service, it was my first time there but Eda hanım made me feel home. Everything that she recommended was out of this world 😍. Eda hanım was extremely sweet and 100% present we were lucky to have her look after us! All dishes were delicious, ambiance 💯. Would go there every time without a doubt. Girls at the entry a bit rough, their energy wasn’t right ( the Spanish ones) I think the energy at the entry should be soft and calming, just like all the waitresses inside the restaurant 🙏🏽
Lovely couples dinner..
Went last weekend and we had a lovely time. Karla was fab as always (we know her from Tortuga) was so nice to see her again. She made us and our friends felt very welcomed and looked after. We all will be back for sure.

Relaxing Dinner
We always visit Shimmers in Dubai. Food was lovely and it’s a prime location to see the burj in all its splendour. Tables on the beach aren’t as formally set but give best views.
Amazing location and food to match
Sometimes you go to an iconic location and realize that the price you are paying is all about the view but the food does not match. Shimmers had absolutely delicious food and inventive cocktails on the beach, music is pumping so request a table far from the speakers if you want to have conversation. Amazing service, very quick and responsive.
Perfect evening beach chill and great food
Great beach location and offering classy but chilled beach venue for dinner. Quality Greek food served swiftly but not rushed. Friendly staff who made you feel welcome - none of that fake pretence just good people. Wine list includes some reasonably (for Dubai) priced options. Would definitely come back next time passing through Dubai.

The setting was really nice, we came for the sunset which was lovely. Food was good. Special mention to our lovely buggy driver Sayedur, he was very friendly and polite and chatty!
Location location location, backed up with service
Shimmers has a stunning location, but backs up with service of a equal quality , a simple Greek inspired menu , meat balls are the best , with a good wine menu , a solid favourite when in Dubai

Great food. The service was excellent. I was attended by a moroccan waiter named simohammed. He was so firendly and professional. Will definitely come back again
Lunch at Shimmer's
Great location, high quality food and service. Loved the saganaki, moussaka and octopus salad. Outstanding tuna carpaccio, baked sea bass and lobster orzo. Cannot wait to be back. A special thank to Chef Emanuele for his special dish pasta con le sarde.
NOISY MUSIC AND POOR AMBIANCE
Food was nice, but oh my god how strong & noisy the music was… no comment. I couldn’t even talk properly to the people seating around me. For the people looking for a classy / peaceful place, I have one thing to say : AVOID AT ALL COST. Come on , I could have traveled to Ibiza or Mykonos if I wanted to savagely rave / assault my ears… I hope they will consider this review and make some changes, because ambiance was terrible, I felt like I was standing at a tomorrow land venue…

This is one of the very few "right on the beach" 🏖️ outlets of Dubai serving Greek cuisine. It's inside the Mina A' Salam hotel of the Madinat Jumeirah. They have an all outside seating area divided into on the sand and then on the shack. They serve very traditional and very close to authentic Greek. We ordered the Hummus and Pita 🫓, Grilled Chicken 🍗, and Salads. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and excellent! Try and avoid the weekends as it is extremely crowded. Prior reservation is recommended

Great restaurant with a nice view and tasty food. The hostess were kind, atmosphere was amazing and would definitely come back.
Excellent restaurant with great view of Burj Al Arab
I came here at 12.30 am for a lunch with my sister. The kind and polite hostess gave us very nice table and we enjoyed our view and the food. The cocktails are awesome, and the dessert was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, just book online in advance your table. If you want to reach this restaurant, you need to go to the Hotel Al Naseem Madinat Jumeriah, to their lobby and from there they can drive you with buggy to the restaurant. The prices of the food are not that high compared to the other regular shopping mall restaurants. The location of this restaurant is amazing, its right in the beach and its worth every penny. I am surprised that the prices are not a way higher. I would definitely come back.
Birthday meal
I attended Shimmers for my birthday dinner and can say they gave the best experiance i could have asked for.. the F & B Manager Nicolas went above and beyond for us and accomdated us exceptionally with exemplary service.. I would certainly recommend having your birthday here.. 5 star treatment

Shimmers Dubai is a very beautiful place, with an amazing view, great food, perfect service!!! We love being at Shimmers! THIS YEAR we got to Shimmers during Ejaz Ahamed’s play, he is a DJ who made this restaurant even more special with great collection of mixed songs, I shazamed almost everything he played, he added a vibe to this place, so we really enjoyed it! Thank you Shimmers, thank you Ejaz for these great emotions and memories! We’ll come back soon☺️

AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with Shimmers دبي. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Shimmers دبي at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Shimmers دبي page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ImmortalStep65, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ImmortalStep65 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ImmortalStep65 for any questions Peter may have as ImmortalStep65 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at Shimmers دبي to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ImmortalStep65 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ImmortalStep65's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Shimmers دبي!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
