Came here for a team dinner and the wait staff was great!
Came here for a team dinner and the wait staff was great! Very attentive and kept the drinks and appetizers coming! We also received our dinner in a reasonable time (keep in mind there were 40+ of us) so bravo to the team again. Great entre and appetizers! My favs were the mozzarella and tomato salad and calamari. I tried the Marg pizza, but it wasn't anything special. The Dijon salmon was good, but slightly over cooked for my liking. I requested medium and it was well done. Not a huge deal in my opinion. My only complaint was that it got very hot in the restaurant. Maybe just because of so many people and a pizza oven operating next to us, the restaurant started to boil us all.

I'm not certain why this place has so few people at lunchtime. Perhaps it's because it's gotten colder and you can't have the windows open as you look at the city. The views are great the service was attentive and we only got salads so I really can't speak deeply to the menu. That said everything in the salad tasted very fresh and it was not overdressed at all. I definitely think it would be worth trying again especially in warmer weather or in the evening to look at the city lights.

Perfect location and menu for a large party! Our waitress was amazing and kept the sangria flowing. The pizza and dinners were delicious. We will definitely be back!

Came for lunch on a Saturday, they don't take reservations so we just walked in and got lucky. They have indoor seating, a covered patio seating, and outdoor seating. We obvi choose outdoor facing the Hudson river views. and best of all...they're DOG FRIENDLY! Only outdoors of course.Prices aren't cheap but they aren't overpriced either. $12 mimosas, $18 pizzas, and $24 pastas are okay for this area and the population it attracts..esp when everything is so delicious. Drinks:Sgroppino mimosa- the menu says "lemon sorbet" but it was barely a hint of lemon to me. more like a lemon essence but still tasted good and did the trick.Blue eyes mimosa- the mango is a tad stronger and definitely a nice orange color but not anything like thick mango juice. also tasted good and got me buzzed.Food:Diavola pizza- the best spicy pizza! the salami, the cheese, the fresh basil...everything was perfect. Reminded me of Italy! Spaghetti Alla Carbonara- ONE WORD: GUANCIALE! Basically thick bacon, pecorino pasta with black pepper. Sounds simple but so delicious. We made this pasta dish at a cooking class in Rome and I dare say this was comparable! Authentic and fresh ingredients. Must try!Only negatives:-- they only have a single bathroom for everyone so expect long lines/waits.-- i wish they provided dog bowls like the other dog friendly eateries in the area.Return? DefinitielyRecommend? highly
Be the first to ReplyBest penne vodka pasta I've ever had in my life.
It was cooked fresh and well+ service was good. The pizza I'd say is pretty decent but other than that it was a solid restaurant and a great location. I highly recommend going here!
Be the first to ReplyI have been coming to Blue Eyes for over 6 years.
The food is consistently great and the service is always amazing. The views of the city are unmatched. I recommend the penne alla vodka and burrata. If you are looking for a great place to go with friends or family this is the place!
Be the first to ReplyExtremely disappointed in the service here today.
My husband and I came here for drinks and apps and were told to sit anywhere which was fine as it was during lunch. We found a seat and were handed menus. After waiting for about ten minutes, we watched other Caucasian patrons get seated and tended to. After another few minutes of observing various waiters walk past us and chat up with other patrons, we asked for a waiter to which one of them asked, "you want water?" I was very disgusted as we were totally looked over since we are not Caucasian - I always sent colleagues and friends here but will never do so again. It was such a blatant display of racism, like we didn't exist. I have never felt like the color of my skin was a factor in how I was treated anywhere, especially in an establishment in a city where I was born and raised - very disgusted and disappointed and will never encourage friends or colleagues or business partners to frequent this restaurant again. Needless to say I will never spend my money at this place.

.. inside Sinatra Park on the Hudson with absolutely stunning views... tough for the food to live up to that stage but guess what? IT DOES!!! The Burrata was perfect with firm skin punctured by my fork to reveal a smooth, creamy center. My friend's insalata was perfection and my grilled polpo was amazing. Jerry and Alessandro were perfect hosts who came out to greet my friend on finding out she is about to be married. Michaele was a very attentive server. And what was so spectacular was the wine list which is decently priced for such a restaurant experience. Their Montepulciano at 45 bucks is such a bargain we shared two bottles, something I NEVER do. If in Hoboken, GO! If in NYC, get on the PATH train or Ferry and GO! I am sorry it took me so long to finally get here. Worth the viaggio!

