I'm not sure how much I can add to the greatness that is Eataly but I will do my best. We came here for breakfast and to buy some ingredients for a big Italian dinner. First, the food at the quick service counters is so good; I got a panini and a hot chocolate, and partner got a latte and pastries but they were filling and delicious! The grocery store aspect of this place...wowzers. So much variety from produce to pasta to sauces and meats. The prices were a bit high compared to my regular FL prices for some things, but it's also NYC so I'm sure there's a premium on items so it's not like I was mad haha. All in all, if you enjoy the experience of grocery shopping and Italian food and culture, this is definitely a place to stop by if you're in the WTC complex.

This place is absolutely amazing! It's so good, and for a reasonable price too! We got the Fru Fru Pizza and it comes with 3 different kinds of pizza in one and it's so filling too! We also got the Prosciutto and Buffalo Mozzarella appetizer and it was also really good! The service is also amazing and they're super quick with your food and drinks! The way this place looks is outstanding too and the lighting is perfect for a fancy Italian meal!

If you are coming to Eetaly for home cooking ingredients you won't be disappointed. The selection includes high end flavors and fresh offerings. Being from out of town, we decided to give the restaurant a try. There were six of us total. We started with a charcuterie board which was nicely presented and included a decent variety of cheeses. The fresh ricotta was excellent. We also bought two appetizers which were explained as gooey melted cheese with a crostini. We paid extra to add truffle. I'm so sorry I wasted money on the additional truffles. The cheese was not as described. I'm not really sure how to describe it. One word I won't use is flavorful. Such a disappointment!!For dinner one person got a margarita pizza. It was good but the crust was a little thicker than other Italian pizzas we have eaten. Four people got the gnocchi in bolognese. I got the tagliatelle with guanciale and flava bean paste. They all sounded amazing in description but lacked in execution. Quite honestly, the food was all very meh. I would not return to eat here. That being said, our waiter, Michael, was phenomenal!!! So much positive energy with a genuine enjoyment of his job. He was so welcoming and accommodating!!

This place is so cute! The market has a lot to offer with so many different food options and even cute products and household items. We really enjoyed the restaurant - it's a little more lowkey but very cute. The service was great and the waiters were super attentive! We both got pizzas and they were amazing! I got the Fru Fru to try the different types and it was well worth it - all of them were great :) The cannolis were amazing and rich as well. Definitely will be back!

We went on Wednesday afternoon during the corporate lunch rush and my, what a time to be there. Beautiful, sunny views of FiDi and lively chatter all around. We were accommodated without a reservation. We each ordered the $22 lunch special which includes an appetizer and entree. Not bad for NYC but portions were a bit small. I ordered the fried zucchini and the ravioli. There were plenty of vegetarian options which was nice. We also ordered a bottle of Prosecco for the table, but it arrived after our food came, only after we reminded them to bring it. It would've been nice to have the drinks before our meals. Both of my dishes were too oily - I felt like I was eating butter while eating my ravioli. Overall, a decent experience, but food could have been better.

Love coming to Eataly -Downton they have so many options to choose from but the best part is that you can find products that are imported directly from Italy. We've been to the Ferenze restaurant and they have great lunch menu plus you can't beat the view. Service is always on point!
Be the first to ReplyWe were surprised by the great food at Eataly NYC Downtown.
We didn't expect much from this place, but the food turned out much better than what we expected. Highly recommended as a casual dining place if you are visiting downtown New York City.

Ehhh this place was alright but not great for pasta!! Came here after class with my friend because we were both craving spaghetti. The restaurant took a little to find because from the main store since there are no clear signs directing you from the main eataly grocery store. It was really fun to come here though since I have never been to an eataly before! The one in my home town is always crowded beyond belief. The restaurant is beyond beautiful with a large window that extends the whole back facade of it. We went during the sunset and the view was really beautiful while we were eating our food. The pasta wasn't necessarily the most expensive that I've seen in the city but it was also 18 dollars for a bowl of eh spaghetti. The noodles weren't cooked long enough so it was kind of not the best to chew through. I don't know if anything else on the menu is better but the spaghetti was just alright.

