I knew I should've canceled the reservation when I saw that
I knew I should've canceled the reservation when I saw that my favorite glass of wine was $84! Our food was just OK my rib cap steak no better than you could make at home. My dining partners lobster pot pie looked impressive but had too much going on to be truly delicious. Service was nice but not over the top and not worthy of such high prices. We were there on a Saturday night before Father's Day and the restaurant was about half full. Please go to Texas roadhouse you will save about $500 and have just as good a meal. Also if you are ever in Fredericksburg, please try Fahrenheit 132. It truly is the best steakhouse our family and friends have ever been to.

Bourbon is serving upscale fabulousity!! Ive been here twice and both times, the service has been outstanding. It's pricey...but just understand what you're entertaining and enjoy. The comfortable seating, the leather and sleek decor, the upscale but chill vibe, makes Bourbon at the Four Seasons the place you should at least try if you're in the area. The food is delicious as well with excellent portions. The turkey burger, grilled salmon, and caesar salads were all fantastically prepared and seasoned. Also, try out their outdoor patio with the fire pit..a beautiful way to end the evening. The staff are incredibly accommodating and attentive! Overall highly recommend!
Came here for a girlfriend's birthday dinner celebration.
The restaurant is inside the Four Seasons Hotel, which is nice and upscale. Our waiter, Adam, was cool, professional, and organized; however, I don't know if it was busy when we came but it took us closer to 2 hours to get our food after placing our orders, and when the food arrived it was lukewarm at best. When the birthday girl spoke to one of the managers about it, it was implied they could warm it up, what we assume would be a microwave. This place is pretty expensive, so to say you will warm it up was questionable. What I ordered *it is an Á la carte menu: The power of pink cocktail Steak (medium), came out medium well. Spinach - was ok Potatoes - tasted like baby food Sauce (you pay $10 for three - my favorites were the Bourbon Steak Sauce and Au Poivre. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the fries and bread that are provided to the table was good. Those rolls were hot, fresh, and soft. I give that a 10/10. It was a nice experience, but I don't need to come back.

Ordered the salmon medium rare - came out rare but very good! Had a martini extra extra dry.....tasted like it had vermouth.....second martini, I watched the bartender make it.....tried to pour a whole shot of vermouth....stopped him....he said extra dry means a double amount of vermouth.....NO!!! At a place like this....i expect the bartender to know what "extra dry" means - he told me....if you don't want vermouth you just order it UP, otherwise it means double vermouth....NO!

Yesterday me and my husband celebrated our 1yr anniversary at Bourbon Steak DC. It was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in they acknowledged our anniversary with champagne and a thoughtful card. The food was very tasteful and plentiful. Our highlight of the night was Kevin "The Captain" as he referred to as his position. He walked the restaurant to make sure all parties was being served properly and satisfied with their service. I must add he was actually better than our direct waiter. Thank you Kevin for being very attentive and showing us so much class and professionalism.

Everything was phenomenal! I'd eat here everytime I visit Washington DC. The steak, hamachi, salads, sides were to die for. One of the best meals I've ever had.
Bourbon Steak lived up to all the hype.
The star of the dining experience was Victoria, our sommelier. She was kind, engaging, efficacious, and passionate about wine. The service staff was attentive and gracious. The cold seafood tower was spectacular and delicious especially the shrimp, lobster tail, and tuna tartare. The petite filet was amazing and cooked a perfect medium rare. The sides: creamed spinach, broccolini and loaded baked potato were all delicious accompaniments. The surroundings were vibrant and high energy. We felt like we were dining at our best friend's home. Thank you to the entire staff at Bourbon Steak in Washington, DC.
One of the best in DC
One of the best restaurants of Washington DC. Great Location with even better service. Food is great, starting by the breads they serve you when you arrive. I like everything about this restaurant. I will comeback.
Extraordinary experience
Celebrated our son’s birthday here and it was outstanding! Zero complaints with anything here. Everything from reception, to seating, service and food was outstanding. We look forward to returning and will be recommending without hesitation.

sublime perfection
Hotel restuarants rarely live up to the advertising- however there is a fab Sous Chef here; I was in a party of 8 business persons, we all chose something different and everyone had high compliments. The presentation is good and the food is the best.
Eat Steak With The Stars.
Perched in the Washington DC Four Seasons hotel is the Bourbon Steak restaurant as an ode to the American steakhouse experience. Of course the menu is heavy on the meat side but add to that a catalog of inventive cocktails as well as menu items made up of creatures from the sea. An utterly posh ambience, the interior design is embellished with muted leather chairs, rich woods, metal accents and large windows that provide abundant natural light. My audit of the menu steered me toward the Onion Soup and the Pan Roasted Veal Chop...........a real blast for my appetite. Celebrities, Diplomates and CEO's are 'hot to trot' to this restaurant, so the 'wait list' can be lengthy but a testament to it's popularity.................... and you eat steak with the stars.
A very good option in DC
Very good steaks (although not surprisingly pricey), and there are some Japanese wagyu options (but after having lots of beef in Japan I'd stay stick with going to Tokyo for proper wagyu experiences). Service was very good. Overall decor is fairly traditional. Add in the bar/lounge area before or after on weekends for an especially entertaining time.

