Nice Visit to this Classic Restaurant
Nice to visit this classic restaurant. Food was good. Service was good and helpful. Bone marrow was exceptional. Queue may be long, but moves fast. Worth a visit at least once.
Felt like a cafeteria
Felt rushed with an overwhelming menu. Food was disappointing for all four of us. Waiter were very fast and impersonal. Would not go back.
Guess they only like locals
Not sure if they only want locals , if they are prejudiced or just plain rude but it is hands down the worst experience I've ever had in my 65 years . We (10 of us) were so looking forward to a night out with my tour group after a long day of tr
Eat where the locals go
Ate at this gem quite by accident as it was right next door to our Ibis Hotel. We went earlier than most so it was quite empty when we arrived, but it was totally full within 45 minutes. The food was very good. My husband had the steak tartar and sai
Fantastic!
This was the first restaurant we went to when we arrived in Lyon since it was recommended by the hotel and nearby. It is a beautiful restaurant, and the food was fantastic. It was the perfect introduction to Lyon!

Please do not trust the reviews on google or yelp for this restaurant. It is living off of past glories and sits nearly as empty as a tomb. The service is delayed and not in a good way. It took us an hour and a half to get our food and what a disap

Fabulous place .. we went early and there were very few people dining but when we left at 8.30 it was so busy. Wait staff brilliant, service prompt. Good food , although the steak was rather tough!

Classics can sometimes disappoint, but this place lives up to the hype! The place dates back to the 19th century, and I was told about it by friends of my parents' generation. They raved about the beautiful Art Nouveau decor and the food, and th

We came by early 715pm and had no trouble getting a table. We were six and they had us in a booth with a table for two placed alongside. The chairs were uncomfortable. Service was cheery and prompt. We ordered from a prix fixe menu. I had the pistac

We went on our first night in town. Solid food, feels like a realm taste of Lyon.
The food and service are excellent but the wait is a bit
The food and service are excellent but the wait is a bit long. Part of French culture, one cannot finished the meal until after 2+ hours.
This was the weirdest experience and probably quite unusual.
But for us, it was not great. We were able to walk in without a reservation, which was "great". It's the biggest restaurant I've ever seen. More like a fancy banquet hall that I counted about 400-500 seats. Insane. The waiter clea

Still wanted to give this place a try despite several negative reviews about wait, service, and food. Arrived after 9pm and had no wait line. Our waiter was very nice, even though we had a language barrier. The beer is not the best, but it's

Great place but it's loud and a birthday every 15 minutes or so . Must see tourist destination and in am area where dinner doesn't begin. Until 7pm, I was thrilled to get a table at 5pm
OMG what a scene! I love Brasserie George in Lyon.
The food is wonderful, the service incredible. We had the time of our lives. The whole scene is so fabulous. The place, the people, the ambiance. Very busy, no reservations! Show up at 7.15 PM and wait.......but if you are ever in Lyon, you must visi

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Brasserie Georges Lyon at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Brasserie Georges Lyon page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
    1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Brasserie Georges Lyon to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Brasserie Georges Lyon!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
