Beware!!!! There is a manager by the name of David, who works at Council Oaks, and who acts like a reining dictator of this establishment. As someone who has been going to Council Oaks for over seven years pre-Covid, I have never seen anyone act in such a degrading manner towards patrons. He does not deserve to have the title of Manager in a place that is considered to be Fine-Dining. A waitress made a mistake and seated me and my guests at a table that was already reserved by someone else, this manager decided to tell me and my guest to leave from our seats, while he offered no other seating options to us as a solution. While we tried to explain that we were told to sit there by the waitress, he threatened to put us out of Council Oaks for not "cooperating". To make matters worse, he called security and asked security to put us out of the establishment when we tried to reason with him a little longer than he preferred. As a manager, it was David's job to seat us, but he was nowhere to be found when we walked in the doors. We waited 15 minutes for our table to be cleaned, only to have David tell us that we could not sit there. David decided to make a public spectacle of himself to prove a point in front of many other customers, while he demanded that we leave the table or get put out of the venue by security. Furthermore, David would not let the bartender or security try to diffuse the situation, he was convinced that putting us out of the establishment was the best solution for his peace of mind. His public display of aggression, loud and condescending behavior and tone would shock any guest if they knew how easily this matter could have been resolved with a much more professional and considerate manager in many other restaurants. Think about this, Fine-Dining, slow night, several empty tables available to offer as a solution to keep all customers happy, and you have an angry manager with the audacity to put patrons out of the establishment as a solution to a mistake that an employee of his did regarding something as simple as seating arrangement protocols. Unbelievable.
