Racist place
We are staying currently in the hotel with half board served in this so called Italian restaurant. We have never experienced such racism and discrimination towards us. The staff are very rude, roll their eyes on you, doesnt let you take the food away for your babies (babies didn’t even eat a bite). On top of racist behavior we experienced the followings:
1. Two days in the row they tell us the restaurant is fully booked, although there was nobody. When we called in advance, they said it is empty, we can come. We paid for the half board, they cannot not let us in for what we paid.
2. Menu is quite short, note that menus in russian and English do not coincide. I ordered penne with spinach and ricotta. What I got was a penne in cream sauce. On top, half of what’s in this poor menu they don’t have. Including some common non-alcoholic drinks. Although they were empty, they said they run out of food…
3. Staff are rude, they roll their eyes, they don’t even listen to you and just turn away and leave. The response you get to any negative comment is - Yeah.
4. When we complained why half of the food can’t be served, he responded the following: it is a very expensive restaurant, all right? Half board means half dish! Have anyone heard of this type of nonsense? You pay money for half dish I guess in the 5 star hotel. how educated are those people to give this type of explanation? Half board is breakfast+lunch/breakfast+dinner. Poor waiter doesn’t even know what’s half board mean.
4. Kids didn’t even eat their food so we asked to give us boxes for take away. The response was: it is not allowed. Once we complained, they said: ok, we will allow you only today. Allow us today? Really? We pay for the food and we have to be allowed to take it away TODAY?
The terrible staff are: Mahmoud, Christine and Gladish.
Never come to this restaurant if you are asian or african. We are international family from Asia, Europe and Africa, and never experienced such discrimination in our lives.
Not worth your money
We were there as part of our half board meal plan.
Starters came fast and were tasty.
However one of the main dices was a complete disaster.
Instead of Rigatoni with truffle sauce, we got just plain Creme without any tast.
The desert was a miniature tiramisu of maybe supermarket quality.
Wine was completely overpriced and not worth the p75€ they asked for it.
We ended up spending 100€ on top of our half board for a disaster dinnwe
Value to money just bad bad bad!!!!
BEST FRIDAY BRUNCH, BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. FAMILY FRIENDLY!
I recently held my baby shower at BiCe Restaurant, located in the Hilton Hotel in JBR, and it is the most perfectly cute venue, situated poolside in the downstairs lobby of the hotel and has a very 'Italian' feel.
BiCe Restaurant was the most perfect venue for a boys baby shower as it is decorated with neutral and blue toned décor. They had amazing service and served tasty Italian food. It was honestly everything I was looking for and more, it was beautiful.
BiCe brunch is on Fridays and starts at 12:30pm and finishes at 4pm (with last drinks orders at 3:30pm) however they allowed us to arrive an hour early (at 11:30am) to set up for the shower. We had 16 guests in total and, due to social distancing regulations, this meant we had to be split across two tables, which wasn't an issue at all as with the way the restaurant is set out, we pretty much had our own area to ourselves and the tables were very close to each other.
The drinks included in the brunch deal, which is also featured on the Entertainer app (2 for 1) were 'house drinks' including house spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks and there was enough food to feed a football team, it was unlimited and endless. Dishes included:
Starters – smoked salmon, risotto balls, couscous salad
Second course – Pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza
Main course – truffle pasta, gnocchi, lamb chops, beef steaks
Dessert – selection of mini cakes & desserts to share
Each dish was fresh, served perfectly and was delightful to taste and what makes it even better is that, if you're still hungry, you can order more of your favourite dish as and when you wish.
The drinks were free-flowing and were topped up without us even having to ask.
Overall you could not fault anything about BiCe and I am actually already planning our next visit there as a family when the baby is born as it is suitable for all ages and every seat was full, making the atmosphere great, especially during COVID times!
The brunch cost per person for the house drinks brunch package was AED 350 per person (entertainer not included).

Awful service, below average food
Yesterday I attempted to the brunch! The service is horrible, they don’t come and attend you , you have to call them several times, the food was tasteless, the African waitress had bad attitude, not music, not entertainment, the atmosphere was quite off for very old people

No doubt about the service, they are all attentive.. special thanks to Mahmoud and Yao for taking care out table. 425 Aed for brunch its not worth it for the food, meat (beef and lamb) was cheawy and very low quality. Starter was very poor, seafood salad doesnt have seafood at all just potato and carrots and the bresaola was cut too thick came without any dressing together with salad. Dessert was good specially the tiramisu.

Lovely brunch last week at BICE -- Great pasta dishes with a surprise of fresh pizza and saffron risotto. Grilled lamb chops, beef and fish -- tiramisu was perfect as well as other sweet treats -- but I couldn't eat any more -- others at my table were happy to oblige. Gladish did a great job keeping us happy and replenished with anything we asked. Definitely will return.
Be the first to ReplyPoor service and attitude/ good meal - not recommended!
Cheating as a trademark.
Starting with a positive: some dishes were meeting expectations (eg Lamb and tart). That’s all.
Service was so slow and not attentive (10 minutes to wait a cocktail, pouring wine ourselves) even restaurant was empty on holiday day.
The most dissatisfaction was from administration: waiter confirmed Hilton honors discount at beginning of the dinner, but the administration ( Albanian lady) denied everything and completely ruined the last chance to keep this place to be visited or recommended forever.
In Dubai there are plenty amazing restaurants, do not spoil your evening even if you are staying in Hilton, go outside and be happy!
Iftar 2021
We went for the Iftar and as always it was exceptional! I absolutely love the staff and the vibe of the restaurant apart from the delish food that is served.
Iftar priced at AED 225 is an absolute steal. From a selection of soups, to cold and hot mezzes, live pasta station, live roast beef, an oasis of dessert - the display is sure to blow your mind and tickle your palate.
I absolutely loved the lamb chops, ravioli, kibbeh, salmon, tabbouleh.. likely almost everything on the list.
I would absolutely recommend you to try it out with your family and friends.
