Made our family trip a great one.
Modern, clean design for the rooms. The bathrooms are roomy, have a small vanity desk as well, a motion-detector night light so you can go without turning on any lights in the middle of the night. The shower was functionally roomy. The beds were real
Great culver option
Really well located in Culver City, clean efficient stylish rooms. Friendly staff, especially the valet team who were always ready to help. Would stay again!
Unable to enjoy a beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel with rooftop swimming pool. Unfortunately the swimming pool is being rented for kids parties instead of making it available for guests to enjoy.
I LOVE this hotel
The hotel defines “hospitality”! Must go if you stay in the area. The team is so attentive and foods are great! Close to Santa Monica beach and not far from Hollywood and the Universal Studios. 15 mins drive to the airport
Wonderful hotel with great service!

They are supposed to reopen in Spring 2024 in Beverly Hills. I was here for the first time on Friday 12/29. I have been passing this restaurant for over a year and finally on the recommendation of friends went for dinner. Everything was excellent. Dr
Love Etta.
We usually go for brunch or Birthday celebrations. The wines, service, and ambiance are amazing.
My family went here for NYE.
We were greeted by our friendly waiter Alex. He informed us of the specials and even explained the vegan options for myself. He brought over some bread and roasted avocado on the house and really made our experience enjoyable. Apparently, this was th

It is rather unfortunate to think this review is likely meaningless since Etta is closing. Luckily it is being quickly taken over by another company and flipped into a new Italian restaurant with the same staff, so hopefully what I write here holds t
I came here for a date.
There's valet parking on the side of the restuarant and public parking on the other side. If you are wearing heels or on time, valet is the way to go. The inside of the resturant is beautiful and dimmed lightning. The service was great. The server wa

I am so sad that they are closing at the end of the year! That being said, clearly I love all of the food and drinks here. The Cacio E Pepe is delicious and probably my favorite dish there. I also really enjoyed the Charred Eggplant, the Bubbling Sh
Right off their website," Etta: Keeper of hearth.

That's amazing! Came here for Sunday brunch and was blown away by the service, the ambience and the food!
Glad I was able to give Etta a try.
Establishment is a cute date spot or a great spot for groups as well. For food. . . Started off with the Focaccia. The top crust had a really nice crisp to it. Thought it tasted better on its own without the ricotta. Young Farm Green Salad, nothing to

Maybe one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant...waiter was so rude. The people serving the water were great...he should learn from them. He was then mad at his 13.5% tip, that he didn't even deserve.
Came here with a large group.
I don't drink alcohol but they were a hit with the group.Had a taste of two salads classic Caesar, and burata salad. Too be honest not my favorite salads. They had a slight bitter note, which could work with the flavor and balancing, but I think wasn
Etta is Excellent.
As reviewed, the service, ambiance and food are of high quality. I can recommend the bread/butter, Branzino, mashies and special budino desert. The wine list is eclectic (the tap wine is just ok) and the place is huge, offering plenty of (loud) indoo
Elevator noise ruined a beautiful hotel experience
Absolutely gorgeous hotel and restaurant spaces. However, I highly recommend you do not get a room by the elevator. We were up most of the night with a thundering noise constantly coming through the walls. Avoid room 425. However, the front desk agen
I love the ambiance of this place.
Super pretty, the plating of the food is divine. Taste is good as well. I feel like the restaurant might be understaffed, or our server just didn't really feel like serving us. Definitely went to multiple tables around us, but wasn't really intereste

The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, however the seating is just way to close! Everyone is just packed in like sardines. So if you would like to have a private conversation with your dinner party forget it! The service was minimal, and we sat wai
Ok had a reservation for indoors, got put outside.
Heater was busted so asked if they could replace it, ok fine. Food was fine but very over priced. Service was very slow and had to flag down waiter multiple times. The real EEK moment was when I ordered a glass of wine, it was dropped off and let me
Great food, vibes and energy.
Love this place! Would highly recommend. Staff is friendly and helpful!
Beware of the hidden Destination fee
An extra $30 per night was added to our room at checkout. This was taken out of the pending credit card charge for incidentals. Apparently there are perks you can get because of this destination fee however during check in or communications we were n
Great location - nice hotel
Culver city is a great walk around town to everything you need and centrally located to all of LA. The Shay is a nice hotel with a great gym. We did not use the restaurant, bar, pool but all looked nice. Slight dings because valet parking only at $5

Everything you need in One place
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at The Shay by Hyatt in Los Angeles. After spending many trips staying in the West Hollywood area, I have decided that staying away from the hustle and bustle is best for me and the Culver City Area is just amazing
Was more than a hotel, it was a fun destination.
The hotel was very modern and hip. With a lobby bar, pool room, area's to sit, talk or work. With two restaurants and meeting space. The rooms were clean and spacious. The food at the two restaurants were great. A roof top hotel and Etta's. Wha
A Gem of a Hotel With a Great Location (But a Few Flaws)
I have top tier (“Globalist”) status with Hyatt; I spend a lot of nights each year in hotel rooms including over 60 nights with Hyatt. We had a pleasant four night stay last week but not without a few issues. I used an upgrade certificate that
Chic and Sexy
Great vibe and atmosphere. The food at Etta is very good but avoid the rooftop restaurant where food and service is very poor. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff is accommodating and eager to please.
