Get into Din Tai Fung Las Vegas! ๐ฅ
Din Tai Fung Las Vegas Reviews
I tried to get a reservation for 9.
Their automated system said it is not confirmed - fine. They open at 11. I called over and over again in until 1pm to finally get someone on the phone. That person was rude. Just we can't get you a reservation. We were too busy to answer our phone until now.
We dropped into this very popular spot at Aria for brunch
We dropped into this very popular spot at Aria for brunch and enjoyed a good meal. The service was incredible as Evon was very welcoming and went through the menu thoughtfully with us. She is probably one of the best servers that we have ever experienced in Vegas. We went with the pork XLB, pork and crab XLB, and the braised beef noodles. Very good food, even better service! In your mouth!
Had a great meal!
Fun atmosphere, Food was really fresh, service was fast, I would go back again. Nice place for celebrating a party of two or more!
Great service, please consider to make a reservation
Great service, please consider to make a reservation because waiting time can be a bit longer. Food was amazing.
Food as always is always fresh and amazing.
Soup dumplings are a must along with the cucumber salad. The service was fast.
This is a busy restaurant and a wait should be expected.
While there were empty tables, service was a bit slow considering it was in between lunch and dinner. The ambience is airy with exterior views of the Aria Hotel. Our booth was comfortable. The soup dumplings were tasty, but not as hot as I expected. The garlic green beans were perfectly crisp and nicely seasoned. The pork fried rice was just ok, and I probably won't order again.

This is our 3rd time here at this location and it never disappoints! We came here to celebrate my birthday and the service and food were on point! We were sat quick and our food arrived quickly as well! I got a yummy scoop of taro ice cream for my birthday as well :)
My girlfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary.
It took over 20 minutes for our waiter to show up and he didn't explain anything on the menu. He was short with us, rude, and barely came by the table, which was confusing because we weren't being unpleasant or anything. This place seems to have no problem profiling and it felt very discriminatory. Everyone else around us was treated how you would expect to be treated when going out for a nice dinner. We were excited to come here but left extremely disappointed, hungry, and upset. There are definitely cheaper places on Spring Mountain with way better service. I would suggest locals and tourist alike to avoid this place and save your money.
Luckily, my friend made a reservation for our party at 11am
Luckily, my friend made a reservation for our party at 11am on a Saturday, because without it, we would have been waiting a long time in line for a table. The entrance was a little confusing, as there are no signs for which queue is for what, so we ended up just walking up to the host stand. They sent us back to then wait for a host to show us to our table. The restaurant is absolutely massive and sprawling, but didn't seem overly loud or busy. Our server was friendly and patient in answering our questions and giving us recommendations. We tried a little bit of everything on the menu, but the standouts were the string beans that snapped with every garlicky bite and the shrimp and pork potstickers. Make sure to save room for the chocolate buns. They are a rich chocolate ending to the meal. Overall, we had a very tasty meal that didn't seem as insanely expensive as some other Vegas alternatives.
We celebrated my daughter and her friend's birthday here.
Service was fine. The hostess was short with us when I asked for directions, but the man I assume was a manager overheard and corrected the situation by being polite and pointing me the right way. It was a nice gesture. The food was good of course. We ordered all the "TikTok" favorites and we were very happy with all of it. If you have a chance to try Din Tai Fung I do recommend it at least once. We ordered 8 items and our bill was about $160 plus tip. There were 3 of us and we had leftovers.
Amazing! Same authentic experience and flavor as Singapore
Amazing! Same authentic experience and flavor as Singapore location!! Definitely a must go to place.
Fresh Dumplings Made At Entry-Excellent Experience
You can watch the dumplings being made while waiting for your table. Very busy, large restaurant, however, be sure to make a reservation. Everything was delicious. Recommend baby back ribs, cod dumplings, shrimp fried noodles (highly recommend), and taro buns. Over-ordering is good here!
