As someone who works as a concierge at a hotel and a part time server in the neighborhood I came in to get some food togo and I felt scolded by the Server. As I have in the past ordered my pasta and left. I sent an email and never received a reply still perplexed. I have had great food here in the past wanted more but based on the lack of response or seeming to not care I may not come back. Here is the email I sent September 25th.
I stopped by yesterday to order some food to go. I work as a concierge at a hotel during the day and a server at a restaurant on the hill at night. I was in between jobs and wanted to grab some pasta to go. I was told that you would not be able to do this. I was confused to as to why? I was not asking for happy hour to go. I simply wanted to order pasta to go so I could eat something different that the food my restaurant offers. It was also the tone in which she told me this. I felt scolded for ordering pasta to go in the past. I was told that she spoke to the manager about this after my last purchase and you wont do to go orders. I left feeling as though I had done something wrong when all I wanted was some food. Also noted I was the only person in the Restaurant as it was 5:05 pm. Just would like some clarification.
