Always a great meal
Always a great meal! We requested away from the bar as it can get loud. Our waitress was very pleasant, offering up the special of the evening, surf ( 2 wonderful scallops) and turf. Ribeye. We started with a Manhattan and a glass of champagne. Again, ordering for the table, fried calamari, heaping and hot, with some fried pickles in there! Enough for the three of us to get a good helping. We opted to try the blue cheese wedge salad and were not disappointed. Crisp lettuce with a wonderful blue cheese dressing. Ordered a Zinfandel and she decanted it for us as we were working on our first drinks. The ribeye was wonderful, and she explained our choice of medium. Perfect. The creamed spinach had bacon in it and was wonderful. Again, with every dish she explained the ingredients, just in case.,,, Coffee and a strawberry cheese cake finished the meal. The only downer for the evening was the James Bond table was out of commission! Ask to view it when you go. This had become our go to steak house when we go to Vegas.

We made reservations at Del Frisco’s based on a google search and the reviews that I had read. We came to Las Vegas for our 30th anniversary and wanted to have a great steak meal to celebrate. We could not have been more delighted with our decision. We pre-booked our reservation using open table and arrived ten minutes early. On arrival there was live music playing in the open bar area and they were quite busy. We were seated promptly at a table right next to the window where we could see right into the wine and spirit cellar. What an incredible view (and cellar I might add). Within minutes our server arrived, introduced himself, took our drinks order and left. The live music was piped over the system but not so loud that you couldn’t have a low conversation over it. Our drinks arrived and we decided to take on the taster menu for two. For the price and what we received, we have absolutely no complaints at all! The taster menu came with two appetisers, two sides, four mains, and two desserts. Our choices were the Caesar salad and boiled prawns with two dipping sauces, creamed spinach and creamed corn, filet Mignon (rare)/New York strip (blue)/2 diver scallops/lobster tail, and the butter cake and strawberry cheesecake. We also each ordered a glass of wine for our mains. It came in each of their respective courses with the dirty dishes removed between. The sides were served in a single “share-style” dish while the mains were arranged together on an appropriate platter. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and we didn’t regret a single bit of it. If anything, we simply ran out of room and had to take the desserts home with us. The steaks were cooked to request and were a high quality beef which is what we had hoped for. I would highly recommend Del Frisco’s for a nicer occasion meal for the price that you are going to pay. Not sure I would take children as the quality and cost may be lost on them. We would totally return if we were to find ourselves in the Las Vegas area again

I have been to most of the steakhouses in Vegas. I finally got to go to Del Frisco’s. And let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. Warm greeting, knowledgeable and attentive bartenders. Wait staff were attentive. The food was fantastic. I usually stay away from twice baked potatoes; but I’m glad I didn’t. Desserts we’re redonkulous. Oh yeah…and they had a humidor and smoking area! DF’s you blew me away. See you on my next trip!

Not shocked this place has 4.5 stars. I’ve been here a handful of times and even hosted my 40th in a private room; everything about this place screams five stars. On our most recent visit last weekend, and the only reason why we even flew to Vegas from the Bay Area, was to dine here. I forget how big their portions are so the hubby and I shared a Caesar salad, soup, a NY strip, fries and a dessert. I know, sounds basic but trust me, it’s not. Their portions are more than big. Either come hungry or be prepared to share. Even the cocktails are huge. Jared was our server; he and his team were so attentive. We were never without a drop of alcohol or a crumb on our table. This steakhouse is without a doubt the BEST steakhouse and the fact that it’s NOT on the strip is an added bonus. The food is of high quality and flavor, the service is superb and the ambiance is awesome; good for a date night, family, or even a big event (they have lots of private rooms). I can’t wait to go back! Note: There’s plenty of parking but if you uber from the strip, it’s just $10.

Try the Double Eagle tasting. It is well worth it! Steak are delectable, well, everything is! Service is always top-notch. Must try: butter cake and truffle butter.

The food was good as usual. Mike our server suggested the fried lobster appetizer and it was outstanding

The steaks were fine, and the service was good, we arrived at 7:25 for a 7:30 reservation and even though the restaurant had a bunch of empty table they made us wait until 7:30 to be seated, but then even at 7:30 the table was not ready, finally after talking to the hostess we were seated at 7:35 so no big deal. The soup was great, the bread was better when it was the sesame seed bread, the steaks were fine, and actually the food is good and service was good as well. We went to order a bottle of wine from their extensive wine list, and the wine was not available, so we ordered a different bottle, and again it was not available. One last try we ordered a third bottle of wine and again nothing. You would think the manager would have had the intuition to come to the table at this point and explain that there was an issue, and come up with a resolution like offering a similar bottle for the same price range, but low and behold we never even saw a manager in the restaurant. Imagine a fine dining place with not actual leadership. This is Del Friscos Las Vegas. It is a shame because it is a nice restaurant but it is going to go the way of the older casinos, and go out of business. There is a reason it was half full when all the other restaurants in Vegas were full... there is no actual leadership and there is a "we just dont care attitude" which is not good when you are spending a lot of money on a meal. I dont blame the waiter, he tried his best but when you dont have support from your manager and you dont have product that is listed on the menu, you just dont have a business people will return to. My recommendation is find a different dining option in Vegas, there are plenty that are much better than this Del Friscos.

We had booked a table 4 weeks in advance for 20 people for a wedding party as a final special meal before flying home. We arrived at 1930 and orders taken. After a 2 hour wait and chasing up several times the food did not start to arrive until 2.5 hours after ordering, when the orders came it took a further 90 minutes for all the food to arrive, people with cold food, most side orders wrong / missing - utter chaos. By this time it was 10.45 and after numerous escalations with the waitress, being told it was against their policy to split the bill they still had the audacity to add an 18% service charge on resulting in us demanding the manager explain what went so wrong. No such explanation was given (in fact he remained silent) so after refusing to pay the service charge we left. Absolutely shocking for what was supposed to be a special meal after a special occasion in a supposedly "Up market" restaurant. I would recommend avoiding this particular restaurant at all costs.