Try Another Location
This restaurant is reservation only. I was surprised that they didn't take walk ins like many of the other locations we've been to. I figured they'd text us when the table was ready like many of the mall locations we've been to. It was a Monday night. I was lucky enough to get a reservation the next day because someone canceled. They sat our party of 4 on a counter made for 8. I had to ask to make sure they called my name because I didn't expect the awkward set up with the sun in our eyes. Din Tai Fung ALWAYS has great service and they're on top it. I expected the server to make introductions and bring water right when we were seated. I sat there for a good 10 minutes and nobody came. I had to flag down a hostess to have someone come and greet us. Service wasn't great. I'm used to hole in the wall Chinese food being served with little or bad service. I mean that's how you know the food is good. When you come here, you expect better. I was disappointed. Water wasn't refilled. Dessert came out late. Food was good. Everything else was meh. I recommend dining somewhere only Vegas has. Try another Din Tai Fung location.
Great place
I went here for lunch. It was great. Everything I ordered was perfect. I had some fried rice, some wok noodles and a fried pork chop. All were great.
Ok Food
Reservations are required and if you are even two minutes early, they make you wait. Ladies at check in are never friendly. Food is ok. Not worth the hype. We go because my husband likes the pepper beef steak.
Great experienceโฆ.prepare for big and busy.
Loved this experience. The food and table service were spectacular. We chose shrimp fried rice, kurobuta pork xiao long buns, chicken fried noodles, garlic green beans and spicy chicken wontons. All easily shareable. Make a reservation, but be prepared for a long check-in line outside the restaurant. You have to stand in line outside to check-in, then proceed to reception to be seated. We originally thought the long line outside was standby, but were turned away at reception to go stand in line to check-in. You can watch the kitchen staff hand making the long buns and other items as you walk in. This is a giant, very busy restaurant, but the food and service are surprisingly good and efficient given all that is going on.
Same Xiao Long Bao, Different Ci
Lunch at Din Tai Fung in Las Vegas ๐๐ฅข Always a treat! Delicious, beautifully presented, and consistent with the quality Iโve experienced at their other locations. The xiao long baoโperfection. Yum yum, nom nom! ๐๐ If youโre a fan of dumplings and Taiwanese-style dishes, this spot never disappoints. A little slice of comfort food in the middle of all the Vegas flash. โธป Hashtags: #DinTaiFung #XiaoLongBao #VegasEats #DumplingLovers #LasVegasDining #YumYumNomNom #TaiwaneseFood #FoodieFinds #TravelWithMira #MiRasBites #LunchInVegas #FoodieHeaven #VegasFoodScene
Canโt wait to go back!
I wasnโt sure what to expect, but I canโt wait to go back. Everything was so good and the service was excellent. My favorite was the spicy were my favorite along with the chocolate and mochi xiao long bao (& I donโt even like chocolate!). Get the sea salt cream for sure!
Refused service
I will start out by saying the amount of disappointment and disrespect received by the front guest person at Din Tai Fung in Las Vegas Aria was enough to leave a very bad taste. We were in Vegas to celebrate my son's 30th and Din Tai Fung is(was) his favorite but this whole incident has sadly left him feeling very bitter. He made the reservations months ahead of time and when we arrived Saturday night June 7th(615p reservation) to be refused service due to the dress my son's girlfriend was wearing was beyond words. The picture of her dress is attached. Absolutely nothing wrong with her attire. Minutes before while standing in line they allowed someone is a sports bra to go in! but they won't allow this? His girlfriend stood in tears as she had felt this whole night was ruined due to what she was wearing when there was not a thing! We went out into the casino and talked with several employees to see their thoughts and no one felt we should have been refused. They got on the phone and helped us get into Javier's. We knew we would have issues getting in last minute but due to the kindness of other employees of Aria, it salvaged the night. Needless to say Din Tai Fung will never see a dime of mine. Ever. The foul treatment of the Hostess to leave a guest crying was way too much! Nice job Din Tai Fung. I know this means absolutely nothing to you but I will be sure to express to others the treatment received.
