Deligthful evening
As guests in the hotel, we wanted to have dinner at Aninoo's our first night. It did not disappoint. The entire staff were attentive and professional. A special thank you to the sommelier (the gentleman who assisted us in selecting our wine). We enjoyed a perfect bottle of wine for the dishes that both my wife and I ordered. The food was not only delicious, but a work of art. It was a memorable night, well worth the expense for a special meal, and the view is unparalelled.

An amazing experience. And not only once but twice. Having spent a long week end in Venice, this was by far our best meal. A special Grazie to Matteo and Manuele for their passion and kindness.

We ate all our meals at the hotel restaurant during our short stay and without exception, all the meals were equally delicious. The staff were very attentive to our particular requirements (my husband and I are both picky eaters) so unusually we never had to send a dish back or re-order for any reason. Probably the best restaurant we've eaten at in all of our many trips around the world with first class, friendly and accommodating service. 10/10
Be the first to ReplyNice place and view, food is terrible
The place is very nice, the view on the grand canal from the terrace is stunning. A few minor details might hint that the place needs tighter supervision / a bit of investment (broken locks on toilet doors for instance).
Staff is very nice. Style is a bit relaxed, but we had great laughs so all in all that's positive.
Food is honestly a rip off. You'd better eat in a small joint outside for a quarter of the price.
So my advise, if you care about food quality, go there for a drink before heading somewhere else for dinner.
A good choice for a romantic dinner
An unbeatable setting looking out on the Grand Canal. Very nice food and impeccable service, but unless you are staying at the hotel and can't be bothered going out, beware - luxury hotel prices, rather than equivalent restaurant prices.
Be the first to ReplyTop location for a romantic dinner, food good but not over the top.
This restaurant is located in a very stylish Hotel and has an all-white modern decor inside and 2-3 tables outside on a balcony overlooking the Canal. Sitting outside is very romantic and special. The food is of good quality, especially seafood like tuna carpaccio (with a harshโyโ Wasabi-Mayonnaise) and grilled langoustines (paired with a plate of grilled very dry and not-at all seasoned vegetables). No new ideas/tastes/ forms of presentation, which is what I expect to get in a high level restaurant. Otherwise I could have cooked on my own. Therefore: As nearly all Venice restaurants not on a top level compared to restaurants elsewhere in the world.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic setting and service is let down by uninspired kitchen
The view is spectacular from the terrace, the decor is elegant but the meal was not up to the same standard.
Appetizer was rather bland - mashed potato, breadcrumbs and salmon roe did not taste of much. The squid pasta tasted very much like the ocean without a higher meaning, and the pork chop was unremarkable to the point of being bland.
Tuna tartare was, however, very good and perfectly to taste.
Sommelier and service was charming and accommodating, but the most expensive meal I had in Venice will not be remembered as the best food.
