Amazing! Made reservations for Friday afternoon to
Amazing! Made reservations for Friday afternoon to celebrate our best friends' bday. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waiter was very friendly and very knowledgeable! We ordered 2 sparkling wine samplers along with a charcuterie & pate selection. The wines were delicious. Definitely a lot for one person if you're not a big drinker but not enough if u like to drink. The charcuterie & pate platter was delicious. Definitely not enough as a meal but delicious nonetheless. We had an amazing time. We will definitely come back again. MAKE THE RESERVATION! You won't regret it!
If I could rate this 1000/10, I would.
One of the best wineries I've ever visited! The service was impeccable, the champagnes were excellent, but the real star was the caviar. It tasted delicious. And the property--absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend!
Excellent winery.
First off, sparkling wine and Pinot Noir are probably Mount Rushmore types of wine I like so they're already doing well when that's all they make. Add on that the beautiful French estate they built and great service (super helpful placards for tastings and generous pours). Food was also fantastic and reasonably priced. Ended up joining their wine club which was completely unexpected lol.

It was a busy sunday, waited 30 minutes to get seated even with a reservation. Love their sparkling wines, it was all refreshing and each varietal has a unique taste. Paired well with the charcuterie, fresh oysters, and macaroons.
Good experience
I liked the experience but not sure whats hype is about. I did the daily tastings , the seating and wine sample pours are decent and proper tour might elevate the experience. Yes the french building looks cool but you donot need book tastings to see the building.. actually for people who already on a row of visting wineries..I suggest take pics from parking lot and return unless you are wine enthuiasts who likes to try different wines.

Checking in was great! Busy sunday but we were able to get great service from, Richard. We had the charcuterie and macaroon wine pairings to go with the sparkling white sampler. My favorite was the Blanc De Noir, definitely recommend!

The price point for the wine tasting was very reasonable, and the atmosphere/views were great. We didn't eat any food, but everyone around us seemed to really enjoy theirs -- plates were cleared! The place isn't overly pretentious, either in presentation or the crowd, which gave it a really good vibe overall. We ordered two flights: one of their reds and one of their champagnes. I do wish the flights had more variety, as they're more focused on tasting wines within a single category rather than mixing it up, but it was still a solid experience.

Even thought my boyfriend and I aren't wine connoisseurs, we had an amazing experience at this winery! We ordered a charcuterie board along with two wine tastings and everything was fantastic. The staff did a great job in explaining g each pour in a way that felt very welcoming and easy to follow. The charcuterie board was beautifully presented with a nice variety of cheeses, meats and accompaniments. The view was stunning. We got seated on the terrace with views of the rolling vineyards and elegant estate made the whole afternoon feel very special. Even without being wine experts we left feeling like we had a very memorable experience! I highly recommend this place and next time we return to Napa we will definitely be back!

Using their website, We made a wine tasting appointment a few hours before we thought we would arrive. It was a lovely day for outdoor seating on their patio. We arrived on time and were seated and Gabriel came over with water and their options for today. My wife selected the sparking wine tasting flight (4 glasses). I selected the red wine tasting flight. After a short time the glasses were setup on a description card for each flight and we were introduced to each as they were poured (a generously pour for sure). There was no rush at all with Gabriel checking in periodically. We have been here several times over 38 years time and it is always a treat. At the end we selected one red and one sparkling bottle to take back home to GA