Cold food but amazing flavor
Massive and beautiful restaurant at the Aria. Probably the best dumplings we have ever had. Unfortunately, none of our food was hot. Soup was barely warm. Dumplings and wontons were cold, including the soup dumplings that we were told to watch a video hot to eat it to not burn our mouths when eating it but since it was cold that was not a problem. This is probably one of the largest restaurants I have been in. Like I mentioned we loved the dumplings but I hate that we were served cold food. We were very hungry as we did not have breakfast so we just ate the food cold.

Wished they had a round table with spiny chinese toppers as we were a large group reaching across each other Their xio long baos DO NO DISAPPOINT so so good! Their spare ribs and cucumber salad was a great appetizer to share AND MAKE SURE TO ORDER the fried rice WITH spicy dumplings so you can mix the dumpling sauce with the fried ricce (this is golden - please trust Had better string beans at their other location sadly didnt live up. The service was AMAZING and the drinks were so refreshing
Went here for lunch before we went to the dead and company
Went here for lunch before we went to the dead and company show and it was so good. Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was wonderful! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Vegas
Reasonable Aria Restaurant
Really enjoyed the pork boa, dumplings, and buns. The pork fried rice with whole fried pork chop was excellent too. Drinks were good but not remarkable.
Really enjoyed the pork boa, dumplings, and buns.

It's a must to pit stop here when we visit Las Vegas.
That's only if I could get a reservation strategically lol. I have to give a five star because their service gotten great especially to their restaurant end hostesses hiring or training. It has to be the best atmosphere Din Tai Fung location I've been to date.

Our server Ken was the best! He was attentive without being overbearing. I loved that the ordering process consisted of writing our order down on a sheet. When Ken learned we were celebrating a birthday be brought out a complimentary red bean ice cream. Can't wait to go back :)
We love Din Tai Fung!!! Been many times on other cities!!
We love Din Tai Fung!!! Been many times on other cities!! Must order: soup dumplings, spicy Szechuan dumplings, green beans, chocolate dumplings (add the salted cream on the side) and the rice and red bean dessert. We even went back the next day to get the desserts before heading to the airport!
DTF is the reason why I love staying at Aria.
I'm not a huge fan of their XLB, but I always get the pork sticky rice because it's one of my favorite comfort food. Next favorite item is the beef noodle and the sesame sauce noodle. Service and food is always great.
Every aspect of fine dining is checked off!! This is a huge
Every aspect of fine dining is checked off!! This is a huge operation with a lot or organization- seemed like the employees. There had to have been like 10 hostesses bringing guests to the tables. Then there were like 25 making the dumplings from scratch. Amazing to see dedicated workers and staff being so diligent. Best of all, the service was awesome. The details that came with the whole experience is pretty much like high end dining, along with the decor... yet the menu prices was just medium priced. This was a great spot to check out - huge space, with solid and creative dishes, and filled with a classy atmosphere.
Everything was good.
Ordered pork and chicken dumplings, spicy chicken wontons. Green beans. Had the chocolate dumplings for dessert. Was the Best meal on my 4 day trip. A must try! This place is MAKING DUMPLINGS GREAT AGAIN!
Had a pretty middle of the road experience.
Had a party of 7, it took a little while after our reservation time to actually be seated, but not an outrageous amount. The hostess was not the nicest in the world but not overtly offensive. The decor and layout is nothing spectacular, but it seems nice and clean. Our server was amazing! She walked us through the ordering process and was very helpful and made us all feel very comfortable. It took us longer to decide what to get than it did for the food to start coming, once the orders were placed they came out very quickly. The portions are fairly small, meant to encourage tasting and sharing. The green beans are excellent, easily the star of the evening, whether or not you want to pay almost $20 for a side of green beans is your own personal decision. Everything else ranged from mediocre to decent. None of the dumplings or buns were particularly great, but again, not offensive. The meal in total with 3 cocktails (fyi, the Old Fashioned is also not very good) came to about $360, about $52 per person. I've had better meals for cheaper, and worse ones more expensive. If it sounds good to you, give it a shot, but in my opinion there is better value and better food elsewhere.