Had an opportunity to eat at Bourbon Steak DC and it was absolutely delightful. Our server Danwel was very attentive and extremely helpful. Our filets were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Thank you so much for a great night.
I'll just get straight to the point this place is over
I'll just get straight to the point this place is over priced and underwhelming. Our lamb, salmon and halibut were all under seasoned. The two steaks we ordered were not cooked to the requested temperature and after sending back you just got a super tough piece of meat. The sides were also lacking in seasoning. The whipped potatoes were bland, the lobster Mac and cheese was ok but again could've used some pepper, Brussels sprouts also lacked in flavor. We got a little mini dulce de leche cake horrible. Got a couple bags of popcorn .. burnt. Basically a complete waste of money and a very disappointing birthday dinner. Drinks were good tho!
It had been awhile since I had dined at Bourbon Steak.
So when a friend asked for me to make reservations for a last minute bday dinner I was happy to see that Bourbon Steak had availability on a busy Saturday night.Our server was incredibly nice and despite a few mix-ups with our order, she was extremely apologetic and so quick to remedy. She was also very thoughtful about ensuring that the bday girl had a candle on a dessert so that she could have a celebratory moment at the end of the meal. We loved the flights of complimentary truffle fries and delicious baked bread that was brought out as we waited for our appetizers. Honestly, I think we got a little too excited and filled up a bit more than intended on these. As for the food, it was not what I remembered. I ordered the octopus and it was tough and overly charred. I love octopus so much and am not too picky with it, so for me to leave any on the plate was uncommon. The lobster mac and cheese side we were sure would be a hit but found wasn't very flavorful and came out at room temperature . Also pretty rare for us to leave more than half of that uneaten and no one had any interest in taking the leftovers home. But the raw oysters and the brussel sprouts that we ordered were delicious!I'll definitely return, but this past visit was not really up to par. But like with any business, there will be ups and downs, good days, bad days and room for improvement so I'll certainly come back at a later time to check them out again.
Why this place doesn't have a Michelin Star, I don't know.
We've dined at six Michelin Star restaurants in the DMV, and this meets or exceeds the experience we had there.Ambiance - Beautiful! Located inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, you pass through the lobby, ornate art pieces, and a fresh flower display before entering the restaurant. The restaurant itself was also gorgeous.Customer Service - Second to none. The chef even came out and took pictures with us. Food - I ate bone marrow, y'all! I tried it at another restaurant before and didn't care for it. Here it was fantastic. This is probably the only restaurant where I would order it because I know they're going to prepare it well. There's so much to say about each individual dish. I'll just say that all the food was fantastic.Overall, I would go back....again and again. I don't know what the requirements are to receive a Michelin Star, but this place should get one!
I've eaten at the restaurant twice in the last few months.
I also have had two cancellations in the last few months. In December, I had a reservation for 6 people that was confirmed months in advance. I was called a day prior to be told the time did not work for the restaurant. Yesterday I received a call that my reservation in 3 days needed to be cancelled again because of a buy out of something. Both incidents required me to struggle to find another alternative. The woman who calls from the desk is rude and unhelpful and they clearly do not care about your business. Go to any other steakhouse.

Service and food have definitely gone down hill from the first time I visited. Took my 2 year old daughter here to celebrate her birthday this past weekend and I guess covid took a toll on this establishment as well. The restaurant still had the same vibe but the quality of food and service definitely took a hit. I was so excited to celebrate my daughter's birthday and this was such a disappointment. We were seated in an area that was close to a door that kept getting opened and closed. Like seriously did they read my note that it was a 2 year old we were there for and to sit us that close to the door when it was like 30 degrees out. Then we get our meals and my husband's ribeye tasted burnt and the mac and cheese wasn't even as great as it was 2 years ago. The only thing my daughter loved was the fries and the aioli which we asked could we have more of to go. The waiter said he would put some in the bag for us. We were ready to go and they came to get our plates to pack our food to go. It was the longest wait for them to bring us the bill. We were literally just sitting there. The entire time we weren't asked if we wanted refills on our drinks or anything. We get home and the next day we check our to go bag and we didn't have the aioli for my daughter or the creamed spinach that we hardly touched. Like seriously!! How do you not pack up all the food we ordered? Seriously one of the worst experiences ever! Will not be returning!!!
Good High End Steakhouse
The service was excellent and the food was very good. They served complementary french fries with three different dipping sauces as a complimentary appetizer. AT our table we ordered The Ribeye steak, lobster pot pie, lobster mac n cheese and a couple of sides. Everyone was pretty happy with their selections. Not sure if the price equates to a good value, but we enjoyed our evening. Great for a special occasion splurge!
Excellent service
We were overwhelmed with the amount of food served in this restaurant. They started with complimentary French fries that were so good you could not possibly eat just a couple! They were so good. We ordered caviar, oysters, lobster pot pie, and schnitzel. The food and service were amazing! Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy a culinary delight with exceptional service from this establishment. Bravo!!

3.) Finding the Reservation

* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
