I have visited CK twice for lunch.
Loved the menu and the fusion dishes. Each one flavorful and worth licking your plate with the naan bread. From the prawns to the chicken masala, everything was done right. My colleagues enjoyed the experience as well.

We went here as a large group with children and went for the nice course taster. The food overall was really good particularly the, prawns, chicken and lamb biryani. It was priced very reasonably and we will definitely go back. The service similarly was excellent and our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. No children's menu but there are child friendly dishes.

This place was awesome!! Sat outside and there was a DJ playing and such great ambience.... The food was fantastic... It was Indian food but with a different twist that was great.... The drinks, albeit very creative, were definitely lacking in terms of alcohol and content... I had the Saag Paneer and it was outstanding. My wife has the lamb, which was tender and delicious... I had the date pancakes for desert, which were super yummy... The place is a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for... Highly recommended!!!
Be the first to Reply3 of us ate here.
3 of us got deathly ill from food poisoning. We all shared the same plates. Stay away! Poor food quality control.

I'll be u honest she really talked it up but although the meal was really good I didn't walk out thinking I'd had anything too special. I had heard so much about Indian food in London so maybe my expectations were just way too high.We had the lamb and chicken entrรฉes a couple of the sides and it's the mixed bread. As I said all were great so I don't want to come off as thinking that the food wasn't delicious it just wasn't an out of body experience.Sorry I wasn't in a position to take pictures as I was out with a work colleague. The service was like a good Ref and didn't play a part in the dinner. In the what I come here again category I'll rack it up to I'll go somewhere else try other Indian foods first but I wouldn't tell anybody not to go there.

I wish I could comment on the food but unfortunately the hostess was so rude upon arrival that we didn't get to eat. I asked for a table for 2 when we arrived and was told there were none despite my being able to see two empty tables at a quick glance. I offered to wait a few minutes for a table to open to which the hostess said "ok but I have no idea what's going on in the dining room so I'll need a few" so I stepped to the side. The hostess went back to chatting with a friend at the desk. I waited about 10 minutes and in that time 6 patrons came for their coats. The hostess would not stop talking to her friend. The patrons retrieved their own coats and left. The hostess finally stepped away from her friend and I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was checking for a table - there were now several empty that could easily be seen from the entry way. I waited a few more minutes but the hostess never returned. Assuming she didn't wish to seat me, I left and went down the street to another restaurant.

Be the first to ReplyI reserved table for two ppl in Cinamon Kitchen yesterday
I reserved table for two ppl in Cinamon Kitchen yesterday lunch time. The cloakroom service was one of the few positives.First, I was waiting to being served (got the manu) for 15 minutes. Then, when I finally ordered my lunch, after 45 minutes I got a starter which was for another table. Then, the waiter brought me not the main dish I ordered, it was for my colleague. He had to wait another 10 minutes so my dish would be delivered as well. In total I spent 1,5 hour for 2 courses lunch. Too much chaotic for me. Although food quality was good, I would not recommend this place during peak hours.
Be the first to ReplyFood was prepared very well.
ย Everyone enjoyed their meal, prices were to be expected. ย Portion sizes were a little smaller than I hoped for, but really enjoyed this place and will be back.

It is expensive but a very good meal - been in Oxford back and forth from NYC and I had given up on getting a good meal. ย This is exceptional.
Be the first to ReplyBoo! This place swindled me into buying 11.
50 worth of a "bread and chutney" sampler after I had already got my own naan. Yes maybe I was naive! But my jaw literally dropped when I saw the bill. When someone eating alone orders naan and an entree they simply do not need 11.50 more pounds worth of naan so don't offer it to them like it's this awesome free thing! Perhaps I am a fool but the food wasn't even that good. Like it was good but for the price I would go literally anywhere else. Plus I'm still mad.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food and great service.
I had the tandoori trio with garlic naan which was wonderful and was the perfect amount of food for one person. My husband had the pork ribs and loved them. The drinks were great and everyone was really nice. Overall I had a great experience. Not sure what people are complaining about in the other reviews but this is a great stop for Indian flavor!
Be the first to ReplyThis was a nice place to entertain clients.
The location is unique and the food was great. The service was a little slow but well worth the wait. The wine list was large but not overly large the food was prepared beautify and the flavors really jumped. I really enjoyed dinner and will return.

Staying local for work and looking for a something different to pub and burger.Ate by myself and was happily surprised by food. Was expecting something overly sauced but tandoori chicken, trio of dal and naan were great. Spicy but subtle tandoori with lovely texture combined ย with moorish dal and naan, topped off by crisp pint of kingfisher very relaxing way to end day. Good crowd in restaurant with attentive but not overbearing staff. This Australian visitor happy to recommend to others.
