Very good Michelin recommended place for affordable price (Lunch Set)
Went there for their lunch set. You pay about 50 HKD and get a nice pot of rice topped by good amount of veggies / noodles / meat depending on your choice plus one drink. It's very tasty and flavored. Busy place at lunch time

I feel like this is somewhat of a local gem. We didn’t see any tourists upstairs, spent maybe $50 for 2 people and well over ordered and had plenty of drinks. It was semi hard to communicate with the staff but eventually we pointed to what we wanted and it was all fine. I give it 5 stars because it’s sort of a local fun cheap spot that has a fun little casual vibe.

This is a tough find for visitors, as the signage for the restaurant is all in Cantonese characters. However, if you get it - or spot the certificates inside the door! - it's well worth it. A good selection of local and general dishes with a strong Hunan touch, there is much to please the palate. But be advised: lots of strong, chilli flavours. Your taste buds will be well exercised by the end of your meal! Only criticism was the poor service. It took a local couple seated near us to tell the waitstaff that we had not been attended before anyone came near (they had arrived after us but were well into their meal before we were approached because they told the staff no one had come to us yet....It's hard to do that if your Cantonese isn't up to it!) Anyhow, the food was good when it came. Maybe the staff are shy of foreign visitors and afraid they won't understand. All resolved, however, with a few words in Cantonese, some gestures and plenty of smiles!