This was our first stop on our Napa trip and it was a great first stop! We had a reservation and were seated promptly. They offered us an inside spot or the patio and we couldn't say no to the patio with those beautiful views. We were greeted quickly by our server who ran through all of our options for tasting menus. I picked the sparkling tasting, and my husband picked the higher end tasting that includes their Pinot Noirs. When our server brought back all of the wine to pour us, he walked through all of them including characteristics and tasting notes. I was really impressed with all of their wines. We work in the industry, but I never had their wines before and now I will be trying to get them at our location! My favorite was their late disgorged brute which had incredible notes of green apple and was so smooth. Their Pinot Noirs were also really good- they had the fruity aspects of a Pinot you typically get however, they were decently tanic. Cab and pinot drinkers alike. Would love this one. We're also considering joining their club because of how good the wines were! Definitely add this to your agenda if you're visiting the Napa area.
Underwhelming experience
Visited Domaine Carneros for my anniversary. I was super excited to do a tasting here. First off, the grounds are beautiful and the chateau is breathtaking. However, for me and my husband, that’s about it. The tasting experience is very commercialized. You feel like you’re at a wine bar and not a personalized experience. Our wine host brought our tasting flight over, spoke to us for a little bit and that was it. He had a lot of groups to attend to, so it felt very underwhelming compared to other wine tastings we did. If this is a place that’s on your bucket list of places to visit, definitely see it, take some photos, but don’t expect personalized experience.
Worth a visit. Surprisingly good alternative to Champagne. Great views, good wines, and pleasant atmosphere.
I have visited Napa Valley more than a dozen times but yet this is the first time here. I was pleasantly surprised at how approachable everything here was, from the price point to the service. In addition, you are sipping refreshing white wines in a castle with beautiful views. I encourage white wine lovers to give this place a visit. First of all, I have to divulge I am partial to French champagne and didn’t think that California sparkling wine could compare well. I was mistaken since I found some of the offerings that I tasted, though different, were worth buying. We also went to another sparkling wine winery this visit, and though we found the cave tour interesting, was not a memorable experience despite the higher price tag. So I was pleasantly surprised that I did enjoyed both the wines and the atmosphere at Domaine. We opted for the Taste of Peru tasting since I find food pairings lets us appreciate the wines better. In addition, we even ordered a charcuterie plate so we can leisurely enjoy the wines after we finished with the paired food items. The staff didn’t hurry us out after we finished with the scheduled tasting and let us sit and enjoy the ambiance and more wines if we wanted. We appreciated that. Our server provided a good explanation of the wines we were tasting, and which food pairs well with them. He gave decent pours unlike other wineries at similar or higher price points for the tastings. Due to the enjoyable experience here, we decided to join their wine club. The price points for the bottles were very reasonable. Hope that we will enjoy their wines at home as well as at their location.
Domaine Carneros An amazing "Customer Service Experience" rivaling the best of the best!
An amazing "Customer Service Experience" rivaling the best of the best. The views are stunning, the Chateau is exquisite, and the customer service impeccable from the servers, to the manager, Debi Clark, to the incredibly honest post-event cleanup personnel; and most importantly, the concierge phone service of "Rosa." Domaine Carneros has my heart, trust, and respect. Our experiences over the past several years have been incredibly special starting with the famous sparkling wine flights. There is a little something unique and contoured specially for each person. Domaine Carneros is renowned as a small grower-producer of méthode traditionnelle sparkling and estate Pinot Noir. The estate Pinot Noir experience is truly a gem. On this particular occasion, all was perfect with the exception I had discovered I left my purse and had not realized until several hours later after closing. The next early morning before Domaine Carneros' opening, a special, diligent Rosa, had answered the phone. Rosa promptly placed me on hold to check with security. Upon Rosa's return, she confirmed my purse had been placed in the safe and would be waiting upon my return. I must compliment the amazing "after hours" post-event cleanup personnel for their extra special attention to details, care taken, and honesty. Debi Clark, you have an amazing, special team. I thank you for this!
Pretty venue for wine tasting and light bites but poor service
Came here with a group of six girls for a bachelorette group and had a private room booked. There is a minimum charge per person that must be met but it includes food as well, so we ordered the cheese plate as well as macarons since quite a few in our group didn’t drink. The scenery was pretty and I did like the macarons. However, my main gripe was the service. Our server Salvador was a little sus as he did not warn us beforehand that the sparkling tea infusions were whole bottles and not drinks. We purchased three bottles unknowingly and even though two were left unopened, we couldn’t send them back because he already added them to our receipt. A heads up about an order being a bottle rather than a single drink would have been much appreciated. Other than that, service was slow and I had to get up to find someone when we were trying to pay our bill.
Bubbles Better Than Champagne
Bubbles Better Than Champagne - It’s like a day in the countryside of southern France . The food, the people, restaurant, store, tour, tasting is five star! We would love to go once or twice a month to feel like royalty. Diego and all the servers and customer service personnel are so helpful and friendly! We ordered cases of wine and bubbles so we can have them delivered to our house and we can enjoy them all the time. The view is the best in all of Napa Valley!!! The sparkling wine is the closest thing to actual champagne and I actually think we like it better🍾🥂
Amazing Vineyard with Devine Views!
Amazing property with divine views! We enjoyed a wonderfully sunny Napa day, sipping on a variety of sparkling wines and also enjoyed some surprisingly tasty Pinot noir. Our server, Corey, was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall our experience was top notch and we will gladly come back soon.
Great time!
This is the second time we visited this lovely location. The service was excellent. The server had a great attitude, very friendly and gracious. The wine tasting was amazing. This place is always fantastic! Food was delicious! Only negative was the surly, obnoxious attitude of the guy working behind the front desk. Some folks without a reservation asked if they could enter the premises. The guy behind the counter talked down to them, acted very snotty and condescending. It did not affect us but I felt sorry for the folks trying to get in. Fire that creep!
Beautiful spot for bubbles and views!
My friend and I visited on a clear, sunny day and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The blue skies and green vineyards made for a stunning backdrop, and the chateau-style building is gorgeous—definitely worth seeing in person. We did the Bites & Bubbly tasting and really enjoyed it. We were seated inside next to big glass windows with a great view of the patio and vineyards. The sparkling wines were fun to try, and the food pairings were super tasty—everything worked really well together. Our server was friendly and made us feel welcome. We were able to enjoy our tasting for about an hour and a half before walking around the property a bit more. Overall, we were there for about two hours and had a great time. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
Loved it
Really enjoyed the tasting. We made reservations in advance, and you need them. This is our second time there, great wine, nice experience , i recommend it. Beautiful place!