Had a great time at Blue Eyes and would most definitely come again! I ordered the Margherita Pizza and the Penne Alla Vodka - my personal favorites - and the food came very quickly. The pizza was incredible, the dough + texture was perfect. The only reservation I had was with the rest of the pizza as it was a tad soggy. But regardless I still liked it a lot. The penne alla vodka was delicious as well and I had no complaints.
Be the first to ReplyWORST SERVICE EVER and food was bleh.
Will never be back. We ordered 3 pizzas and a penne vodka. And the penne came out 20 min before the pizzas. And then the pizza came out when I was done with my pasta. Wrong pizza came to table so they took it back and took another 15 minutes to give us the right pizza to only tell us that they won't charge us for the 2 separate pizzas and that they would only charge us for the "for 2" pizza option cause it's cheaper which makes no sense cause that's what we originally ordered anyway so why did the server repeat that info as if she was hooking us up?? WORST SERVICE EVER
Be the first to ReplyNice spot on the waterfront.
The pizza is really delicious. The crust is perfect. The clams starter is also a sure bet. Just a note for Yelpers - this restaurant only serves beers and wine.
Be the first to ReplyFood was okay.
Very expensive. noodles was kind of tough. I did enjoy my $18 glass of wine. The only really good thing about this place is the scenery and view of the manhattan skyline
Be the first to ReplyI came here for lunch with a friend from out of town.
After living in Hoboken for 4+ years I thought I would finally give Blue Eyes a try. The waitress was very rude after we didn't order appetizers. Her whole demeanor made the experience a disappointment. We each got a Bellini and a a pasta dish. The food was average and we took the majority of it to go because they made us feel like an inconvenience because we only ordered a drink and an entree. It was lunch on a Sunday. Not busy at all. With all the other good restaurants in Hoboken, I will not be going back. You can get the same view from Union Hall or Halifax.

Location - restaurant has a very nice waterfront view and the option to sit right outside. Too hot the evening we went so we sat inside and still got to enjoy the view Service - service was ok. Our waitress didn't seem to care too much about being friendly. Her vibe was off when she approached our table and we didn't really appreciate her tone when answering questions about the menu. The food - my son enjoyed the pizza, hubby loved his red snapper meal and I give my carbonara spaghetti two thumbs up. Keep in mind this place only offers beer and wine and fountain drinks. You will have to pay for your fountain drinks refills.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location.
And greats views of Manhattan. Food did not disappoint. I had Pizza and companion had fish. No complaints at all. Best of all - great waiter. Helpful and he was entertaining. Wish I could remember his name.

This is a great spot to stop and grab a drink and a pizza after work. It has the perfect view of NYC. The gnocchi with pesto sauce was superb. However, the bathroom definitely needed a cleaning. I couldn't bring my toddler in there bc it was just bad and had to leave to get her home.
Be the first to ReplyDisgusting food.
Waited easily 10-15 minutes for water/service. Grilled octopus appetizer was hard, fishy and inedible. The Pollo Valdostana chicken was also hard and was very very bland. Bright spots were the pesto on gluten free pasta and the view. Do not recommend and will not be back.

Thought we'd stop by for drinks on the 4th before the fireworks. We were told we couldn't stay if we wanted only drinks. (First red flag). So we decided to just leave, then as we went to pay our bill which should have been around 20$ we were charged 79$ for 2 drinks.. Won't ever go back
Be the first to ReplyI really like the food at Blue Eyes.
Their pizza and pasta qualities are top-notch. Whenever I come to eat here with my family, I have a good time. I am sure the view doesn't hurt. It's absolutely gorgeous, especially in summer. Also, they are very friendly to my little one. My daughter kept waving at our waiter and he always smiles and waves back. He was super sweet.
Be the first to ReplyI went here today for Father's Day with my dad and step mom.
We got right in. Cute area and cute place to eat scenery wise. The place otherwise is terrible. They didn't even give us ice with our waters. Ask if we needed refills. We waited an hour for our food ... i got penne vodka ... and it was hard as shit with no taste. I also got shrimp when i didn't ask for it. I told her i didn't want the food. And she said laughed and said okay. Walked away - and then since we walked in has not asked us if we wanted any refills or anything else to eat. Or what she can do to make sure i had a meal ... she just walked away. No sorry nothing. She was so rude. She's the blonde with curly hair waitress and she sucks ass as an employee here. It's an 80 degree day and I'm sitting here with warm water and a bug in my drink :) so no i don't recommend coming here at all. The service sucks

Food was not very good, mediocre and not Italian tasting at all. Salmon and Seafood pasta was alright. Fettuccine with Bolognese didn't taste homemade at all. Obviously frozen Calamari and I worry other meals might be frozen or pre made as the chef refused to make any edits to our orders at all, I fear the options for those with allergies. Chef refused to make edits to the chicken parm as "it wasn't chicken parm", what an insulting and elitist attitude. And no ambiance at all with ย the filthy and sticky floors and non Italian music, they shouldn't take advantage of being an "Italian restaurant" and being on Sinatra drive if they aren't even trying to make it feel in the slightest bit traditional.

Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant is in a very nice location.
We went in the middle of the day on a Saturday and there was no wait, the food was very good everything was very Italian. The pizza was very light and tasty the soup of the day was phenomenal and I would highly recommend.
