The front desk host were very nice and welcoming.
However the old man with glasses who is the bartender was very rude, we came in to order drinks and we had a box of to go pizza from the previous place we ate at and the bartender was trying to kick us out for having it. We told them we aren't here but here for drinks however he kept motioning for us to leave. We then walked out and we told the host he was trying to kick us out because of the box but the host said it's okay as long as we don't eat here, so we ended up staying ordering our drinks.

I wanted to be more casual and enjoy the music and view at Piazza San Marco, so I had drinks and bites outside. The waiters were friendly, the bites were tiny but delicious, and the Aperol Spritz was perfect. I expected a hefty bill, and that, I got; but it was worth it.
Be the first to ReplyConsidering the price, nothing here was on par.
We did a full four-course tasting menu inside for dinner (280 euros!). Each course was served with four dishes. Of the 23 or so total dishes from this meal, I can't say a single one was memorable in any way. Some were plain bland, others completely undercooked (like the risotto), others extremely salty to the point of being inedible, and others just confusing to eat (for example, one pasta dish had all the pasta tightly wound together so you couldn't separate it into the 3-4 bites necessary to eat it easily). The plate sizing was disproportionate, with some dishes being huge and others being just a taste, making it difficult to pace. The waiter we had was respectful, kind, but difficult to get ahold of. I understand difficult to get ahold of is kind of an Italian thing, but when 90% of your customers are foreign, I think it's important to adjust a bit. The other supporting staff were nice, but frankly not dressed well for a high-caliber restaurant. Plates were not put down esthetically, silverware was not placed down neatly on the table between courses, nor were the crumbs from the previous dishes swept away until the dessert course.Almost all the food we had was on the "safe" side--pretty boring. There were a couple interesting things, like basil sorbet and some mixed-temperature vegetable dish, but they weren't executed well.Overall, probably the most disappointing Michelin star restaurant. I'm genuinely puzzled how they could get one with the quality of the food they presented us. At best, some of the better dishes could be served as "chef's choice" dishes at a cheaper restaurant.

Not worth the money or the Michelin *Whoever she was, she was combative, rude, then standoffish! I heard her being very pushy with other guests, too -the ones to my right and left. I personally discussed this with one of the groups downstairs while listening to music in the courtyard. Listen to your customers, don't force things on them OR be pushy with heavy opinions, and for God sake, never let your poor attitude ruin someone else's expensive evening!!!The food, well, it was okay, subpa actually, especially for the $$$$ I mean, if you're looking for a 3-hour meal and to blow off money, go for it, but the experience we had was not enjoyable, quite uncomfortable actually, and it lasted for three hours, which felt like a really bad casino experience.

Wanted to sit in the plaza and needed to order - plus my niece wanted gelato. She thought it was delicious but the pigeons are BAD! It doesn't help when customers feed them.

Well worth every euro!!! Well appointed cafe with unparalleled views of people and piazza San Marco. We sat inside due to cold weather but the experience was sophisticated and enjoyable. We tried the rich hot chocolate (milk and chocolate served in separate containers--perfect if you have a dairy allergy); the crust less, soft sandwiches filled with fresh ingredients like salmon, avocado or tuna; coffee delights; lovely tea setting. Fabulous presentation of all menu items. Helpful service for those of us who don't speak a lick of Italian. :) I imagine this place will rival the famous long standing Caffe Florian across the way. (We didn't make it to Florian this time bc it was closed for a private event. )

I felt like a VIP from the moment we walked in on Sunday, November 21, 2021, for our 8 PM reservation. At first, it can be intimidating being at such a fine and elegant restaurant, but the entire staff made us feel so welcome. My husband and I went to the restroom, I came out first and was looking around for him, and a team member was so animated and lively and held out his arm in such a way that had me smiling. I wish could remember everyone's names. Our primary server (he said that he was coming to the US) took the time to explain the courses and he, along with everyone, provided exceptional service. They are located on the 2nd floor overlooking St Mark's Square. When we left, our server met us downstairs to say goodbye.Every course just kept getting better, and to be in such a historic location was incredible. The night before, we had gone to another MICHELIN-starred restaurant, and when I return to Venice and only had time for one meal, Quadri would be my absolute choice.

ordered TRAMEZZINO NONNO VITTORIO Whipped stockfish, anchovies, lettuce, Tropea onions in balsamic vinegar, tomato and oregano mayonnaiseSPRITZClassico (Aperol or Campari, prosecco, soda water)about 30 euro.tasty fish, anchovies, (not too salty), dressing was smooth , creamy but not oily not heavy , fresh lettuce n tomato, every ingredient blend well, the bread was lightly toast, very well made.it was my very first SPRITZ, not sweet as fruity wine, but sweeter than the dry white. it is a nice summer drink.**the food was served with a metal cover. nuts in a jar.interestingly presented.the seagull n pigeon will stop by your table , n attempt to have a bite.there was one server was holding a plastic bottle and spray toward the "birds" and hopefully preventing them from disturbing the customer.

What's a horrible place!!!We sat, ordered food and my wife went to the restroom. On the way there she was passing the reception and stopped by a guy who was yelling at her "It is not a public restroom". Trying to explain him that she was a customer didn't take any effect - "you need to have a ticket!!". What? Nobody told us that! Our waiter was looking at that and did nothing! She returned back crying due to the rudeness and the whole day for her for screwed! Also, the food was ridiculously overpriced and was just bad: glass of wine €14, bottle of water €11, tiny pizza €21. Wtf?!Pass it. Find something better.
Be the first to ReplyI went to the cafe and bar section.
The menu there is almost all drinks with a few food items.Prices are ridiculous. 12 euro cup of tea. 5 euros for the smallest bottle of water I've ever seen.Really bad tiny pizza for 20.Tourist trap.Calice, a block away is a much better bet. Tastier food, sane prices.

Our table overlooked Piazza San Marco, beautiful view. The food was perfect and the service too. All of the staff were great, especially Katya. They really made us feel welcome. We will be back.

Fantastic! This restaurants is a gem! It is one of the best restaurants in Venice. It's not cheap, but it's well worth it. The view is amazing, the food is delicious and creative, the waiters are very sweet. So if you're looking for a romantic place to take your lady for dinner this restaurant would the the best choice!

NO! I've never had bad Italian food in Italy until this place. Moreover everyone was rude and acted like my family's presence annoyed them. -- from the time we walked in the door. They obviously do good business because of their location (with all the tourists). Portions microscopically small and inversely proportional to the price! I tell you Chef Boyrdee spaghettios would be better.
Be the first to ReplyAn excellent dinner.
Food and service was excellent, very deserving of their Michelin Star.Quadri has a cafe and a restaurant, this review is for the restaurant.

I give this place two stars but it doesn't even deserve that. It was decent at best. Everyone was nice and the drinks were fine but the prices are more expensive than anything I've had at even the finest Michelin starred restaurants anywhere else in the world. When I asked them how they feel they could charge $20(US) dollars for a cappuccino, they blamed the location. In my opinion, if you want an overpriced drink or meal, this is the place for you! Otherwise, stay clear.