Bogar made our visit to Domaine Carneros the most fabulous experience! If you are looking for the most stunning views, enchanting ambience and his top notch service please ask for him. His knowledge of the tastings and pairings are unmatched. We did not want to leave!!! He was the best we had all weekend of all the wineries thus far!!!

My first chateau in Napa! I was able to reserve a table for two the morning of (I called around 11AM and was able to get a table for 12:40PM - was still on the road). We were met with such a great view and great service. The room to check in is absolutely stunning -- it uses a lot of natural lighting. Our waiter was super cool and we bonded over being from the same city. He made sure to move the run umbrella so that we weren't in the sun too much. In addition to this, he also gave us some other wineries and chateaus to try. I'm not much of a wine connoisseur (and don't drink as much wine), so the one sampler was just enough for me and my partner. We did receive a charcuterie board we didn't order (not pictured) but our waiter we got the wrong one, so were able to get the charcuterie board (pictured) comped. We did enjoy both charcuteries. 10/10 wine sampler. It ranged from light to dark (I much preferred the darker half and my partner preferred the lighter half, so it was a nice split). 7/10 charcuterie. The charcuterie board with the cheese and jam (not pictured) was very pleasant to eat with the wine. The charcuterie board with the meat was nice too -- the combination of the two was nice as well had leftovers from the charcuterie board we mistakenly received. I will say, the price is up there for the charcuteries; we did order it as we hadn't eaten breakfast and still had to drive to our hotel after.

Domaine Carneros is the perfect place for a date! The atmosphere is elegant and luxurious. We visited on a sunny day, ideal for wine tasting. The servers recommended amazing sets suited to our preferences; I asked for something sweet and light and discovered my favorite wine, the Vermeil Demi-Sec. I never knew I could be so excited about finding the perfect wine! It was so good we ordered a bottle to take home. I recommend ordering something to snack on while wine tasting. We had a cheese and charcuterie pairing, featuring a delightful selection of cheeses, meats, nuts, and preserved fruits that perfectly complemented the wines. I would love to come back again with my date. Totally recommend!

Wine tasting regular here, and Domaine Carneros is one of my favorites in Napa. A beautiful, verdant estate, beautiful architecture, where an hour here feels like an out of the country getaway. The world-building that the caretakers here have crafted is incredible. Then of course there are the wine selections. Definitely worth buying a few bottles to take home. Service is friendly, and our host was highly knowledgeable. Not only was everything delicious, but I felt like I left here learning a lot too.
(Napa) Definitely a beautiful place for wine tasting.
It is pricey for what you are getting. Not much to do around the area. It is nice to visit if you are passing by

