Committee Boston Reviews from The Last Year
This was recommended to me by my hotel receptionist while
This was recommended to me by my hotel receptionist while staying in the seaport area for a conference. The review is for the cocktails only- unfortunately the kitchen had closed by the time I arrived although the menu looked to be promising. It's definitely a winner for your preferred poison!!! Some of the most interesting cocktails I've ever tried, with very unique ingredients and very fun names, whose origin stories would probably be just as intriguing. As a Virgo, I had to try the cocktail of the same moniker and really loved it- the hibiscus flavor really popped. The "if you ain't first..." was definitely a first for me in terms of flavor- hard to describe but it sure was one of a kind. Barkeeps were a bit distracted but friendly enough. The scene was dark lounge. Be prepared to amass a fair charge for these drinks, although you won't be displeased.
My wife and I tried Sunday brunch at Committee this past
My wife and I tried Sunday brunch at Committee this past weekend. We ordered the strawberry shortcake pancakes, Greek omelette, and lamb hash. The lamb sweet potato hash was really tasty and had a great flavor. The omelette was kind of bland but the roasted potatoes had a nice crisp and season. The shortcake pancakes were nice and fluffy and great for sharing. It is definitely on the pricier side for brunch but the atmosphere and service were good as well as the food.
Amazing experience overall.
Good food, good people, good ambiance. It was my first time here and I will be coming back. We got the zucchini crisps, lamb meatballs, patatas bravas, and the feta. For drinks we got a fabulous all natural Greek white wine and 2 of their unique cocktails. Our waitress was amazing and sang our friend happy birthday for her 21st. And we got a complimentary dessert!! Can't wait to come back for more.
Mixed Feelings
Committee offers a vibrant atmosphere and passable food, but falls short of delivering a memorable experience. The restaurant's modern take on Greek cuisine and welcoming ambiance may appeal to some, but it ultimately failed to impress. Suitable for yuppies, vegans, and hipsters, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. Extended Review: Situated on the Boston waterfront, Committee draws inspiration from modern-day "ouzeri" found throughout Greece, promising a lively and inviting dining experience. The restaurant aims to be a gathering place where conversation flows freely and sharable plates delight and satisfy. While the concept is intriguing, my experience at Committee left much to be desired. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with a vibrant energy that sets the stage for a memorable meal. The menu, featuring Greek meze, offers a range of options suitable for various dietary preferences, including vegan choices. However, while the food was decent and the service commendable, it failed to leave a lasting impression. As someone who appreciates good food and a lively atmosphere, I had high hopes for Committee. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. While the restaurant may appeal to yuppies, vegans, and hipsters looking for a trendy dining spot, it may not resonate with those seeking a more hearty or memorable culinary experience. While Committee has its merits, including a welcoming ambiance and okay food, it ultimately failed to capture my interest. It's a place that may cater to a specific crowd but may not be the best choice for those seeking a truly exceptional dining experience.
Came alone asked security in the back to watch my stuff
Came alone asked security in the back to watch my stuff while I'm in the bathroom. Came out and security is on IT! Fan Friggen tastic service of a guy taking my seat and drinking my beer! Security Politely asking them to leave without issue. Loved it.

Last week, on March 6th, I went to committee meeting and lost my passport there. I am coming from Tahiti, which is very far from Boston, and my visa is in my passport. Realizing the gravity of the situation, I immediately called them the next day. They informed me it was there; we had a thorough exchange to confirm it was indeed my passport (European, with specific details only I could provide). The relief I felt was immense. Unfortunately, I was only able to come to the restaurant yesterday March 14th to pick it up and once I arrived, they told me they couldn't find it and that they were going to "look around" to try to find it, I gave them my number so they could provide me with an update. Today I reached out again for an update since there was complete silence on their end. But what I encountered was beyond shocking. The manager's attitude was the peak of rudeness. Despite explaining that their team had acknowledged finding my passport, I was met with cold, dismissive responses. 'Someone probably threw it away,' he said casually, as if it was nothing. I was stunned. How could someone just 'throw away' something as crucial as a passport? His chilling reply, 'I've seen people do worse,' only added to my shock. Also, the absurd suggestion that my passport might have been 'mistaken for a credit card' or lost in their 'messiness' is not just bewildering but utterly unacceptable. How can such negligence and lack of empathy even be real? I understand this is not the restaurant's responsibility if I have lost my passport there, but this isn't just about a lost passport anymore. In the hospitality industry, where care and service should be paramount, I was shocked by the lack of basic human empathy and professionalism from someone in a position of responsibility. The manager's behavior wasn't just unhelpful; it was outright disrespectful and dismissive of a serious situation.

Second time here for brunch and was better than the first! The shakshouka is always a must, the banana bread toast was so yummy, my boyfriend LOVED the lamb burger, loved the potatoes that came with it, and we got complimentary muffins that were also great! Came here as a birthday brunch celebration and the service was so sweet! Atmosphere is great to catch up with friends, a lot of lighting with the big windows. Would want to try their dinner menu next!
Good mix of mezzes.
Love the eggplant and spinach pie was done differently with no layers of filling but a moist spinach mound encased by pastry. Good drinks but very loud and so crowded. Not a place to really talk.
When we showed up to Committe the doorman was super rude.
He told us to wait in line in the rain when there was literally no one in the club. When we asked him about it, he yelled at us, jumped out of the doorway, almost getting in our face. The music also sounded terrible. I would suggest going to Scorpion Bar next door. Better music and the staff are really nice.