Good food
I went here for lunch. The noodles and fried rice were great. The dumplings were good. Itโs a big place but Iโd make a reservation as it gets pretty full.
Rude receptionist.
Rude receptionist. We were there around 11:30 am fourth in line. She told everyone the wait is 30 to 45 minutes and asked for a phone number to enable her to text us when the table is ready. I told her I don't have a usable phone as I am using a Canadian phone and will wait at the lobby. She then said in that case, it will be an hour wait, then changed her mind and said it will be one hour and a half wait. Wow, Extra one hour wait just because I don't have a phone ! There are a lot of other better places to eat in Vegas- stay away if you are a tourist.
Excellent Dinner in Vegas
Best service and meal. A little pricey but worth the splurge. All the food is tasty and seasoned to perfection. Nothing bad on the menu. Enjoy!
My davorite place to eat in Vegas
This was my favorite thing about this whole trip to Vegas. Everything was delicious. We had cucumber salad, pork and the pork and crab xiao long bao, chicken and mushroom buns, spicy chicken wontons, shrimp and pork potstickers, and of course the chocolate and mochi xiao long bao. Everything was soooooooooo good and our server was just the sweetest. Will definitely come back to din Thai fung
Dumplings and Noodles in a Classy Atmosphere
We had a very enjoyable lunch here. In addition to good food, this restaurant has huge windows and lots of natural light. There are many options on the menu and it was helpful that the menu included pictures of everything when using the online version. It's a good thing we had reservations because the place was full and there was a queue waiting for free tables.
Great Food and Cocktails at Din Tai Fung in Las Vegas

From outstanding service and delicious food and cocktails you just canโt miss this fabulous restaurant. We have our list of favorites like the Yuzu Margaritas and Lychee Martini to the cucumber salad, string beans with garlic, kurobuta pork xlb, and soup dumplings you just canโt miss. ABSOLUTE MUST TRY!
Best experience and everything I had hoped it would be! The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh and hot and exploding with flavor! The service was OUTSTANDING - our waitress went out of her way to explain every dish and was so kind!
Thank you Cesar for being an amazing server! Really
Thank you Cesar for being an amazing server! Really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I have dietary restrictions that I told him about and he was very patient and helpful! Food was exceptional. Everything was delicious! I'm vegan and my boyfriend is not. We both enjoyed all the food that we ordered. It was packed on a weeknight. Definitely make reservations online! Will be back again soon!
Fabulous suggestion from our daughters to try this
Fabulous suggestion from our daughters to try this restaurant. Everything was fresh and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
yummy! lots of seating.
must have a reservation unless you want to wait a while. i love that you can watch them making the dumplings when you're waiting to be seated. service was excellent!! mark and the staff were outstanding! food was delivered at appropriate timing not all at once. lots of really good flavor and the menu selection was very large. restaurant was very clean, had a nice view of outside. we were celebrating my aunt's birthday, and they even gave us a little treat at the end!
Absolutely horrible.
The worst dim sum experience ever. I'm not one to criticize food joints like this. But that was the top worst.
The name is popular so my girlfriend and I had to check it
The name is popular so my girlfriend and I had to check it out. The wrappers on the XLB were paper thin and chewy which was so delightful however the dumplings and food all kind of came out lukewarm which was so disappointing!!! When I eat a soup dumpling I want it to burn my mouth. The spicy pork and shrimp wonton flavour was really good but once again came out lukewarm at best and not that spicy. Green beans were the highlight for our group. The service was friendly and very professional and obviously the restaurant has a great vibe and energy. For the price, you mind as well go into Chinatown for hot food.
Text messages goes DTF in LV? .