It's a beautiful winery, with a spectacular view of the area! We came in for an on the spot table, and we were seated within minutes (for a party of 2). There is a minimum of $40 that needs to be spent during the wine tasting. Overall enjoyed the wine tasting and views, would return again!
Have not been on many wine tastings, but given the location
Have not been on many wine tastings, but given the location and level of service this is an easy 5 star review. Located in a beautiful location in Napa sits a winery that is reminiscent of an early 18th century French mansion. The grounds and building exude a sense of old world quality with immaculately manicured shrubbery and a modern version of old school architecture. Staff was knowledgeable and provided a good history lesson of wine. They also had a food menu which we did not order, but would highly recommend the sparkling wine tasters.
This is a beautiful and ornate winery.
Both the sparkling and still wine we tried was very good and I enjoyed our table outside with shade and a view. I've been to a lot of wineries in both Sonoma and Napa and my only slight on Domaine Carneros is that it felt very commercial, sort of like Disneyland for a winery, which isn't really my vibe. They pack in a lot of people efficiently and our server was kind and knowledgeable. I did feel a bit rushed and was disappointed they didn't offer a discounted or comp tasting with purchase of bottles.
We didn't have a reservation but were not turned down.
Front staff was courteous & friendly. We were taken to the back area were AC was available (yay.) Our server though was a bit slow in checking back in with us to see if we needed else. Otherwise, vegan charcuterie board was good, wine was great, & views/ambiance was extraordinary!!!!
Our experience here was extremely disappointing.
Overall, the scenery was pretty, the food and wine were good, but the reception was very unfriendly and inefficient. We had a reservation for 3pm and had to wait for 20 min to even get helped at the reception desk. We then had to wait an additional 15 min to be seated while other larger parties were getting seated before us. When we followed up with the hostess, she was very short and said "like I said earlier, you will receive a text" without offering to check their computer about our reservation status. When we were finally seated, it took a while to get waited on, but our server was very friendly and attentive throughout our tasting. We tasted the sparkling wine selection and got the charcuterie selection with the smoked sturgeon pate. While the food and drinks were good, it was not worth the price due to the unprofessional and unfriendly reception. We went to other wineries in the area that were comparable in price, food/wine, and ambience that provided a more pleasant experience.
A Very Enjoyable Tasting
We were a little nervous booking our tasting on a Sunday at 4pm knowing that the winery closed at 5pm, but we had a great experience and sat sipping our wines until almost 6pm with no issues. The flight of sparkling wines was delicious, and both the view and the service were wonderful. We actually had an issue when we first arrived with a couple nearby having a fight that was hard to ignore, but we mentioned the issue to our server and within minutes the manager handed the couple their check and out they went, so the rest of our time there was quiet and lovely. The gift shop offered several fun items that we added to our collection, and having the ability to park at the top of the hill and not walk up the many steps in front was most welcome. We'd recommend a stop for a tasting.
Stuffy and not friendly
Of all the places we visited in Napa this was the most unfriendly and non accommodating for a walk in even though they were not busy. As we were turned away I checked the on line reservations and found that I could indeed get a table on the spot. I will not visit again
Sparkling Wine Experience
Domaine Carneros is a Napa Valley sparkling wine winery. They do not offer tours but they do have several charcuterie board brunch options which include flights of sparkling wines and some regular wines to sample. The chees and crackers and fruit accent some of the sparkling wines quite well. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. It is not free and you need to make reservations.
Beautiful winery but overly crowded
We went here on a Sunday afternoon. We had a reservation, though when we got here, they said it would be 10 minutes or so. After 15 minutes, we noticed lots of other people getting seated that came in after us. When we asked about it, they questioned whether we even had a reservation. After getting this straightened out, we were shown to a table where we were right up against other people. This winery has great Pinot noir. That said, this place is better suited to 22 year old influencers than to those looking for a quality experience. It is crowded, and not nearly as good an experience as other top wineries in the Napa area.
Mixed Experiance
Although the grounds of this venue are stunning and the views are breathtaking, the wine flights in my wife and I's opinion were only okay. Pros: -This place is beautiful. Think french country side and you have a good picture of what to expect. Beautiful sparkling chandeliers, grand fireplaces, uniquely painted walls, shining marble, and sweeping courtyards. -There is ample places to sit inside and outside on a good day -This venue is staffed well, and you aren't left waiting long Cons: -This place is very busy. If its not a nice day, and everyone has to sit inside, then the noise volume in the house is very loud, and its hard to have conversations easily. -If you are a red wine drinker, this place doesn't not have a great selection. They are more known for their bubbly wines.
An Exquisite Vineyard Escape at Domaine Carneros
Domaine Carneros epitomises wine country luxury - breathtaking vineyards, regal chateau, and passionate staff reveal the art of winemaking with every exquisite pour. Totally worth the visit!
This was my first stop in napa before some days of wine
This was my first stop in napa before some days of wine tasting! I have seen this place recommended in various places. The actual property in the pictures doesn't do it justice. In real life is beautiful. Service was super friendly and the sparkling wine sampler was a perfect start to my birthday trip. The charcuterie that came with it was also nice. I do agree with the blogs I have read that this is a great stop before touring more wineries.
My friends and I have a lovely first time visiting Domaine
My friends and I have a lovely first time visiting Domaine Carneros! Born and raised Sonoma County I've gotten into wine in only the last two years, which this place has been on my list for a little while. Driving past it on highway 12, you're in awe of how grand and beautiful it appears. As we drive onto the grounds the prettier it gets. Once you climb their staircase, the view only gets better from the gorgeous rolling hills of Sonoma/ Napa Valley. We came to the first building which appeared to be locked, but had signs directing us to the back building where we finally got to where the host stand is in the second building. We had made a reservation for a Tuesday a week prior for a birthday for a group of six. We ended up have one other person join us, luckily they we're flexible and accommodated our quick change of plans. We were seated in their covered patio area. It was a chilly day, but they had the heaters blasting. We all started off with a sparkling sampler which showcased four of their sparkling wines. I had wished they talked a little bit more about each wine, but they just poured our glasses and said a few things and went off. On top of our samplers, we had ordered a charcuterie and cheese plate. Was a pleasant selection of crackers and cheese, olives and salami. Overall, we had a nice time visiting. We enjoyed our snacks, loved the view, and stayed for the bubbles. Worth stopping by.

