Absolutely magical!
A fantastic restaurant experience in every way. Loved the subdued lighting and decor. The staff were relaxed and super professional. Food, crockery, service, everything was top notch!
Be the first to ReplyTop vegetarian menu!
Lovely food and exciting dishes, consistently good service and good introductions of the food, lots of cool music on the loudspeaker all evening, good atmosphere in the room, not too stiff, and a superb vegetarian menu for some of us. Slightly disappointing drinks package / wine menu - so we recommend that you consider an upgrade. Furthermore, we were 7 people and were placed on two tables. This put a dampener on our experience, and could have been prepared in a better way in advance when ordering. Then you would have been better prepared that not everyone in our group could talk to each other. But it's probably a general problem at star restaurants that you shouldn't be more than 4 together. A little slack service throughout the meal, with a lack of introduction of wines, and a somewhat long time before we could finish. But overall, perhaps the dessert was the best... :) - and the vegetarian dishes!

I rate my dinner in Adam/Albin the best and the most enjoyable dining experience of my 1-week trip to Stockholm after trying 5 Michelin starred restaurants (1, 2 and 3 stars) in the city. The testing menu comprised many courses. Each course was made with top notch seasonal ingredients, accurately executed, beautifully presented and highly delicious. The following dishes were particularly memorable: - squid and lardo kushiyaki - green pea chawanmushi (so much better than the chawanmushi which I’d in Frantzen the night before) - langoustine cooked mi-cuit (the best dish of the night) - beef, cheese and truffle Japanese milk bread. The service was as smooth as silk from the moment I stepped into the restaurant to the moment I left. All the staff were professional, cheerful, knowledgeable and introduced clearly to me every food item. I didn’t have the wine pairing since I’d too much alcohol in Frantzen the night before. Instead I ordered a glass of white and a glass of red.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent cooking of brilliant food.
Absolutely excellent from start to finish. From as soon I rang the doorbell to enter, the brilliant staff looked after me, dining alone, superbly well. And it was the way the whole evening, which lasted around 3 hours, flowed which made the evening brilliant. I was seated at the ‘chefs table’ so I could see the action and brilliant food kept coming accompanied by water exactly when needed, cutlery appeared almost unnoticed, napkins and table mats appeared as if by magic. The 5 waiters and 5 chefs worked seamlessly, explaining and finishing each dish at the table. The food was excellent, cooking was on-point, flavour combinations just worked although for me the SWEET PEA CHAWANMUSHI didn’t quite hit the mark - the textures and saltiness weren’t quite right. But, when everything else was that good I’m very happy to accept I’m probably wrong on that. I went for the Premium wine pairing option which included a Ch Du Tertre (Margaux) 1998 and a 1997 Ch de Fargues Sauternes. What I especially liked what that the food stood out for itself, no fancy pants show, no ridiculous crockery, just top quality produce and cooking. Cheap?. No Worth it? Yes .
Be the first to ReplyAdam and Albin: A Gastronomic Experience of Exceptional Food, Service and Atmosphere" the best in Sweden 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Adam and Albin delivered an unforgettable experience! From impressive starters to delicious main courses, the chefs created a symphony of flavours. The staff were professional and friendly, which lifted the atmosphere. The restaurant is definitely a must for all food lovers. The only question is if this restaurant does not have more than "only" one Michelin star, it should definitely have 2. This is definitely the best restaurant in Sweden.

