Went there today and found out that Dumpling Galaxy is closed ... not like, 'it's Sunday and they're closed', more like it's PERMANENTLY closed. The restaurant gate was partly opened, looked like other restaurants in the mall is using Dumpling Galaxy's space as storage space. Tried calling the restaurant before I went but phone just rang and rang. Oh well, off to find another spot to eat at.
Be the first to ReplyI am not sure if this place is closed permanently.
I have tried at multiple different times, and it is always closed. I look forward to trying it if it is ever open again.

Veggie dumplings were good! My friend ordered the shrimp/egg dumplings and was given pork instead, but she loved them. This place is cash only, but there is a Chase across the street. Takeout only too, but perfect to take to go and eat in Kissena Park. Overall, great little bite for cheap too.
Be the first to ReplyJust, sadly, eh.
I've had way better soup dumplings. The vegetable dumplings were flavorless. The duck dumplings didn't taste right. They tried? I like the booths, but honestly the place was empty for lunch on a weekday. The prices were higher than they needed to be. I don't see this place lasting if they continue like this for much longer.
Be the first to ReplyOverall, awful experience here today.
Pork soup dumplings contained completely raw pork. The sesame chicken was basically McNuggets with some sticky sauce on top. The rice was dry, like it had been sitting around uncovered for a couple hours. On the positive side, the fish and chive dumplings were good, as were the mushroom and eggplant dumplings. But never coming back here!

This place has a great variety of dumplings however it is much overpriced for the food. 6 dumplings for close to 9 dollars and the service is so slow. It was interesting to see all the combination of dumplings however I will not be coming back to this restaurant due to the slow service and the over pricing. The food took more than 40 to come and they brought out our to go order before the actual food we order to dine in

It was raining and the guy behind the counter asked me to step in as I was waiting in line outside of the store. The lady was very patient when I making my decision. All the buns look uniform, there are price card with Chinese and English. Most buns are $1.50 The fillings are not too salty and not too mushy, has a nice bite to it. The buns are still moist after 10 min of walking. Cheap and quick place to eat. There is a table for eating while standing up inside the store.
Be the first to ReplyI love hole in the wall type places.
Their lamb and green squash dumplings are really good but that's all I've tried. Sometimes I randomly crave them
Be the first to ReplyA few very nice ladies working there.
She showed me different buns which had signs posted in Chinese and English. I bought vegetable bun, chive and egg, beef, and pork and celery? Smells like delicious buns
