75 Main Southampton Reviews from The Last Year
Food was good and coffee was good.
Service was horrendous I had to ask 3 different people for hot sauce. By the time I got it I was almost done with my food. The ambiance was okay. And the servers aren't the best. We were sitting for a decent bit before we got help.
1 star for food and an extra star for friendly service.
Went here for lunch today. I ordered Fusiloni alla Vodka Telefono. There wasn't even a hint of pancetta in the dish even though it said on the menu it is part of it. It apparently was replaced by an abundance of pepper. I guess they do that so a server doesn't have to offer service from a pepper mill. The mozzarella in the dish was a semi-melted blob underneath the pasta. The other person with me had a burger with fries etc and said it was, "okay." Prices are higher than what you see online but i didn't downgrade them because of that since the menu i found was not posted by the restaurant. I would not return.
When I come to Southampton, I love to go to this restaurant.
Meals are delicious when I was there I enjoyed a green salad with seared fresh Tuna over it. The tuna was made with perfection, medium rare, which I like, and the salad had a lovely vinaigrette on it yummy for the tummy. The dessert was delicious apple. Tarte with berries yes it's called a party in mouth shhhhh The people who work here are lovely they very accommodating to customers
Went for the price fix menu and was absolutely thrilled.
The food was top notch, served beautifully, and very good size portions (so many restaurants cut corners with a price fix and this was not the case at 75 Main) The Christmas decorations are just gorgeous. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Zach & staff!
If I could give this place zero stars I would.
This restaurant was completely empty last night when my wife and I arrived at 6:00. We went there because they advertised a happy hour til 7 pm, a lobster special on Fridays and a 3 course prix fix Sunday through Friday night. I attach the ad that was running in the Dan's paper 2 weeks in a row. When we got there we were met with attitude from the hostess who said the happy hour was over at 6 when we walked in. The owner Zac was playing on his phone in a booth and when we pointed out the ad, he said it's til 7 pm. We sat at the bar of this empty place and I asked about the prix fixed menu. The hostess replied they only have the lobster and not the 3 course meal tonight. There is a difference between the Friday lobster special on one side of the ad and a prix fixed on the other side.Again I pointed out the ad, and they didn't care. So much for standing behind your ad. Zac was still playing on his phone. If they were honorable I would have gone there throughout the winter. They lost a lot of money on their poor decisions. I don't need to give them my business. We went somewhere else and spend our money on dinner.

75 Main is a very trendy well known restaurant in Southampton. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and has a very light breezy feel to it. The chairs are trendy, the seats are nice, you feel like you're in another country. I started with the Caesar salad which was good, it could have used more dressing, so ask for extra on the side. It was a good salad to start, and could be big enough to share if you would only like a small portion. I ordered the crispy black bass. The fish is whole, and I don't like seeing the head or tail so asked for it to be removed. The presentation is nice, the fish is on the plate and its sitting on white rice surrounded by sautéed veggies and some broccoli and green beans. The broccoli was seasoned really good. The only issue with the fish because its whole is that you have to debone it yourself. Im no expert at this, so unfortunately I did swallow a few bones, and one felt as though it was stuck in my throat for 2 days after. I looked up a few solutions on how to get it out and I think I was successful, so just be really careful when eating. They don't offer an option to debone the fish for you after its cooked. Everything is usually very good at this restaurant, so I wouldn't be too concerned with what is selected from the menu. :)

Went for brunch today, service was ok, my friend got a chipped cup for his tea and 2 other friends had small forks to eat. My super bowl salad had tiny amount of quinoa and too much greens. I know they can do better than this.
Place is beautiful to look at.
Very nice and vibrant. The staff was nice, but the service wasn't anything special. The food we ordered was good, the fried chicken sandwich and avocado toast were tasty, and a good portion. The drinks are more expensive than almost any place in Manhattan, and were made poorly. Sad to say that I didn't enjoy my two $22 drinks at all. I'd probably come back but I'm not rushing either.
Always always a stable place in the Hamptons.
The seared tuna is perfection & is amazing better than the crap they serve at Sunset beach on shelter island.
Worst service you could ever imagine.
Food is average at best & the place is perpetually overcrowded because despite all this it is a popular restaurant presumably because of the show & it's location.

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