What an experience. A small restaurant but outstanding food and service. Sure it’s expensive but you soon forget the cost as it’s a set menu and worth every penny. Staff talk you through the dishes and every one was a taste sensation . Table seared Wagu gave a bit of theatre to add to the occasion. There is quite a choice in Stockholm but this is a must - just blow the budget and enjoy

No description is really needed. The food is top notch and the staff is exceptional. More visits are promised.
Be the first to ReplyWow!
We have been very fortunate to eat at some wonderful restaurants but this one is the best so far…from the moment we walked in to be personally greeted, to the food, wine and even the play list, everything was perfect. As noted in some of the other reviews, the staff however make the experience…incredibly professional but personable and relaxed at the same time. A great place to celebrate my husband’s special birthday - thank you 😊
Be the first to ReplyThe staff alone make it worth a visit!
Of course the food and wine were great - as one would expect from an expensive, Michelin Star restaurant. We enjoyed varied and interesting dishes, well prepared and well presented, and the wine pairings were great. All served in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. What really made it special for me however was the warmth and enthusiasm of the staff.
Be the first to ReplyA fantastic dining experience!
The restaurant is located in Vasastan not far from Odengatan where you can take a bus or subway. From the outside, you hardly see that they are a restaurant, but when you ring the bell and the staff open, it's like entering another world. The venue is nice, fresh and there are not many seats, we sat at the stone table facing the kitchen and got to see how the food was prepared and delivered to the tables and us. An experience beyond the ordinary, the staff are absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. The food is perfect and was so good, I tried things I wouldn't otherwise eat but here every dish was like a work of art. Together with the wine package, they became one of the best dining experiences of my life! If you like food, this place is a must visit, well worth the money.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Asian-inspired food & the best Sommelier in town
The restaurant itself is a large open plan space which is light & tastefully decorated. We were seated next to each other on a large island, facing a large window into the kitchen which was great as we could really see what was going on. I don't know if we got lucky or they are usually there but Adam and Albin were both in the restaurant serving and managing the kitchen, which really added to our experience. The service is attentive, friendly & relaxed and it really feels like you can have fun with the staff... even when Callum decided to pick up his plate and drink the sauce, the waitress joked with us about it and said she encouraged it.
This place does not have a Michelin star but it cannot be far off; the food is exquisite from start to finish, from the delicate appetizers to the rich and flavoursome main dishes, to the perfectly balanced light desserts and the post-dinner sweets. One of our first courses was the Chawanushi (fancy lobster & saffron soup) which was decadently rich and creamy & set the tone for the remainder of the evening. Most of the dishes were simple, high quality ingredients combined brilliantly like the butter poached green onions, scallops & chicken. However, there were also a couple of unusual curveballs to keep things interesting – firstly, the beef tartar / yellow beets on toast which was like a forest in a tart, full of the freshness of the vegetables & the tang of the pickle. And secondly, an Artichoke Tatin with apples & crème crue which was as delicious as any dessert we’ve had but was served before the fish course – unusual but it actually worked!
One of the unexpected highlights was the wine pairing; although we like wine, we are by no means experts and sometimes it can feel like you could be told anything and you would be none the wiser. This was something different - the head sommelier, Wine Director Sören, was by far the best we have experienced in Stockholm. His knowledge and passion was very clearly reflected in the choice of wines and the way he spoke about them. He served up an unconventional selection of pairings including a 1998 Chardonnay, a rare Hungarian white & a cold red where a white might have been the standard choice. His explanations were interesting & captivating versus the usual slightly scripted & bland descriptions we find from some sommeliers.
The friendly & attentive service was rounded off at the end of the 4hr experience when were informed their “top tip” was a shot of Gammal Dansk to help the digestif system – whilst it was fun to banter with the staff at the end, the shot was as disgusting as we could vaguely remember from our SpyBar days which are now long gone. Whilst it was a fantastic experience, the price is quite steep, especially when you consider you can eat a Michelin Star restaurant for 75% of the price at Agrikultur for example…although we did have more courses and we would probably consider the experience here to be slightly better & therefore reflected in the price.
Best restaurant in Stockholm!
Best restaurant in Stockholm, third time for us here and we were as always very impressed. The service was just amazing service and gives you a warm atmosphere. The food here is the best you can get in Stockholm, no question, if there is one restaurant we recommend to eat at its here. You can tell the food is carefully and well prepared, the flavors goes so well together. We love Japanese food so this fusion of it is just perfect.
