I went in for take away at 6pm
I walked in exactly at 6pm on Sunday 26th to order take way. There were only 3 tables full and rest of restaurant was empty, I asked for a menu and was told they couldnโt serve me until 7pm, I said itโs take away, she said no and promptly shushed me out the door! WTF I go there all the time. Not now! Sorry for not being a Jewโฆ..

We are visiting from US and my girlfriend is Hungarian. This was the most delightful surprise of our trip. The food was so delicious and well presented. Familiar yet new. Each bite from Langos to dessert wine was a treasure. And the staff was like family. We were so fortunate to find Corner 75.

We were fortunate to get an early booking here and got the table by the window. The food was all amazing and good value. The lรกngos bread is so tasty. We also enjoyed the dry white white.
Be the first to Replynice food, and good prices
I went there in 2019 september for my birthday. Great food, and service was nice, little maybe uptight for my liking. I had the snitzel, was a very generous portion, and some palinka. The music was my only issue, with spotify there are so many amazing playlists they could play, in background. I remember it being some annoying music, but apart of that nice memory.

We wanted to try this place for my birthday dinner after watching this place appeared on the SBS food safari and many thumbs up raving reviews.. wow the place is a piece of history and instantly offered us homely warmth.. Dishes we ordered were nothing of pretentious and we felt they were made of lots of love and authenticity.. Paul, the manager also presented us with a hand written birthday card, which was so kind and considerate and others who served us and sang the birthday song for our table were really lovely, attentive and pleasantly friendly.. This place is a must visit and please make sure you leave enough room for their outstanding desserts like cherry strudel or home made crepe!!

WE ARE SOOOO COMING BACK!!! What a great cute spot! Whether u got a group or want to have a couples meal its soooo nice! Although, i am not big on eating hot food in summer, the gulash here is awesome and i just had some amazing home gulash in Hungary:))) Ducking was moist and all the food was fantastic!! A bit large dishes but dont worry, place is happy to pack it up for you. We are coming back as there are more dishes we want to try and i am still hoping to get to strudel!:))) Owner is a funny guy but we will get you back - he caught us off guard:) staff are friendly adn they do byo wine but drinks selection is good as well. Really cant fault this place but come and try for yourself.
Be the first to ReplyOver 3o years we are keep coming back
Restaurant changed many hands in the past 3o years. Present owner and chef are doing a good job cooking and presenting the Hungarian dishes, but International meals are also available, in equally good quality. Service was friendly, a bit patchy at the beginning, but after ironed out the misunderstandings, was smooth. Price range good, overall variety is good, bigger, than the trendy places.

I ordered a meal and was served something completely different. When I complained I was told that it was retribution for the organiser not booking the right number of people. My wife and I will never go back to this restaurant. Their attitude to resolving customer issues is appalling. The food is ordinary and service surly.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Hungarian experience!
I hadn't been here for a few years and decided to try it again, and we weren't let down. The restaurant is cosy, with traditional Hungarian decorations. The staff are professional and knowledgable, they have a good wine list, and the food is superb! Best langost I've eaten. Also the best cherry duck I've ever eaten.
