Substandard food and service. Offensive politacal sloganing.
The pizza was cold and really bland. The service was slow. We had glasses and plates piling up on the table which weren't taken away while one bar member sat on a stool. Perhaps the owner should look at their priorities and improved the business rather than hoisting huge, offensive politcal slogans around the building.
Be the first to ReplyOxford's Best Breakfast!
Cafe Coco has been an Oxford jewel for over 25 years. You won't find a better place for a slice of Oxford in terms of atmosphere and feel. There's a varied menu of breakfast's, brunches, lunches and dinners. My favourite is the all day breakfast. I've eaten a few around Oxford in my time and Coco's is the best. Good quality, rustic and plentiful. Keep it up Coco - we need you in Oxford in more ways than one!!
Be the first to ReplyLovely atmosphere, average service and pizza
Ok pizzas - they are small but not too pricey. Good cocktails. What lets this place down is the service which was at best slow. Despite this, the place has a lovely cafe/bar atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, very slow service and unwelcomed "optional" service charge
The food was good, although the pizzas were a bit small, however the waiters were really slow to attend to use and to take our orders. The bad surprise came with the bill. The "optional" service charge was already included in the total price and we feld embarrassed to ask for it to be removed in front of the waiter. The service was slow and we were often ignored. Besides, it is not for the customers to directly pay a part of the staff's wages. I'd rather know from the start when reading the menu how much I will pay (with no extra add-ons). I will not come back.

Wonderful location on Cowley St. Was only a short walk from my B & B. Outdoor courtyard is great seating, especially on nice days. Shares the courtyard with “sister” restaurant Kazbar. Staff is courteous and food is delicious. Prices were reasonable. Food and drinks served pretty fast. I strongly recommend the Chorizo Pizza. I think I may have had it every day I was there!
Be the first to ReplyQuite little Place, Really Good Food!
My friends and I went as the last activity for my sisters hen do (we weren't rowdy at all, it was just a quiet lunch) and the food was amazing! We all got different things from the pizza to, trout salad, to the vegan hot dog/burger. The table service was amazing, all the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place, you get what you pay for
This is our little bolt hole when visiting our daughter at Uni. Can’t comment on the whole menu because the full English breakfast is so good I can’t bring myself to order anything else. Coffee is first class and pretty punchy… The staff are friendly and charming and it’s dog friendly. Lots to choose from on the Cowley Road and Oxford generally. But I def recommend. It’s not a budget place, but you get what you pay for.

Great food, great staff and great to sit in the sun again. The all day breakfast and the salads were yummy! Cocktail happy hour every day.

There once was a cafe named Coco Whose service rendered it a no-go The produce was sh*t, didn’t like it a bit The service charge was certainly a no-no

Fantastic meal, lovely venue and friendly service. Visited on a sunny day and sat outside, felt like a visit to Italy! Highly recommend

What a fantastic service from the Colombian gentleman called Felipe! Just popping in occasionally for a drink after work. He is always very charming, professional kind and polite. Learned my "usualls" after only a couple of visits. A massive treasure for the business. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Cool brunch spot
This is a lovely, really stylish cafe with lovely brunch options. I had a particularly nice waffle with fresh fruit. It was very well presented and extremely tasty.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and I would definitely come back here to try some more of the menu.
Excellent food, service and fruit juice!
Excellent food and fruit juice! We had the Vegetarian mezze and mergues salad to share - lovely food! The mint, pineapple, orange & lime juice drink - delicious! Service was exemplary, really attentive and friendly.
Be the first to ReplyGreat brunch spot in Oxford
This is a great little brunch spot. Even with 5 people we only had to wait about 15 mins for seating on a Sunday morning. The large menu is served all day which gives lots of options for everyone. I had the honey ham, eggs, and swapped my skinny fries for garlic potatoes. So yummy. We also had cappuccinos with oat milk. I’m normally not a fan but it was fantastic. Thanks Cathy for the great recommendation. The service was quick and lots of teamwork to make everything flow. I did notice a 10% service charge on all diners regardless of party size. Cathy is amazing btw! Thanks again!

Brilliant food and cocktails! I was here with my partner and had a wonderful time. I think our waitress was called Kathy and she was absolutely fantastic. So glad to have coco open again, missed it so much xx
Be the first to ReplyPerfect brunch
Stopped by for a brunch in the sun with our toddler. Service from start to finish was fantastic, despite them being busy, and they were super attentive. They offered a high chair, child friendly food/ drink and distractions for our toddler which made our lunch much more enjoyable & relaxing. Brunch options were good and food very tasty. The set up was covid friendly and we felt very safe being there. Thanks to the Team x
