Ordered delivery, it came quickly and was still hot.
The food was good. The fries were still crunchy and the onion rings weren't soggy at all. The side salad was decent, but nothing too special.The elk burger had great texture, and the toppings were complimentary without being overpowering or making the bun a sopping mess.I miss some of the variety of the menu from years back but I'm happy the quality and unique burgers remain.

Used to go all the time to the one on east 73rd before it closed. This one has not worked so well for me and I think I can no longer support it. I tried one more time. The delivery took hour and half. Everything was cold and soggy on arrival. I tried to eat the burger and it just doesn't taste good at all (besides being soggy and cold). Just not flavorful. (The buns are usually good though). Threw it all away. I'm sad because I have always loved their burgers and menu. But too expensive for the hassle.

Other Bareburgers are great, but this one screwed up my Postmates order in four or five ways (including omitting items I paid for), AND they were late with it.

The burger came completely over cooked like rubber and inedible. When I called and had them send me a new one that was not as overcooked they sent me a raw burger. Even if the burger was cooked properly the meat quality is not good!! Ugh last time I order from them.

Not what it was. Burgers now 2 thin Pattie's. The side salad was wilted and not fresh and this was acknowledged by management. Not planning to return anytime soon.

And not for the first time. It's a Friday night, the website says they close at 11pm, I arrive at 10:20pm, and they say they are closing seating because business is slow, but will do take- out. I was looking forward to sitting for some good organic food tonight, like I've had at the other locations. This is not the first time I have gone there and they closed early, now I remember why I've been avoiding this location. And a friend also remarked to me recently that the takeout service was bad/slow. It's a shame, at this rate this location will close and the workers who are eager to go home early will have no job. Slacking on service during these hard times is no solution. Management needs to either change their hours, or actually manage their staff.

A lot of interesting burger options especially if you are a vegetarian. My daughter always chooses this place for her birthday dinners year after year. The menu is expanding in the right direction. Overall a good place for casual eating

Horrible racist and sexist with micgroaggressions and discrimination towards customers of color by the wait staff, who happen to also be people of color themselves (i.e. Hispanic/Latino men). No A/C on a hot 80 degree day and very dark inside when it's bright and sunny outside, very depressing atmosphere. This was Saturday early afternoon (around noon) in June. The place was nearly empty with the exception of a couple. Most of the tables shook or were unstable, and instead of the waiter asking if there's something he could do, he rudely said "you can see for yourself". I walked right now. I don't recommend this place AT ALL!

I am the most picky diner ever, and I absolutely love it. I've ordered twice on seamless and it came to me perfect each time. I dined in today and the person checking out explained the whole menu including sauces to me. The food was fantastic - I had the forager with gluten free bun and the sweet potato fries on the side - with special sauce. My food came out quickly, I got my gingerale free of charge with no issue because they forgot to add it, they delivered extra napkins quickly. I really couldn't complain about this place.

They had the best quinoa veggie burger. They had so many locations back then. Now, most of their locations have mysteriously disappeared and they've changed their menu. They no longer have the quinoa burger, but they do have a black bean burger. It was good, not as good as the quinoa but decent. Bareburger always left me feeling hungry and never satisfied. Well, after eating there tonight, I was still hungry. I had the Guadalupe with sweet potato fries. This location on the UpperEastside was dark. Looking in from outside I couldn't tell if they were even open. There was only one other table in there, back in the day this place was always packed. It was freezing in there, the burger was warm and the fries were lukewarm. The experience wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I miss how great this place use to be.

Ordered the so cal burger with a few substitutes, got what appears to be the smoky blue burger. I tried to call to inform them about the mistake, but they also don't pick up the phone. Not worth paying $20+ if they can't get the right order or bother to answer the phone and fix it. My girlfriend's burger was tasty, I'm told...