Delicious pasta & great space for groups! I visited this location for the first time with a group of 8 friends, and we all had a great time during dinner. For appetizers, we ordered calamari and burrata. Calamari was good, but the burrata wasn't what we were expecting. For the entree, I ordered Tagliatelle alla Norcina. I would suggest this plate if you are starving and desire meaty pasta. This heavy dish has a decent amount of sausages and plenty of mushrooms. The flavor is rich but not overpowering, so it might go well with red wine (I did not drink it this time). The rest of the table shared two pizzas and two plates of pasta, and they were all satisfied. I would recommend the restaurant for groups. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The space is comfortable for groups, and the scenery is pleasant. I might not go back soon because I am rarely on this side of town, but I won't mind revisiting the venue.
Be the first to ReplyThe pizza and pasta were amazing! The pasta was cooked
The pizza and pasta were amazing! The pasta was cooked exactly how I asked (a little softer than al dente) and everything tasted super flavorful. We asked for the Tre Gusti pizza so we each had a little sample of the best pizza toppings as an appetizer for the group. The crust was thin and crunchy but soft at the same time, and the sauce wasn't overwhelming or too scarce - just the right amount. The location had a great view of the sunset on the second floor and the environment was very relaxed. The service was kind and attentive. I would say the only downside would be having to pay for water. We weren't given the option for tap water in the beginning and would have been charged for the distilled water had we not said we didn't know that distilled water was extra. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable time here and would definitely come again if in the area.

We originally wanted to grab a quick bite at the Gansevoort Liberty Market but ended up at Eataly instead. It was busy, but there was no wait. I've always been a fan of Eataly and have frequented the Century City location in LA. Insalata Caprese (5/5): Large slices of heirloom tomatoes and mozarella cheese drizzled with evoo. It was refreshing at first but cheese can get a bit much after a few pieces. Definitely good for sharing.Lo Spaghetto al Pomodoro (5/5): Simple yet flavorful spaghetti dish with only a handful of ingredients. The crushed tomatoes were definitely the star and tasted absolutely delicious. Tiramisu (4/5): One of the better tiramisu I've had. However, it is very sweet so I wanted more rich and dark flavors from the cocoa powder or espresso to shine thru. I also wish there were more lady fingers since every bite was packed with mostly mascarpone and cream only.No complaints on food except for some notes on the tiramisu. Server was super nice and friendly from start to finish. I am docking off a star due to the two obvious waits (one for the main course and then another on the dessert).

I normally love this place, but I have to say I am very disappointed with the service I received at the dine in Napoli Pizzeria section (not the flatbread Pizza). They wouldn't even let us sit in another place even though the place was empty, terrible service. I would recommend staying away from this section.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent experience all around.
Food was perfect and the service was exceptional! Huge shout out to the young person working the gelato counter who stayed open a tiny bit past 8pm to make sure my kids had a nice treat. This is customer service! Greta job!

Another food hall with all of the same type of cuisine, Eataly is upstairs in a giant mall, where it pretty much has the top floor to itself. ย A bit confusing to find if you're specifically looking for it, but eventually we got there almost by accident. ย While I just wanted an afternoon gelato, had I had more time and appetite I would have availed myself of the various Italian specialties. ย As it was, I opted for a nice gelato cup, which was good if overpriced because of where we were. ย Both flavors I tried were just about right, so no complaints with the taste, but I did wish they had a few more exotic flavors on hand.

Terrrible service, took for ever to serve us, a party of seven, the waiter said he was really busy in the other side, besides the bad services also rude. We were the forgotten table.

ย Big place with multiple themed food spots scattered in an open marketplace. ย Rooftop dining is great too, very picturesque.
