Went to Carbonara for a weekend lunch and had a great experience! Every table is served bread at the beginning of the meal with marinara sauce which was delicious. I appreciated having the sauce to dip the bread in rather than the typical butter spre

This was hands-down the best chicken Parmesan I ever had! The chicken was crisped to perfection and the sauce was so good and creamy. It was super crowded in there and we didn't have a reservation, but the bartender made space for my mom and I.

overall, my visits here have been good, the bar can be fun depending on the crowd, food is good but expensive, a theme that plagues Ballston
Cheesy cheesy cheesy.
This is slutty American Italian food. We've been trying to get a reservation here for months and they were always booked, so of course I had to understand the hype. But alas; overrated in my opinion. The food was good but sheeesshh can we ease u

All the way from TX. HTTR!! This place popped up on top spots so we had to try it. When we got there the wait was about 1hr and half. We were thinking of just going somewhere else but im glad we didn't. It was about 30 min but definitely wort
We literally just ate here.
I was so excited to go. Im so disappointed! The waiter was inattentive and didnt have any knowledge of the menu. My espresso martini was mainly milk. The wine was actually excellent and the antipasta. But the carbonara is just ok. My husband
We ordered via takeout.
The service was great over the phone. We were excited to try this placed based on reviews in various publications. Every dish missed the mark. There is nothing tasty or special about what this restaurant creates. I'm convinced that most people

Average food, decent wine
Good: Decent wine by the glass selection. Large pours. Large portions. Good pasta. Friendly service. Outdoor seating. Nearby. Poor: Cold, soft bread. Overly rich, not particularly tasty food choices. Expensive. Summary: There are better choices.

Overhyped.
Why would they have a seat and table by a walkway where people come and go. It's an annoyance and a safety hazard. The person sitting on the outside gets their chair leg stubbed on, people almost tripping, a staff may drop food. I may have to re

Oh man! Definitely one of my favorite Italian spots in the area. I feel like their food is really fresh and their dessert menu is to die for!
**This rating is highly skewed by their service.
** Usually, if restaurants find out that you're celebrating a birthday, they'll give you some small complimentary dessert or simply send you away with well wishes if they don't offer anything physical. Carbonara led us to believe that
Food was fresh and tasty.
Service was as quick as they can as we requested the carbonara made table side and had a nice conversation with the server. Overall the famous chicken parm was delicious, the carbonara was not a disappointment. We enjoyed the big cheese wheel. The pr
This visit was largely positive.
Unfortunately I found the orecchiette only ok. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery and while the sauce tasted awesome, there wasn't enough of it in the dish and it was too dry. Other people loved their dishes, such as the vodka sauce. I'd

I love Carbonara!! Every time that I go, it's always a great experience. Last night I sat at the bar with two friends and Cody gave us excellent service. His Hugo Spritz was amazing and he always has good recommendations for new drinks to try. Y
Mediocre all around
I really can’t understand the rave reviews given for this place. The food was mediocre and the service slow and desultory. I ordered the octopus, and when it came out burnt and chewy, I was told it was “charred” and that is the only way they k
The foodie Sopranos episode. New Jersey Italian meets Clarendon.
I really got a kick out of Carbonara. Amazing good. Best Caesar salad I have ever had. Fresh salad and lush Caesar’s sauce. Not at all fishy. The 70’s lounge singer pumps the volume up. The veal Parm with Vodka sauce and it presentation was magic
BRAVO!

Excellent Italian in Arlington
Finally visited Carbonara after hearing others sing it's praises. I'm eager to return and try more dishes, but the satisfaction level of our party was high enough that I am comfortable writing a strong review. The appetizers started the e

This restaurant is a unique experience. I didn't do the cheese wheel but it looked great and the show was good at the table next to me. The food and drinks were really good

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Carbonara Arlington at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Carbonara Arlington page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Carbonara Arlington to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Carbonara Arlington!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
