Great service and delicious food
Drinks and dinner with friends. We were seated in the bar and enjoyed the live entertainment. Service was on point! My friend and I enjoyed the Hope Diamond drink, hubs had smoked old fashioned. Caesar salad to start and branzino and ahi tuna for entrees. Both were very tasty!
Be the first to ReplyGood service, food, but pricey
We gathered here for our granddaughters 25th birthday. The atmosphere is good, and the food was very good. My son and family ordered the seafood tower. The price just went up to $140, but it was enough for 3 people. The assortment they said was excellent. My wife and I ordered the 8 oz filets. They were very good but for $48 they could have come with a small side. The side orders were $12 and up. Our server, Caryn D was excellent and there for us at all times. Overall, very good meals, and a great time. I guess I will just have to get used to the high prices since the 2020 election.
Be the first to ReplyFish, Steak, Ho-hum
It's more like a steakhouse than a fish house, but the fish choices were good. I was hosting a group of 11. The atmosphere was fine in a traditional steakhouse manner. The service could not have been better. The food could have been. It wasn't at all bad, but it seemed somewhat "as usual." The fish was dry, one person said. Others indicated that, as I, they thought the food was good, but no OMGs. Better than Shanahan's, that's for sure, but that's not hard to be, in my opinion.
Be the first to ReplyGreat dinner, but the Band was way to loud for the venue.
Food - 5, Service (Jason) - 10!!, noise - 0! Great dinner in the bar, food outstanding, drinks excellent, service outstanding. Noise, after the band started, was terrible. Decibels 90-100 according to SoundPrint. Could not hear a conversation across the table. Asked the Manager to turn it down a couple times to no avail. If you go on the weekend, ask for table 31, behind the wine wall to be away from the bar noise. That said, I think it was the band that was too loud for the venue (April 22). Great food, good drinks, excellent service (thanks Jason!!). Noise, terrible.

Eddie V's is possibly the best restaurant in the Denver area right now. Granted we haven't tried them all but we do dine out a lot, and when it comes to fresh seafood and impeccable service, the only other place that comes to mind is Sushi Den. From the ambience to the service to the food, everything at Eddie V's clicked on all cylinders. Our server Stephanie was as professional, knowledgeable and personable as they come. She was always around when we needed her and yet we never felt overserved either. And don't get me started on the food! --Oysters: fresh as they come, served with a perfect mignonette. --Tableside Steak Tartare: expertly prepared at the table with a spot on flavor profile. --Tuna Tartare: absolutely fresh and delicious. Georges Bank Scallops: simply the best prepared scallops I've had in 10 years. --Chilean Sea Bass: my wife fell is love with this fish and preparation. Eddie V's was just about perfection from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I have not experienced a finer restaurant in quite a long time, but this place left us speechless. I have one last word: go!
Be the first to ReplyA Perfect Evening!
What a perfect Sunday evening! Our server Sophie was incredible. We had a 6 year old grandson with him and she treated him like a mini-adult. He loved it! We started out with cocktails and appetizers. Oysters, calimari, lobster tacos and homemade bread. All were perfect and all were devoured. The guys all had steaks that were perfectly cooked. A lobster tail appeared and was incredible. We split the 60 oz Tomahawk ribeye. Wow, what a fine piece of meat. We all shared the crab fried rice. Highly recommended. Dessert was the Flaming Bananas Foster Cake. If you don’t love this dessert then just go home. The service was 5 Star all the way. The food is 5 stars all the way. This is the perfect place for a perfect evening. Don’t forget Happy Hour, Sunday-Thursday, 4pm-630. A great deal.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, great service!
My son took me here for my birthday. The restaurant decorated the table and gave me a handwritten birthday card. The food was great as was the service. The steaks and seafood were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I can't wait to go back!
Be the first to ReplyExceptional Response
This is a revised review due to the gracious response of the managing partner, Matthew Youssef. Matthew invited my husband and me back and we had a 'do-over.' Our servers Jeremy and Nick were both superb. We had the lobster tacos, the bourbon-glazed salmon, and the 36-ounce tomahawk steak (a special that night). Everything was exceptional. Thank you, Matthew, Jeremy, and Nick,

Loved the ambiance right from the entry. Our server Eric set the tone for an amazing evening. He was funny yet gave us space and time to relax and enjoy. The food was great. Crab cakes made gluten free were a treat. Scallops, sea bass and steaks were super. The live music was fun and at an appropriate volume that we could enjoy and yet still converse. I was so pleased with our evening. I would highly recommend trying this place.
Be the first to ReplyImpeccable!
Literally amazing. I normally give a lengthy descriptive review; however I will be quoting my boyfriend instead. “Service - Impeccable Food - Impeccable Quit being a cheapskate and get your a$$ here.” Also, valet is complimentary, but again don’t be a cheapskate. Enjoy! 😊
Be the first to ReplyNicely done
We were seated right on time in comfortable seating. The bread came out quickly and was nice and hot. We each got the lobster bisque which was really nice with a large chunk of lobster, bruschetta, and creme fraiche. I had the chilean sea bass which was just a tiny bit overcooked but that's likely a personal preference and a side of scallops which were outstanding. Hubby had the crab stuffed shrimp and said it was wonderful. We decided to try the bananas foster for dessert and it was just yummy. The best thing was the lobster mashed potatoes. I'll be dreaming about those! There's a lengthy wine list but a very limited list for just a glass. Nonetheless the malbec I had was very nice. We had asked that no parsley garnish be put on the food and the first time it came out there was a lot of parsley on everything. They fixed it and did do quickly, but why chefs feel the need to bury everything in parsley is beyond me. Seems to me that's a bit of a lazy garnish. The dining room was buzzing and we could hear the trio in the bar area. We were able to hold a normal conversation. We will be back.

Jimmy is the best valet person in Greenwood Village. I was without a reservation for a Friday night and Jimmy went inside Eddie V's and came out with a reservation. Terrific service and a great attitude from Jimmy.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Banana Fosters
I went during restaurant week so the prices were well worth it. The banana fosters and butter cake were phenomenal. Lobster bisque had good flavor and creaminess. I could have used a bit more seasoning or mustard glaze on the salmon but cooked perfectly. Overall great meal and service. I was impressed.
Be the first to ReplyValentines Dinner
As someone who frequents many local area restaurants, I must say I had the most amazing experience at Eddie V's. I ran into Jimmy the Valet Attendant at another establishment, and he recommended this steak house for a romantic valentines day dinner. Jimmy was amazing assisting me with reservations, as well as valet parking my car when we arrived. Armando was our server and he was amazing. Kudos to the entire team, I will be sure to come back for all of my steak house needs. I will also be sure to recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.
