A must try! Best in country
The best restaurant in the country ! Delicious chicken parm with blush sauce and chocolate pizza for dessert ! We always go whenever we are in town.
Be the first to ReplyOverall a good experience!
We came to Craig’s visiting from Michigan after seeing all the TikTok’s about it. The server was friendly. the ambience was lovely. The food was solid, but the service overall was quite slow. We were a family of 8 and the dinner took over an hour to come out. About an hour and 15 minutes in fact. With a 2 year old, waiting that long was not easy. The wine pours are on the smaller side, especially if you’re from the Midwest. Craig, the owner was fabulous and came around to each table. Very friendly. The total bill ended up being around $850 for the 8 of us, not bad over the holidays. We would recommend, yes, but be patient and don’t come super hungry.
Be the first to ReplyThe place to go if you want to come out relaxed having had an enjoyable evening
They are friendly and welcoming and go the extra mile to help. Food is excellent and ambience good. Craig and Patricia were particularly nice
Be the first to ReplyLoving Craig’s
The honey truffle chicken was wonderful (and we live in Georgia), and so was the Tagliatelle Truffle Bolognese. Our waiter was amazing. I’m so bad at remembering people’s names but he’s a very funny guy, born in Georgia, lived in New York, with thick beautiful dark hair. He did all the accents for us in one conversation for us. He’s a rockstar. He made my son and my first time at Craig’s so much fun and we will be back this weekend on our next visit to LA, bringing more people with us!
Be the first to ReplyAvoid at all costs
Happened to be in LA and decided to visit this place. Boy was is disappointed. Made a reservation for 8pm walked i with my 22 year old son who also sort of forced me to go to this hyped up place. All went well sat at our table. The waiter asked us for our drink oder etc. All went well. While we were were waiting a gentleman by the nameZack came to our table started to talk to us, he was extremely intoxicated. He just talked and talked about nothing. Apparently Zack is a regular. The appetizer calamari arrived within 5 mins it was nothing special, just average or even below average. I ordered the filet. I have eaten steak all over the planet and this was sub par. Nothing special, sort of like an Outback steak. My son had Chicken Parm it was average as well not worth the hype. Dessert was also sub par. I guess people come here to make themselves feel good and act like they are celebs. There was no Celebs present as there were not paparazzi present outside. Again if you like fake and smoke and mirrors this place is for you. As for me I will never return as i can can get a better meal some place else in LA. I really dont understand why people come to this place.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food, even better service!
If I could give it six stars I would! Firstly I’d like to mention our server Kelby who was keen, friendly, attentive and couldn’t have done more to make our experience so enjoyable. We have visited Craig’s several times now but this time I just had to make sure that I left a review! As always, complements to the chef for making amazing gluten-free options which taste just like the real thing! All staff are so friendly and accommodating here and the atmosphere outside is beautiful. Would highly recommend the key lime martini cocktail for dessert!
Be the first to ReplyBest place in LA
This place is a throwback to when service meant something and customers were treated with respect. Outstanding and fantastic all around. We were treated with priority and given our table not too long after we arrived, even though it was very very busy. The outdoors patio is a great atmosphere and our server was very very attentive and on top of things. The food was excellent. We were not forced to buy drinks we didn’t want. We were not forced to order more food than we wanted. We were made to feel comfortable and everything was impeccable. The valet SPRINTED to go get our car. This was the best service and meal I’ve had in LA, by far
Be the first to ReplyGood Italian
Great romantic Italian restaurant. Not super high end food but all good and tasty. Interesting wine list, great service.
Be the first to ReplyCan’t fault anything
just an amazing experience from start to finish. I was visiting here from London with my friend after hearing the hype about the place and it exceeded all expectations. Frank the manager was so friendly and checked on us throughout the night, we met Craig who was walking around meeting everyone and our waitress Kelby (not sure of spelling :) ) was just incredible. food was amazing and so were drinks, music and atmosphere. We will be back!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Dinner
We had an amazing time dining here at Craig's. Our server Alex was so friendly and helpful. The food here was so delicious, and so filling. We were very happy with our meal and definitely recommend checking it out!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, atmosphere, service!
We sat on the patio for dinner at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Be sure to book your reservation as soon as it becomes available. Two weeks in advance. There is valet parking or parking on the street. It is a very busy part of Los Angeles. There is lots of activity. Our food was excellent, although pricey. Several birthdays were being celebrated. A very nice place to celebrate a special occasion. You may even see a celebrity or two. Craig, the owner, came up to our table to visit with us, which was quite special! I had the honey truffle chicken, others had filet mignon, margherita pizza, chicken parmigiana, shared truffle fries, twice baked potato. Drink menu is extensive. Desserts looked very good. Next time.

Went for my fathers birthday party. Servers were excellent and polite. Starters were excellent. I ordered the New York steak which was cooked well but did need more sauce
Be the first to ReplyAmazing
Such an amazing dining experience. The owner, Craig, came by each table to chat with clients. The food was superb…. Particularly the Cioppino was to die for. There was a spicy shrimp pasta as well, that was amazing. All the appetizers were great. Amazing service and definitely a place I’d return to in a heartbeat.