I have been going to bareburger since the one in Murray Hill opened and I love bareburger but please sanitize this place,.... this is the dirtiest bareburger I've ever been in I couldn't finish my food after I dropped mt fork and went to pick it up and saw a dead rat under my booth. I'm appalled, I got harassed at the door for my Vax card but then they can't even keep the place clean???? Terrible

Always wanted to order from Bareburger, well, today I finally took the plunge and what a disappointment it was.The blazing bacon burger was dry, some of the bacon was overcooked some was raw; very little sweet fries in my order of mixed french fries and that was a shame because those were great; the shake did not even fill up the plastic cup, after this meal I can honestly say that their ketchup and sweet fries (whatever little there were) are the best thing about Bareburger.Do yourself a favor, order from Joy Burger, they are awesome, $34 wasted dollars later I have learned my lesson, learn from my mistake.

Unique place. It was my first time trying Duck Bacon here, and I will have to admit it was a lot better that I ever could expect it to be. Staff is very helpful and will certainly help you with anything. The service was good and I would definitely go back to Bareburger - Yorkville.

This location has not let us down on quality & consistency. However customer service has the ability to either retain me as a long term loyal customer or lose me forever. Today they lost me forever.Place wasn't empty there were 2 other tables, no one was in the front to greet us and take out temperature. We waited a couple mins no one came out, so we sat down at table 15. Closest table to the entrance and we kept our masks on until someone came out to check us. The place was clean I have no complaints with that. At this point we hit the 20 minute mark and someone finally came out. Dear Julie, as customers & consumers we respect the rules of every establishment when it comes down to Covid requirements. This was the first time we were ever scolded for something that was completely out of our control. In your words "just to let you know for future reference" theres no need to reprimand a customer for sitting down after waiting a long period of time for someone that was supposed to have been at the door. Telling someone to not ever sit down without being checked in with an attitude, why? We kept our masks on until you in our unfortunate case came out. My bf and I looked at each other after your banter because he knows I was going to go off but I was hungry I chose to let you be out rude. You should of been at the door with only 2 people inside you were no where in sight if anything you were always in the back anyway. Not sure how that was our fault that you were not doing your job. Rob, you did great we loved you as our waiter. Please teach Julie to be more like you, well spoken, mannered and polite. We saw how you handled the other customer that came in when no one was there to intake her. Wished we would of intercepted you instead of Julie. If she's the manager I hope they fire her and promote you.

New to NYC; was scoping today for places that also serve vegan options. 20 minute bike ride to get there, not bad at all. I order within the first 5 minutes of arriving. Of course, like any local restaurant, I understood itwould be a wait; expected it to be 15-20 minutes. 25 max, but I was the only one there. I noticed the guy who placed my order hadn't been back by the entrance since I ordered. I notice another worker now by the entrance seeminglyacting nonchalant- I became a little antsy because it had been 30 minutes at that point, and no update was given, or reassurance that my food would be out anytime soon. Had a sense what would come next. The guy who had taken my order originally comes back up to the front. Tells me that his delivery driver took the last burger I asked for, and out of the three other options on the menu- there's only one of them left. Why make me continuously wait without any update ? Just felt like they put off updating me, until last minute, offered an alternative option, but why wait another 20 minutes when I was the first, and only person there. I did get a refund. Nice area and atmosphere, but won't be returning.

This review is not for the food since I really enjoy the burgers. This review is for poor customer service and company policy. I ordered an El Matador burger with an impossible patty and a bison burger for my husband. The restaurant called to tell me they ran out of impossible patties and asked if I wanted anything else. I said no because I don't eat beef. I then asked to cancel my order and the restaurant said ok. However, I never received my money back. It is normally a restaurants policy to provide a refund for a cancelled order but the restaurant and corporate support absolutely refused. This is completely unacceptable. The restaurant didn't have the patty I requested, I cancelled my order, and did not receive any food. I should receive a refund! It's a shame because this place is going to lose way more money now by losing me as a customer and it's really a shame because I do like the impossible burgers here.