A family celebration for 20 booked well in advance. 19.30pm everyone was present and seating themselves at a large table. Orders for food and drinks taken but food didn’t start arriving to the table until 21.45 then a few at a time, side orders didn’t arrive until most main courses were cold, even then some were missing. One main didn’t arrive until 22.30. The meal was a shambles, food was cold by the time we got to eat it (the food itself was very pleasant but who wants cold food unless it’s a salad!) What was supposed to be a great meal to end a wedding vacation turned into a nightmare. The reason the couple chose this venue was that they had had an amazing experience in the NY Del Friscos, I cannot honestly recommend this restaurant, the manager didn’t even offer an apology. Absolutely shocked at the lack of customer service. The waitress tho did her best to help but even she couldn’t explain what had gone wrong, the manager should never have left her to try to carry that responsibility.

My husband and I did the 4 course tasting. The fillet was PERFECT! Shrimp were huge, creamed spinach was the BEST I have had, asparagus were flavorful and tender, thick cut bacon was delicious. To top it off, the butter cake a strawberry cheesecake were OUT OF THIS WORLD! My husband and I agreed this was one of the top 3 meals we have ever had and look forward to returning. MUST HAVES; truffle butter and butter cake.

It was like a kids night club whoever manages it is hard of hearing. Food was subpar and steak tough plus cooked more than ordered. The service was great. Way overpriced for waht we got. I have been to Del Frisco in Dallas, Great New York very Good Vegas, Poor.

I enjoyed my dinner with my 8 other colleagues the other night. We have reservations and we’re seated promptly. I ordered the lobster bisque which was pretty good. In addition the bacon and lobster Mac n cheese was reasonably good. The only thing I would remark is the attempts to upsell you on something was overwhelming. The server informed our party that the roasted chicken dinner was not good and a bad decision. Oddly enough, it’s the least expensive entree. Numerous attempts to get us to have higher end glasses of wine and dessert was just annoying. Overall a decent spot but I think there are likely better options in this town.

Have been to delfrisco many times in different locations. The last 2 visits to this restaurant in vegas have disappointed . Had the tomahawk to share and it was fatty and didn’t really deliver the quality we have previously experienced. It’s a shame but won’t return as there is lots of choice in this area.

Came here for a special occasion. All of the food was really good. Had a crab cake appetizer which was a bit tiny. Alaskan king crab and Oscar rib eye for our entrees which were both really good with sides of creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin. Drinks were made well.

The only thing good was we got seated on time at 5:00 o'clock. We were the first ones in that section. Not sure what time they took our order, but that section was full of people by the time we complained. Half of them had received there orders. It was like 6:30 before we received our meals. we had told the waiter we had a show to see at 7:00, he said he could box the dinner up if we preferred. If it happens again We should just get up and leave. The food did not taste the same after that. Can`t say it was good. I will never return again, and I am a first time local. This is not a fine food steakhouse
Be the first to ReplyPoor overall performance....
Our 5th reservation on our anniversary was a total disappointment from the starters, to walking out out after 6 cold salty soups and a fllor manager that could not deliver the true standard of this restaurant. Instead of apologizing for a weak kitchen (apparently the GM was cooking as staff failed to commit to the task!) we were left bewildered on our way out of the door after "strike 3". Totally messed up on Christmas Eve.

Wife and I had dinner Nov. 9. Very nice ambiance. Staff was pleasant and service was good. Had one of their signature cocktails that was good. Sides of creamed spinach and lobster mac were also very good. The caesar salad I sent back as it wasn't really dressed and like eating plain, somewhat wimpy romaine. And I would have given it more than 3 stars if the steak had been better. We had the bone-in ribeye and it was average at best.
Be the first to ReplyNot so fine dining
Not really even worth my time writing this review. The wait was quite a bit considering we had a reservation and showed up 30 minutes early. We then waited another 30 minutes to get the table. The bartenders were amazing even though they ran out of vermouth, bars should keep their inventory stocked. Especially when it comes to fine dining. But the drinks were great and they insured we had an amazing time. We then transitioned into the dining experience, which started with a shrimp cocktail and a seafood tower which was on a plate and flat so I am not sure where the tower part came in but I will definitely tell you it was worth every bite. Then we followed that up by getting our steaks ordered and a round of drinks for the table while we waited. The steaks came to the table and the food runner asked us which steak were who’s. The Majority of the table had ordered filet mignon while two people out of ten ordered fish. We asked the temperatures of the steaks (medium, medium rare, or well done), they said that they didn’t know and I said well how do we know which one is our’s maybe ask the chef. They turned away laughing at me and this is why they are getting one star. The chef sent the food runners back who relayed just get a steak and cut into it, if you don’t like it they will replace it. So if we all do not like our steaks they are basically all going back. I don’t know how this place is considered fine dining when they clearly have no idea what they were doing in the kitchen. Basic common sense would be to figure out the temperatures of each steak before leaving the kitchen) When you are spending roughly $500-$600 for a full dining experience for two I would expect more from this restaurant. Because of how the manager handled the situation I am giving this mediocre restaurant a one star followed by their food runners laughing because I asked the temperature of the steaks. I’ve never in all of my years in fine dining seen such a disorganized bunch. I heard after which that they were under new ownership. I hope you are able to turn this place around. I am not wasting my money here again.