Yea Din Tai Fung of course . The dumplings here come in a set of 6 vs 10 in LA. I guess when one is in an Oasis it doesn't even matter. Good ole Din Tai Fung known for earlier headliners such as world famous XLB and making the Dude wait for a table, how could I ever forget about DTF. To the Manager at this Las Vegas Location- kudos-. $25 for beef noodles and $25 for your fried rice here . @50 for both I envy you. Reputation outweighs the menu , and the service was extraordinary as it was service at a steakhouse while eating XLB. Just like most things there are two lines . DTF again ? Yes please
Fantastic dinner at the Aria
If you love Dim Sum this is a must. Make sure you make a reservation as itโs very busy. They do take drops ins, you can sit and have a drink in the lobby bar while you wait. Great for sharing, we really enjoyed it!
We swung by Din Tai Fung spontaneously on a Saturday night
We swung by Din Tai Fung spontaneously on a Saturday night and were seated within 30-45 minutes - we got really lucky, seriously! If you're staying nearby, or visiting the area, send a runner from your group to get on the waitlist. You get about 15 minutes to stroll on back, which is plenty of time, if you're remaining nearby. The quality, atmosphere and flavor was as expected - Din Tai Fung quality. Our server, Bryan, was fast, efficient and patient with our group of six. We felt taken care of, which is something not always easy in Vegas, especially when people are often juggling multiple tables and parties. Bryan somehow did the impossible. As for food, whelps - it was delightful and delicious. Aria's Din Tai Fung was probably one of my favorite dinner experiences so far. The quality was superb across the board. Every single order was cooked to perfection - juicy, warm and flavorful. Overall, we were happy campers last night! We'd definitely come again.

Hands down thee best dim sum! Huge place in Aria hotel,
Hands down thee best dim sum! Huge place in Aria hotel, with delicious food. We made reservations ahead of time online, and were seated upon arrival. We pretty much ordered everything that sounded yummy, which was a lot of food for 5 people. So we had leftovers. I recommend ordering one of each dish before doubling up, because you can always order more if you need to. The service was great too, waitress was so sweet! I can't emphasize enough of how yummy their dim sum is. Freshly steamed & cooked. The taste of everything was melt in your mouth, yummy to your tummy. I wish Hawaii had this here!
We had reservations.
Were seated promptly. The two girls at the front desk seemed disorganized and inefficient. They walked around calling names but no one could hear them because they didn't even speak towards the crowd but rather looking down at their clipboards. The atmosphere is nice but nothing special. The service was excellent. Best part of the experience so the wait staff deserves praise. The food we ordered: Hot and sour soup - excellent Green beans - meh. They needed to be more crispy. Spare ribs - excellent Sticky rice - excellent Pot stickers - weird presentation and ok flavor but the dipping sauce was excellent. Steamed pork dumplings - ok not great We tried all three versions of the soup dumplings. The seafood/crab ones tasted too fishy and were the worst. The chicken ones were ok. The best ones were the pork so we got a second order. The drinks were waaaaay over priced and served in tiny glasses. Kind of shameful to charge so much for a tiny drink. Would we go back? Probably not. We can find better soup dumplings in Chinatown.
Not even close
We seem to have bad luck dining at places where we've eaten at a sister property. We were very excited to hear that Din Tai Fung had taken over the space formerly of the ARIA Cafรฉ and our expectations were high. We've eaten a few times at two of their California locations, so we were expecting familiar flavours and dining experience. Things went south from the moment we arrived. The host took us to our table (a two-top) and when we asked for a larger table (we knew we were going to order lots of food) we were told it was not possible. When we ordered, our server commented that he wasn't sure if it would all fit on our table. We asked, again, if we could be moved but he said it was not possible if this was where the host sat us. Just as the server went to place our order we saw two other couples being sat at larger (four-top) tables by the same host that sat us. I guess we weren't young enough or pretty enough to warrant a larger table. Food was served in stages, and more disappointment arrived. The famous XLB were not hot causing the pastry to become a bit stiff and the "molten" filling was just lukewarm. We made a comment to our server and he said it was because we had ordered so much food. That was are only interaction with our server between taking our order and bringing us the bill (he didn't even ask if we wanted dessert or anything else, just dropped the bill and stood there waiting with the credit card machine). At no time did he check how the rest of our meal went. Vegas has been our happy place, for years!! We have many fond memories and have eaten great meals. This was not one of them.