Beautiful winery! The charcuterie and cheese board was delicious and it was my first wine tasting so the sparkling wine flight was super fun. Staff was very educated and kind. It was raining when we went but it didn't impact our experience at all! Seating was comfy cozy and I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Napa
the environment and location was great.
would recommend the sparkling wine. the red wine was not to our liking. would consider going back with a larger group. but did not feel like a proper wine tasting experience. the wine was poured quickly with a rushed description of each.

Domaine Carneros is an iconic spot for those on a wine tasting journey in Napa. I am so glad this was one of my stops last weekend. I have been wanting to try their sparkling wines and Pinot Noir! I may have left with one or two bottles. :) Overall I had a great experience! The service and tasting menu were great. I really like our server he was very kind and informative. It honestly made our experience more worth it. Definitely will go back on a sunny day.
First, what has impressed me is their serene atmosphere.
Once you arrive there, you will figure out why this place is so popular, and how spectacular the chateau is will captivate you. Moreover, food and drink are considered elegant. Furthermore, I like how great the service is. For instance, staff members there were very welcoming and greeted me as a customer in a very polite way.
Domaine Carneros is quiet the chateau.
The gorgeous estate sitting atop a hill is the perfect welcome into Napa and the perfect place for a picturesque tasting. I'm not a sparkling girl, and almost, just almost, got pressured into going with the sparkling flight. But, I knew myself and added in the reds instead, which they do have! Give yourself time to walk around the property and take in the luxurious views!
Our first stop in the valley was probably my favorite.
The visit would have been worthwhile just for the setting--it's beautiful. While they specialize in sparkling wines, my pinot noir flight was also wonderful.

This was the first stop on our wine tour and it was my favorite one. The place is absolutely gorgeous from the time you get on the property. The service was amazing. The staff was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I would go back and recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Amazing scenery with indoor, atrium, and outdoor seating
Amazing scenery with indoor, atrium, and outdoor seating options! Wine was great and we did the cheese paring which I highly recommend! Our server was also very knowledgeable with his wine and we loved chatting with him.
One of my favorites spots as a Napa veteran!
Domaine Carneros is one of my favorite spots as a Napa veteran!!! I live in Northern California and I’m fortunate to be close enough to visit Napa regularly for the last 10 plus years and we love this winery. The grounds are gorgeous, the service is excellent and the sparkling rose is worth a tasting. Also would recommend for tastings, girls trip and couples adventures. Definitely worth a visit.
The BEST wine tasting of our entire weekend!
We engaged in 5 different winery tastings over a long weekend end and this was BY FAR our most favorite tasting. First, the property and grounds are beautiful! This place is reminiscent of traditional French Chateaus. Get there early and walk the grounds before going inside to attend a tasting. Domain Carneros is known for their Sparking Wines. We were fortunate to have Sherry, the Wine Fairy, as our guide. We were seated downstairs in an area that overlooks their production facilities. The view was meh, but that didn’t detract from the delicious tastings. We loved almost every we tried. We were so impressed both couples in our group joined their wine club. Sherry made our experience memorable. She is a gem! Also, they sell beautiful flutes for their sparkling wines at very reasonable prices. If you only have time for a couple of tastings, make sure this one is on your list!
This winery is just a gift shop really
The place is beautiful and has a beautiful view, but that’s really it. This winery is essentially a gift shop. You can try the wine but you are just another unit to them to get in and out. The staff isn’t rude or anything but there is no substance there, it is a gift shop. Nobody will tell you about the winery, there’s no tour of anything or history or detail about the wine. You just get seated, order and then you’re out. The worst part for us was the bugs. If you sit outside which most do, they do not have heaters and there are a lot of little gnats and bugs flying around. We all had a couple of bugs in every single glass by the end so just look out for that. You would think they’d be aware and not seat people outside or give covers for your glasses, just something to set on top. Anyway the wine itself is fine. View is fine. Staff isn’t super friendly it’s just fine.
Gorgeous hilltop castle
Driving up to this winery, you will feel like royalty! Gorgeous vineyard and estate. Decent size pours for tastings, well priced!