Be the first to ReplyFun Experience and Great Food
Had a really lovely time at Craig's. The atmosphere is cozy and joyful, everything we ate and drank was delicious and the service was absolutely fantastic. Our waiter was so friendly, warm and relaxed yet slick and professional. A fantastic experience and I would love to return.
Be the first to ReplyFun, no pretense, great service and wonderful food
A bit of a wait for our reservation but the hosts were amazing and gave us complimentary appetizers. Wonderful, chill atmosphere - no pretense whatsoever and it’s obvious why this is such a hot spot. Food was great and worth the money. We will return.
Be the first to ReplyHad not been in LA for 2+ years.
Previously frequent visitor to Craigs. Peter your host is terrific. We were offered a choice of back or main room. We chose the main and it was an error. It was very noisy (we are older folks). The food was almost the same as 2+ yrs ago and, as always, well prepared. Our waiter Brian did a solid job, Would I go back to Craigs ... probably only every other night. Great place.
Be the first to ReplyMy fave when in LA!
I had been to Craig's on my last visit to LA in 2019 but only for drinks. I booked a table for me and 3 friends to have dinner this time. When we arrived we were taken to the rear patio which I didn't see last time and presume it was built around covid to accommodate outdoor dining. It doesn't feel like you're part of the restaurant at all so we asked if we could move and luckily they let us. The actual restaurant itself has a really nice buzz and the thrill of looking out for a celeb in LA is always a treat too! Food was actually delicious and we said out best evening meal whilst in LA. Will be back again on my next visit and a special shout out to security McGhee who is always nice and remembers me everytime!
Be the first to ReplyOld School Hollywood
Had a fun evening at Craig's which is sort of a cool fun old school restaurant in Hollywood. Major hub for celebrity citing with great service and good food.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent, going back tonight
Booked in at Craig’s, had a great seat, excellent service from the waiter, Craig makes the effort to come around the tables and say hello. Food was excellent and loved the vibe. It was chilled but up market and pleasant. Looking forward to going back tonight. Fair few paps outside but also strong security presence outside
Be the first to ReplyPaparazzi outside, good food inside, save time for parking
Craig's in WeHo is a celebrity hangout. Food was pretty solid, but drink menu was a little limited (no beers on draft!) and the service was VERY slow. Nice semi-covered patio in the back which was a bit loud because it seemed everyone was having a birthday meal (complete with dessert pyrotechnics).
Be the first to Replyvery hollywood
If you’re looking for a place to see celebrities then this is the place for you. Drinks are pricey and the food is ok.
Be the first to ReplyNever been treated this way at Craig’s before
We have been coming to Craig’s whenever we are in the LA area for many years. A homey place with an old school vibe, and we often find ourselves dining among Hollywood celebs which is enjoyable. To say that this was our worst experience is an understatement. Our concierge at the Beverly Hills Hotel booked the reservation for us weeks ahead, and yet upon checking in, we were immediately shoveled onto their “outdoor patio”. This new patio must’ve been built for Covid, but feels very much like being purposely hidden from view. You cannot see any part of the restaurant from here - no ambiance, no banquet seating, no dim lighting. It feels like being segregated from the “real” customers, and like you are nobody to them. Disappointed, we asked if we could please dine inside as we have always done, and were told NO. (It was hopping inside btw, when I used the restroom I felt like I was trespassing on the “cool kids party” that I wasn’t allowed to attend.) Meanwhile, we were stuck on the patio, so ordered some drinks, which were delivered within 2 minutes (my husbands’ Old Fashioned was shockingly bad btw). I had literally had 2 sips of my champagne when our food came - 3 minutes later! They’re trying to rush us along, and shove us out. We were really shocked.
On this particular trip, we were staying in a suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel. We’d lunched at Nobu Malibu, had dinner at Hotel Bel Air, eaten countless times at the always amazing Polo Lounge - that is to say, fantastic restaurants, and great customer care. I understand that Craig’s is not meant to be an equivalent experience, and yet I thought I knew what I was getting …as I said, we’ve eaten here many many times, and had a great time. It was just so odd - we’ve never been treated as poorly as this, not by a mile. I understand the notion of trying to have decent table turnover, given the need for less tables to abide Covid rules etc. I also get not wanting “riff-raff” to disturb the elite Hollywood clientele. However, making your customers feel wholly and completely unwelcome? Crazy. To treat customers in this way simply because we are not in the business, is just plain rude. If the point was to ensure people like us do not return to Craig’s, well …mission accomplished. What I don’t understand, is - the pandemic has been hard on many restaurants - is it really financially feasible to alienate your loyal patrons? Truly, if you wish to be that selective about your clientele, why not turn your restaurant into a private Soho House-type of establishment? That would be much better than this insulting treatment.
Rushed in and out!
We were looking forward to a nice relaxing dinner. Unfortunately we were rushed the entire meal. Food was so fast it was not a pleasant experience.
Would not recommend for a nice evening.
Rude
Everyone was incredibly rude, they hung up the phone on me 3 times as I was trying to change a reservation and the service was terrible. Stay away they don’t deserve your business.
