The food was outstanding, the ambiance was authentic and the service was great. Upscale and elegant.
Be the first to ReplyReally great food, music and vibes.
The service was a little slow but the waitress was very nice. My favorites were the drinks (the one with tomato was so good and interesting), the burrata app and the ragu pasta. This location is right in Soho so you're very close to a lot of places to go afterwards. It was definitely a memorable meal in London and I am sure I will go back!
Be the first to ReplyThe food and service is amazing! Very cute upscale decor.
Was quite loud while I was there but it was great

Perfect for date night. Food was exquisite. The salmon did not disappoint! The avocado salad with pomegranate was so refreshing and hardy. Tiramisu was delicious. What a perfect meal to share.

The DJ experience was fantastic with great food in a warm & friendly environment. Great way to spend a birthday.

Had a good time at bottomless brunch here with some friends over the weekend. For £59 you get bottomless drinks (aperol spritz, Bellinis, Prosecco) and bottomless pizza. The restaurant is beautiful and definitely feels very upscale. Service was super attentive and the drinks were flowing. We would get second rounds before we were even done with our first. They were also (suspiciously) fast about churning out the pizza. Pizza was just okay. Definitely didn't live up to the overall vibes of the restaurant. Crust was very crispy and nothing stood out as being really exceptional, but it was fine and after 5 aperol spritzes that's all you need. The main thing that bugged me is that we had a 12:30 res, were seated at 12:35, and got our first round of drinks at prob 12:45. It was a 90 minute bottomless and they cut us off at 1pm on the dot. I understand sticking to the time limit but it seemed like they could have been a bit more flexible. Music/DJ was fine. Didn't love it. Overall probably won't come back but it was a nice enough time!

Good vibe. A little too loud for me but i can see that people would like it. The portions are huge and tasty. Food came out quickly. Felt like they wanted to turn the table quickly.

Be the first to ReplyThis was an excellent Italian restaurant.
The calamari was crisp and delicious and focaccia bread was warm and tasty. I had a spicy salami pizza which was excellent. Tbh, there's no kids menu. Highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed excellent wine, food and service at Bocconcino last night. Our waiter George provided excellent recommendations and was attentive to every small detail. We started with the carpaccio and scallops dishes and side of focaccia. All fresh and perfectly prepared. We both had the sole for our mains, with frittes and spinach, again each perfectly prepared and presented. We ate on the street level and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. We will definitely return.

Delicious fresh pasta!I got the truffle pasta which was super flavorful and extremely rich. I was so stuffed by the end I almost couldn't finish my meal. Great atmosphere and beautiful interior. Decent spot for a fine Italian meal.

Wow!!! Thank you to this restaurant for hiring quality staff. Hostess and server were so pleasant and actually knew how to cater to a guests needs unlike half of London. Amazing and delicious food
Be the first to ReplyDefinitely get the minestrone.
It is remarkable. All the pasta was perfect, and loved the primitivo. Staff were sweet with kids - but would recommend only taking calm children because we were the only young family in there.

Bocconcino is a classy Italian restaurant with fancy decor and scrumptious food. We came for a company dinner and had a delicious feast of assorted apps (e.g., tartare, salad, carpaccio), pizza, steak, assorted desserts (e.g., tIramisu, cheesecake, gelato, cannoli), and more. Food was wonderful, and staff were friendly. The restaurant ambiance is traditional high-end, with dim lighting and nice furnishings. Overall a nice choice if you're seeking a tasty Italian experience for a date night or fancy meal out.

The atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant is really nice and grand. There's a ground floor and basement - it's quite large. I went for restaurant week and everything was just ok. The waitress mostly forgot about our table, never bringing us water until after we asked a few times and this happened throughout the evening. I had the beet salad which was nice but nothing to write home about and the butternut squash ravioli which had very little character. My fav was probably the dessert. Probably won't be coming back.

Such a delicious meal! Trendy yet fancy atmosphere and authentic food. I had the homemade pasta with veal Ragu and I loved it. Eggplant parm was also great.
Be the first to ReplyWe loved this place.
Very beautiful interior. Ate upstairs in the Italian section. Service, food, and atmosphere was amazing. Generous pours of wine . Lovely and relaxing.

Unlike its overwrought, overpriced neighbors, this restaurant is a pleasant surprise! Everyone working here, from the hostess and coat checkers to the waiters and floor manager are friendly and accommodating. The dining room is beautiful and relaxed and during our recent visit there was live music on offer. And finally... the food was terrific! My wife's fish was unusual and delicious. My daughter's pasta was delicate, tasty and generously portioned. My own venison and saffron risotto was delightful. If you are in London and in the mood for Italian - can't go wrong heree

Beautiful restaurant and friendly service but food was mediocre and the noise level loud. Tables are packed very close together making it hard to hear your dining mate. Bar service was terrible - no real seats and uninspired cocktails. With improvement, this place could be better but as is, I wouldn't return.

They were very busy and we didn't have a reservTion, but they still took in two very hungry, extremely tired, and definitely underdressed American tourists and treated us like royalty. I have dietary restrictions and our waiter took great care to make sure I could have something on their menu. I ended up having the sea bream with French beans and amazing, fresh foccicia bread. My wife had asparagus risotto and a salad and was also extremely pleased. The place is pricey but they were so nice to us and the food was so good. Highly recommended for an upscale meal out.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a very trendy Italian restaurant in Mayfair.
I chose this restaurant after reading several reviews and seeing many pictures on Instagram, and though it was nice, I am not sure if I would return.ORDER: Burratina D'Andria con pomodori e pesto; Spaghetti Arrabiata; Tagliatelle al Tartufo Nero Pregiato; Fondente al cioccolato con gelato alla vanigliaAVOID: Pici Cacio E Pepe; Torta al cioccolato; Focaccia al rosmarino; Bloody MaryLet me start by saying I had extremely high hopes for this restaurant. For an antipasti, the mixed olives were very nice, but the focaccia al rosmarino was unimpressive and very dry. It was more like plain pizza bread with rosemary sprinkled on top and nothing (not even olive oil) served with it. The salumi toscani plate was nice. My asparagus with black truffle and poached egg was nice, but it lacked flavor - the truffle flavor was not very pronounced and it was lacking salt. Two of my companions ordered the Pici cacio e pepe - one of our favorite pastas from Tuscany. Unfortunately they were out of pici, so they substituted linguine instead, which just isn't the same as homemade pici. It was barely seasoned and my companions had to add a large amount of salt and pepper at the table. The tagliatelle al tartufo nero pregiato was quite nice, but as with all fresh truffle dishes, there are never enough truffles ;) The spaghetti arabbiata was AMAZING!!! I loved it! My friend's was far more spicy than mine and to be honest, mine being slightly less spicy was more enjoyable. I would definitely get this again. As with many items the night we ate here, they were out of the Fragole di Stagione which is what my friend wanted - instead they brought her fresh mixed fruit and chantilly cream, but it was unimpressive. The torta al cioccolato tasted like a big hershey kiss and came with a lot of raspberry coulis, which I despise. The fondente al cioccolato con gelta alla vaniglia was DELICIOUS.Overall, they were out of several items we wanted to order and most of the food took quite a bit of time to come out. We had to ask several times for parmigiano cheese on our pasta and for limes for my friend's flavorless Bloody Mary. The manager came by at the end and apologized for their lack of items and slow service and assured us it was not normally how they do business, but only having been here one time I can not speak to whether or not this was the norm.I would be willing to try this restaurant again, if nothing else for the spaghetti arrabiata.