Welcome to the bizarro land of Seaport where the traditional considerations of cost and return is deemed irrelevant and the roads are planned for cars and lobby couches. In this twilight zone of a neighborhood, supermarket hummus becomes $16, a half plate of overcooked lamb becomes a "feast" and an empty, uninspired bar is constantly "at capacity". Witness servers who probably get paid less than the hummus costs (which maybe isn't that bizarro...) take it out on customers. Be shocked as those customers continue to come back and give this place better ratings than the goddamn museum they came for. Be amazed as an absolutely fantastic cuisine is bleached of everything that makes it interesting and served up at $40 a plate. And then, you know, stay away forever. How is this place still around?
Terrific Lunch Choice
Committee offers excellent Greek food in a stylish setting in the Seaport. Service is very good, and prices are quite reasonable. The only negative is that it can get very loud at Committee, but this is a place to which I will happily return.
Interesting experience here on a recent Saturday night.
I came in a group of 8, and despite there being open tables, we were asked to form a line in front for about 10 minutes... I'm assuming to maybe make it look like it was busier? Once we got inside and found a table, we got drinks. They were decent, but nothing special. I had gotten the Wonka Chocolate PB one which I assumed would be sweet with notes of peanut butter but really was just a whiskey on the rocks. Still good, but not what I was expecting.

The food is ALWAYS good! We like to sit at the bar, but it's nice to sit at the regular tables as well. The service is always good, very attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a fun feel, great for a date, dinner with friends, or a drink with coworkers.
Disappointed with poor service
We booked our table ahead of time and were promptly seated at the back of the restaurant. Dark place. We ordered appetizers to share and a bottle of white wine. The wine tasted moldy. It was changed. Our server was nice. He was not very knowledgeable on the wines and kept saying yes to our questions but yes was not the answer. We tried the meatballs, Brussel sprouts, zucchini chips, beretta dish. All very nice. We were happy to relax and enjoy the food but the staff kept wanting to take our plates and clear our table when we were not ready. That happened at least 4 times in the end we decided to go somewhere else. At that time in his haste the server was clearing my plate and dropped my knife leaving tzatziki on my jumper. Not nice when you are traveling out of town and had planned to wear it again. Plus there was no apology or anything. Not a place I would visit again. Boston has plenty more authentic places. Save your money go somewhere else.
Didn't eat on my visit, but had a blast at the bar.
Great drinks in an unbeatable location.

The food at committee was delicious! There were lots of options for shared place so it's a great place to go with a group and try a bunch of things. The drinks are also very good and interesting with unique flavor combinations, but are quite expensive ($18+ per drink). There is a lot of sitting and communal tables, which provided a nice ambiance but isn't the most comfortable seating. Some of the seating is in low couch like seats which look nice but are hard to eat from. The bar area is also a very nice vibe - it's crowded but not too loud and it's very possible to have conversations. The service was great - I've never had my water filled as fast or as many times!
TURNED AWAY FOR NO REASON.
I walked into Committee on a Tuesday night after a late class. I was starving and really craving Greek. I walked in and asked if the kitchen was still open, the hostess said yes and that I should check out the bar. I went to the bar, looked for a seat and realized it was full. I then went back to the hostess and told her the bar was full and asked for a table. She insisted that tables were only for parties of two. The restaurant had around 6 tables of customers and there were at least 20 open tables I could have been seated at. I asked again politely and she said she would ask her manager. I watched her walk over to the manager and pose the question and then watched them all snicker and laugh before the hostess came back and said her manager insisted only parties of two could be sat. I was a big fan of Commitee until this. They effectively turned down money for no reason. I felt extremely disrespected and, frankly, their staff acted like bullies. I would not recommend this place at all.
Great family friendly place with wonderful staff!
All staff were wonderful! We walked in without a reservation and they were so accommodating to us with 4 adults and a toddler. Got us a high chair when they could and kept us updated the whole time while we waited. Our server Rueben (not sure of spelling) was fantastic, so friendly, and attentive topping up Prosecco and checking everything was good for our entire visit! Food was incredible, all round a great place with great staff. Will definitely be back.
Rude hipster manager
This restaurant is a joke ! We were sat with our 4 month old puppy in a puppy bag. The hostess saw him, the waiter saw him , they let us order and once we got our food we got kicked out by the rude hipster manager. I get it if they are not dog friendly , but tell us before you take our money. Oh, and clean up your bathrooms.
Tasty and Trendy!
We really enjoyed Committee! The ambiance was fun and trendy, and the food was good. We ordered the feta with a pita on the side, the beet salad, the zucchini crisps, one bao bun and one fish taco. That was plenty for two people. The feta was delicious and definitely my favorite! Also really enjoyed the zucchini crisps. I would say the other items were solid and tasty but didn’t blow me out of the water (hence 4 stars instead of 5). The meal came in at around $120 total with gratuity, and that also included one cocktail and one mocktail. I felt like the cost was fairly reasonable for a dinner out in the Seaport neighborhood. Overall I would recommend Committee!
Feta cheese and zucchini chips. A must try!
As soon as I sit down at Committee I always order their zucchini chips and the feta cheese with honey; and then I open the menu to decide what to eat next. Don’t leave without trying it. Everything else usually turns out to be good. Well except… I suggest having dessert elsewhere. Just a block away you can get the fun Taiyaki NYC ice cream or if you want to stick to the Greek theme, go to Greco for good loukoumades (Greek style donuts). Same owners as Committee. Other items ordered: Trio of Dips feta, cucumber, tomato, mango, onion, mint, capers, dakos crumble carrot tzatziki, almond kopanisti, Greek salsa, served Souvlaki marinated lamb, rigani, lemon, tzatziki Chicken Keftedes chicken meatballs, kritharaki, English peas, grated mizithra Onion and Tomato Pie phyllo, caramelized onion, tomatoes, thyme, manouri, halva mousse Still... the Committ33 Mul3 2.0.2.1 vodka, mango, saffron, ginger beer, bitters

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
