teeny teeny tiny space but charming as hell.
lovely staff. GREAT drinks. get their chopped salad and tar tar (if you can get in).
Be the first to ReplyThe food, wine, service, ambience were all excellent.
We ordered the kale Caesar and the shrimp scampi and I can't wait to come back and order the same again. Understated sophistication.
Be the first to ReplyBrought my team here for a casual and boozy holiday lunch.
It was a group of 6 ladies and we enjoyed sharing cheese plates, arancini, salads, the duck, ceviche, sprouts...I'm pretty sure we ordered and enjoyed half the menu. The initial food pacing was a touch slow BUT we had nowhere to be and cocktails, atmosphere, and food was all lovely. I'd love to come back for brunch! A nice little gem of a restaurant.

Y'all know how much I LOVE Lartusi, that being said, I had a reservation for 2pm today (Sunday) but thought it was for 3pm and so I got there pretty late, because I was so hungry. I asked the hostess for recommendations in the area and she told me about their sister restaurant - Bartusi which is a bar/ lounge and just a block away, right on the corner of Hudson.Ramona was the host and she had a really kind/ warm energy which is so important for any establishment especially in food and beverage. It's a small intimate bar with a few lounge tables, cozy and intimate- just how I like it. The bar is first come first serve and I was lucky to snag a table less than 10 from my arrival. It's a pretty dope spot for pre dinner drinks and or light plates. I was very indecisive about what to order, but the bartenders- Rachel and Max and the bar assistant -Jeff were very helpful with some recommendations,I finally decided on the chicken wings for starters and wow- it was very well seasoned and very tender, followed by the burger for my main course , also very delicious, with very generous potions! I had to take some home! Thank you to the Chef- Joe Vigorito, Jeff, Rachel, Max and the entire team at Bartusi for making this a worthwhile experience.I will be back for sure
Be the first to ReplyGood place to stop by for drinks (and/or simple bites).
We had some time to kill before our dinner reservation and only got drinks but thought it was a good experience. Their menu seems a bit limited as far as food go...but try it out for yourself!

We loved it and we really appreciate to get in on the weekend without reservation. Outdoor sit was very nice and had heater. Food was amazing.

Bright and airy space with a great interior design, large windows, open bar, great music and an overall perfect ambiance for a bite with a drink. I would also come back for lunch! The octopus was delicious and the you can definitely tell the good quality of the charcuterie and cheese.

While this is definitely more of a drinks spot than a restaurant, we just got food here and it was pretty good! Not the regular L'Artusi-level good (five stars), but definitely tasty, fresh gnocchi, summery corn, and an interesting stuffed-calamari dish. Wouldn't come back but glad to try it.

I've been dreaming about the Italian chopped salad since I've eaten it here. The calamari was stuffed and not fried it was Very fresh, and not fishy. The service was quick and the interior ambiance was open and airy!

Our hostess, bartender and server were each so pleasant and professional. We arrived without reservations but the hostess happily put us in the waitlist assuring us it would not be a long wait. Our bartender easily transferred our bar bill to a table bill after our barely 10 minute wait. We shared 4 dishes, with recommendations from our server, and each was delicious and unique. The stuffed calamari - something we've never had before- was particularly amazing . And the mussels, served cold almost like a salad was excellent. Adorable place with lots of feel good energy !
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing.
Lasagna came out 2 second later and was room temperature. Broccoli dish was nothing special.
Be the first to ReplyFood and drinks were great! Service was great too.
The only negative was this one Asian server who was rude and thought she was beyond serving tonight.
Be the first to ReplyYum! Newly opened sister restaurant of L'Artusi.
The food and drinks are excellent. Great for a drink or splitting some appetizers.

A great spot for catching up with friends over drinks and small bites. The gas was not connected yet when we were there. However the paninis were still delicious. The main attraction though is their cocktail menu. A handful of solid cocktails with fun twists headline the menu, things like an aperol spritz with cardamom or margarita with rose make for solid cocktails that aren't boring.

Cute new spot, my friend and I stopped by for a drink- bartender couldn't have been nicer. Great vibes and location. I would recommend stopping in with friends/date- drinks are the usual $15-16. Can't comment on food since we didn't order any however they are apparently working to expand the menu... excited to see what that looks like!!

It's a very inviting boรฎte with an excellent starting menu, until they expand on the selections, whereupon I will be returning to be dazzled by greater fare for my high expectations. ย The libations were superb--they certainly were created to 'take the edge off!' ย As for the dessert selections, a good place to start is with the Peanut Butter & Jelly Tart--it pushes all other final course sensations farther apart, so Get Smart--order the Tart--and satisfy your sweet heart!

This place is from the team at L'artusi for the folks that aren't familiar -- so I had rather high expectations. Service was extremely, extremely slow. Our wait for 15 minutes turned into an hour. The spot is new so I expect they'll find their groove soon, and I'll visit again to check. PBJ dessert was simply their best item. Drinks and food was okay! Definitely a fun vibe, but extremely loud as well.
Be the first to ReplyCame here last Tuesday.
It was packed inside around 7pm. There were plenty of tables outdoors but it was chilly and started to drizzle. Small venue that does small plates. While I didn't eat, we enjoyed glasses of wine in a standing area before heading off to Lartusi. The Greco white wine was smooth and easy drink. The bartender was friendly. This is a place where you stay all night but more of like a holding area where you grab a drink before moving on elsewhere.

Wow! What an OUTSTANDING spot!! Early days (they just opened) and already very impressive. The space is beautifully designed with an inviting, comfortable vibe; the welcome couldn't be warmer; the menu is compact and eclectic, with something for everyone; the cocktails are elegant and delicious; the service is attentive and thoughtful (delightful Jacqueline's recommendations were spot-on) and the whole experience, from beginning to end, was reasonably priced and far exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to return!
Be the first to ReplyNice place for desserts and drinks.
ย We got the PB&J tart and it was delicious. ย The staff is also great.

New spot from the L'artusi team half a block away, which the poor hostess has already had to tell at least 5 or 6 people in a span of 20 minutes that this is their new restaurant and not L'artusi. So far just a limited menu as they wait for gas, but definitely worth stopping in still for some excellent bites. Try the Wagyu Tartare ($22) and the Tuna Crudo ($21), and definitely the PB&J Tart ($14) for dessert. I'll definitely be back here and their other soon to open concept next door.
