Sleaze Pit
The noise and the bad service is a problem but the much bigger problem are the disgusting types hanging out with siliconed Siberian Aliens ! Its a meat market actually quite an experience for those who think London is a clean city ! Not a place for nice folk for sure stay away
Be the first to ReplyQuiet hotel in London
The hotel is situated on a quiet street in London. Rooms are a little bit dark and old fashioned which reminded me of a bachelor pad in old England. It has no modern locks for the rooms which isnโt everyoneโs idea nowadays. Room service ok and the staff was friendly.
Be the first to ReplyBrilliant wedding night stay
We stayed for the night of our wedding - beautiful room and fantastic service from all staff. The breakfast in bed was great, they all made an effort to make it feel special for us. Would love to stay again one day
Be the first to ReplyEscape to another decadent world
What a wonderfully relaxing stay. The bed was blissfully comfortable, the bath a real treat and the breakfast was excellent.

I loved the touch of fruit on arrival and the staff were a perfect balance of friendly but discreet. It truly feels like another world and escape from the world which is so important at the moment. Would highly recommend.
AVOID - changed booking terms
Have tried to visit before and previously recommended to collect and fiends. Booked fully flexible room just before first lockdown; cancelled in due time; they charged 50% anyway - donโt trust them - there are more honest places to stay.
Be the first to ReplyRefund not given
Blakes cancelled out booking due to Covid. However, they refused to provide a refund despite not being able to honour the booking. This room booking cost over ยฃ500 for one night and it was a treat for my fathers 60th birthday. As an NHS worker I have worked tirelessly through the pandemic and it upsets me that I am not being afforded the refund I'm due.
Be the first to ReplyLarge Boutique Charm
This place is bigger than many boutique hotels we've stayed at, but it's still got that quirky indie charm. We chose something romantic, unusual and luxurious from a long list of individually designed bedrooms and were very pleased with everything, from warmth of greeting on arrival to cleanliness, breakfast service . . . it was all great and the only SMALL negative was that we didn't like the hotel's 'fragrance' - it's based on oranges but too often smelled like BO rather than an intoxicating perfume. Granted, that's a personal opinion.

Didn't live Upto expectation .
Quite disappointed with the stay
Staff are great but the hotel is dim and dreary ... for the price you'd at least expect a continental breakfast ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Coffee machine was in the clothes closet which was not well lit at all and had to use phone torch to see anything ..
Bathroom shower hose leaked and needed fixing .. overlooked by staff maybe ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Wouldn't stay again
Perfect overnight stay
Had one night in London to meet my wife and see the Shen Yun show. Decided to find a romantic place and after a quick look online, Blakes hotel, especially their signature suites frequently pop up on many top 10 lists. So we went for it. We were arriving from different parts of the world and meeting up and the staff made us feel very welcome. The room is as over the top as you would expect from alledgedly the first Boutique hotel. Overall, very good service, in the room when I asked for matches, or at breakfast or the bar after the show, where we had a really nicely done , flaky tarte tatin. One night to remember for sure.
Be the first to ReplyDissapointed by too many little things
Sorry to say it didn't fully impress. Not a very organised or warm welcome on arrival and we were told we'd been upgraded as if it was a gift, when we had paid for it! The pre ordered champagne took 40 minutes and 3 phone calls to reception to arrive! The fire alarm went of both nights! (thankfully only once the 2nd night). No conditioner, cotton wool, shower cap nor complementary touch such as fruit/flowers/chocolates. Shower curtain too short so masses of mopping up to do after every shower. Dinner was truly delicious but our waitress was inexperienced and being trained in what to do better within earshot. We had lunch at Soho House and reminded ourselves of what great service looks really like.
