Bleecker Street Pizza New York Reviews from The Last Year

My favorite pizza place in New York! The restaurant is at the corner of Bleecker St. & 7th Ave. - not far from subway. There are indoor tables and some seating outside. I chose my pizza, paid & someone will call you when your order is ready. There are pictures of famous people on the wall. The pizza has a nice crispy crust. It had a dusting of cornmeal which I like because it made the pizza extra crunchy. The sauce was delicious and fresh! - Pepperoni pie: yum! They gave loads of pepperoni on top. Although the pepperoni was a bit spicy for my kid's liking, he finished the pizza! - Nonna Maria pizza: the combination of the sauce, cheese, mozzarella was perfection! The mozzarella tasted very fresh! One of the most delicious pizza I've ever had!

Bleecker Street Pizza is the best after bar food!!! The variety of pizza is amazing. I ordered the penne pizza and it was phenomenal!! So unique. The grandma square pizza were so doughy and the sauce was flavorful.

I had one of the lousiest slices of pizza yesterday, April 24, 2024, and at $3.95+ tax is a huge ripoff! The mozzarella cheese is seriously lacking and tasting very rubbery with no oil on it! I don't know who owns it nowadays but this pizzeria needs a radical revamping of its pizza-making ... and drop its prices down to a reasonable figure ... assuming I ever return to try it again? Doug and Tony owned it years ago. Who owns it today?

Nice crispy slice , quick service and cute ambiance to stop by with kids. Must try when you in the area
Nona Maria and WHITE PIE! Wonderful
I have tried a couple of pizzas in nyc and I’m confident enough to say that this pizza is really good. The variety of slices is amazing. I read a lot of reviews before trying this place and you must try Nona Maria. It’s a classic slice but it is perfect. The slice is big. The amount of cheese and tomato sauce is perfect. Every slice is hot. And also, there is not oil on the slice. There are a lot of slices in ny that are more oil and butter than pizza. This pizza doesn’t have that quality. The dough is soft and oiliness! Perfect pizza YOU MUST TRY NONA MARIA. And if you want to try something different, try the WHITE PIE. It’s a pizza either three kinds of cheese. It is way better than a four cheese pizza. White pie is a wonderful slice. It was a recommendation from the guy who prepared the pizzas! Slice: 5/5 Price: between 4 and 5 dollars Environment: 5/5 Preparation: 5/5 The only but is that the line was long. That also is something good because demonstrates that the place is famous!
quick service
Bleecker Street Pizza offers both dine-in and takeaway options. The service is quick and efficient, whether you're grabbing a slice on the go or enjoying a leisurely meal in the restaurant. The staff is always happy to make recommendations and ensure that your order is exactly to your liking.
Came here after seeing John Barr's YouTube video.
The Nonna Marie slice is amazing! The best balance between crust, sauce and cheese. Also lots of flavor. The best pizza I have very had in Manhattan.

Best pizza in NYC
Best pizza we’ve ever had. We tried the Nonna Maria and it was delicious!! We also had the pleasure of meeting Greg. Lovely place, definitely worth a visit
My favorite pizza spot in the city.
Greg is the once owner of the fine establishment takes time to talk to guests and tell his Bleecker Street Pizza story. They've recently expanded over the years, so there is more seating. Love this spot!
This is, hands down, the best pizza I have ever had.
Bo frills. Just pizza. So amazingly good that it should be illegal!
Amazing pizza
Now onto the main attraction, the pizza. We ordered their signature pizza which had a thin crust with a perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The sauce was tangy and had just the right amount of spice. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, making each bite burst with flavor. I especially loved the addition of fresh basil, it added a refreshing touch to the pizza.
This place is awesome.
Definitely coming back. Crust is great, the Nona is damn good.
Delicious pizza!
One of the best pizza we tried in NYC. We tried Nonna Maria pizza and it was delicious. We were chatting with Greg who made us feel very welcome. I would definitely would recommed to try it out!

So we were only in town for a few days and with a list of places to eat that was longer than the amount of time and stomach space we had possession of we had to make some tough decisions. We all had a major NY style pizza craving but we could only allot one meal/snack for it. In order to not take any chances we went straight to Bleecker Street to stuff our faces with slices of the glorious Nonna Maria. The crust was so crisp on the bottom with a physics defying thin layer of fluffy airy crust on top. The magic are the bread crumbs that they add to the dough. And of course their Nonna Maria toppings of mozzarella, basil, and that homemade tangy sweet marinara sauce are the perfect crown for that royal crust. No matter how many places try and make this pizza it seemingly cannot be duplicated. It must be the tap water that comes straight from that corner of Bleecker Street. Wish I could live next door!
Amazing Pizza!! You won't be disappointed!!
We found Bleecker Street Pizza after reviewing one of Jon Barr's YouTube videos with food recommendations so we had to visit! We had the Nonna Maria Pizza and Garlic Knots and they did not disappoint. Whilst we were there we met Greg who was chatting away to us and made us feel so welcome! Highly recommend a visit - you won't be disappointed!
A must-visit for food enthusiasts
A culinary gem in the heart of the city! Bleecker Street Pizza exceeded our expectations with its inventive menu, delicious food, and warm hospitality. A must-visit for food enthusiasts
The BEST Pizza in New York!
Bleeker Street Pizza was on our list to visit whilst in NY after seeing it recommended on You Tube! It did not disappoint! We ordered a slice and sat in to eat. Great pizza with a light crunchy base, and delicious toppings. While we sat there Greg came over and introduced himself, he’s the owner. What a wonderful man! We chatted for a good 2O-30 mins about all sorts and learned about Greg and how he became the owner. He made us very welcome and congratulated us on our milestone birthdays! They have a great team of staff, very friendly an impressive wall of fame to admire … he even had a Taylor Swift story to impart, which impressed our daughter! All in all a big thumbs up from us, and a MUST if you’re in the area.
Came for pizza, stayed for Greg
On a very long pizza tour of NYC we made sure to stop at Bleecker St and boy did we get lucky. We got the chance to talk to Greg who only works one day a week. He shared some great memories and conversation with us. The Nonna Maria pizza was amazing but the moment even more special so share with Greg. A real highlight of my trip.
Lunch and Conversation
A return visit to the Village meant a return to Bleecker Street Pizza and their delicious Nonna Maria slice. This time it also meant a friendly and meaningful talk with its longtime owner, Greg. Go on a Friday and you can experience both!

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

Give the best answerNewbie sellers— how fast do your reservations sell?
I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

I posted a request for a reservation this Thursday between 6:30 and 8 pm and initially the potential seller said it would be fulfilled by today. Now they changed it that they will only fulfill it by 5pm that same day. Basically I would have an hour and a half to get to the restaurant. Is this allowed?

This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion. Also don’t pay these fake “gurus” hundreds of dollars to teach you. Might as well sign up for a software class. 😕
