Excellent time at Astoria! Some of the best food I have had in DC in my 5+ years here. Service could be improved but the food and cocktail quality makes up for it. Absolutely incredible!
Mmm mmm mm.
Tasty. Went here with my partner and I said it was an anniversary. Got free walnut shrimp. Very tasty walnut shrimp. The crabmeat fried rice had 2 pieces of tiny crab though. Still, very tasty. Our waitress and the host staff were kind. There was

Dark reds and browns, very trendy. The Painkiller was delicious! But it is also filled to the brim with ice so has VERY little actual drink. Unfortunately, my friend spilled his full drink and there was so little actual liquid that it didn't ev

Make a reservation! It's very popular and I know why.
This was my second visit here. I went many years ago and the high quality is still there. Very flavorful food. Some spicy, be careful. Cozy atmosphere. We sat in the window counter. Service was good and the staff were nice.
Place was ok.
Food was good, but underwhelming and the service wasn't good. There appeared to be 2 servers and 1 hostess working. Yes it was busy, but All 3 were unfriendly, unfortunately. I arrived and was told there was a wait for a table, with 1 ahead of m
Astoria DC absolutely lived up to the hype -- and then some.
This Michelin-starred gem served up some of the best flavors I've had in a while. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles, chili wontons, and shrimp, and every single dish was a knockout. Bold, perfectly balanced, and packed with that signature Sichuan p

The food was super spicy! The cocktails were delicious so I was chugging them down to beat the heat. We had to wait a bit because we didn't make reservations but the fit us in.
Some really good dishes and some really average dishes.
The honey walnut shrimp was very delicious. The crab fried rice was nice and had some spice to it as well. The other two dishes we got were not rememberable. It took forever for the food to come as well. It wasn't super busy when we arrived bu
Hands down one of the best dining experiences Iโve had in DC with Pull Up Deliveries
If youโre visiting DC and craving incredible Szechuan flavors in a cozy, intimate setting โ this is the spot. The atmosphere feels upscale but relaxed, perfect for a date night or a small group dinner. We loved the chili wontons, scallion lamb, a

I've been hearing about this place for months and finally made it out -- totally worth the hype. From the moment you step in, it's got that dimly lit, chic vibe that feels equal parts romantic and energetic. The decor has that sexy red glow
Big fan of Sichuan.
Mouth was on fire the whole meal. Order the Beef Noodles. Don't share them with anyone. They are too good to share. The chili wontons don't disappoint. Share them. The vibes inside are perfect. The patio is super cute. The bathroom could fi

This is a top 5 restaurant in DC.
The food is consistent , elevated , traditional and modern at the same time. Salt and Pepper eggplant is a special dish. They perfected the crisp on the outside and the flavor of it is so unique. The restaurant is not cheap and it's also not ex

Nothing special
The hostess was really unfriendly, which was almost reason enough to not return. There was nothing special about the drinks. The atmosphere inside is cool. The bartender and waiters were friendly.

Everything is great but you must order the the "DBJ Fish" - it's the last item on the "old menu" ... It's one of their original offerings and you won't find anything like anywhere. It is awesome!

Rude service.
Claims reservations mean small party cannot sit outside. This contradicts their reservations. A shame.
Yes, You Should Eat Here.
Found this place while searching for late night eats near our hotel. Showed up without a reservation and waited about 30 minutes or so. Totally worth it. Despite a little weirdness with the standing room to seating system (or lack thereof), our exper

Ivana and the whole staff were soooo welcoming and hospitable. We got a few rounds of the delicious tacos and a few cocktails, we'll definitely be back!
Astoria used to be my absolute favorite.
I would look forward to it like a kid waiting for Santa. However the quality of the food has dropped significantly and the last two times we had to send food back. For example, the steak chimichurri used to be my absolute favorite. Now it's nearly in

Really good place for casual drinks and food.
Drinks are expensive at $17 each but they are well made. The food is the better deal! Two of us shared the salt and pepper fried eggplant and Dan Dan noodles and it was enough. I cannot rave enough about the salt and pepper fried eggplant - so crispy
My experience here was not so great.
The business literally only had 2/3 things available out of 9-10 things that were listed on the menu. The food was salty. The drinks were average.
absolutely incredible food and vibe.

Food wasn't too authentic, but the flavors were pretty good.
I liked the beef noodles, but I thought that the boiled beef was way too salty, when it should've been more mala-flavored and spicy than salty. Ambiance was sexy-- good for date night. Service was great!

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Astoria DC Washington at 6 PM the same day.
