This dinner and cabaret experience was truly amazing! The food was delicious and plentiful, and the atmosphere was vibrant and entertaining. Chef Michael was tentative and vital in making this meal unforgettable. The cabaret was top notch, with an impressive lineup of talented performers. The drinks were refreshing and the service was excellent. The evening was truly a magical experience. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I were not hotel guests, just enjoying a bike ride and poked our heads in. We were quite shy and wondered if we belonged. And then Ty (may have the spelling wrong; tall, handsome, braided hair and eyeglasses) approached us. We asked if it'd be ok to look around and he welcomed us with grace, kindness, and warmth, so much so that my now-fiancé took him as a sign that it was the moment to drop to one knee and propose to me, which he did a few minutes later in the courtyard. I said yes. I help run an uber-lux hotel in Upstate, NY (The Maker Hotel) and am a 25+ year hospitality professional. Ty is emblematic of what all of us hoteliers should strive for in our work: authentic, available, welcoming...a friend. All my respect admiration to him. Thank you, Ty.

Faena is one of the most elegant & vibrant hotels in South Beach. An upscale sophisticated crowd, it has a very passionate & exciting vibe once you enter the lobby... beautiful murals everywhere and lots of color. Los Fuegos restaurant is an absolute must along with the "living room"... it's definitely an immersive experience, and I highly recommend going. If you're open to spending the money, you will not be disappointed, it's a gorgeous property that's beautifully maintained.

I haven't stayed in the hotel proper but I've had the pleasure of attending more than a few cultural events here! The beautiful cultural vibe starts with their lobby art - philosophical concepts turned into art that will make some folk adjust their tinfoil hats. Yummy aromatherapy in the lobby as well as comfy settee. Keep going out toward the terrace, you can either scoot over to the restaurants on the left or right, or keep walking further to the beach. See the wooly mammoth sculpture? I've taken my share of photos there and perhaps pondered the meaning of opulence and gold near the waterfront. You can either cut into the little niche bar or continue walking to the beach itself. My most recent cultural happenings on the Faena sand include the illuminated barricade and Living Room Exhibits during Art Basel as well as the second round of DayBreaker. DayBreaker is a conscious rave - no alcohol - on the sand behind the beautiful Faena property starting with an hour of yoga on the sand and climaxing in a 2 hour dance party right the water. When I've gotten hungry after all the art culture, I've enjoyed dinner either outdoor at Living Room, Gitano or Pao (which I've reviewed separately). Is it pricey? Yep! But it's definitely a great spot for a first date or otherwise fun night out.
Be the first to ReplyMany are having the same experience here.
Profiling, discrimination, a warped culturally elitist staff basing wealth off a big watch and ripped jeans. (Would love to be a fly on the wall at your corporate training!) Staying in a suite on property and was told I was dressed inappropriately to get into library lounge. Ok then, "where can guests have drinks" apparently no where at the property at night. Don't support these people.

A total clown show! The operators - people like Kevin and Aaron - are ridiculous! What kind of so-called luxury hotel has young clowns acting like gatekeepers and preventing guests from speaking with restaurants or front desk. Very bad experience, supposed decent hotels should do better at the front line! Stay away!

We were driving around South Beach doing errands and passed by the fabulous Faena Hotel. It is a well known hotel with a very good reputation. I have never been inside but my daughter has. So, we took a very small tour inside the lobby on our way to the outdoors in the back, but there was a private party going on. We gracefully left and promised ourselves to go back to finish our tour another time.

Totally disappointed, that an Argentinian inspired hotel doesn't offer to watch the Argentina vs. Croatia soccer worlds cup game! The negligence of the management should be reevaluated in this matter. If Mr. Faena's hotel doesn't participate in the winning streak of ARGENTINA,than who should?Sincerely yours,Jonathan Jakus PS: I will watch the game the One Hotel.

When I visit Miami I normally stay at the Four Seasons or the St. Regis but this time I stayed at this beautiful Faena Hotel full of art and great people. Classy elite with a great restaurant inside. Los Fuegos Restaurant was a great plus especially since the weather was not great for going very far.

The hotel never seems to fail, between the decor, the hospitality, and the views you can tho wrong with a stay or even a quick visit for a cocktail. The beach chairs they offer have wonderful service and the outside bar has some of the nicest and attending bartenders on the beach area. I'll definitely be back. Always a true pleasure when I visit this hotel.
Be the first to ReplyFour locals came for a friend's birthday Dinner.
First we waiting 75 minutes to be seated for dinner at Pao. All food was solid and tasty but drinks were slow. They said the wine came from another part of the building and my Bordeaux wasn't served until after the second appetizer was served...But the kicker here is four gays were hate crimed at the club below. We were just dancing minding our own business, and we were basically beaten by the bigotist Staff for no reason. Luckily we have videos from start to finish and we have a team of lawyers. It's a shame people and places like this still exist especially in Miami. No one that respects human life, decency, and kindness should come here.

Saw another review that described this place as pretentious and overpriced and I think that's the perfect way to sum this place up.Music is awful and drinks aren't anything special but happen to be the most expensive I've experienced in Miami Beach. I think they cater to an older, outdated crowd. Plus the staff is so rude.
Be the first to ReplyThe best in everything.
Absolutely stunning views and decorations. The food at Pao is delicious
Be the first to ReplyJust had the worst experience at Faena.
I frequent a lot of nice high end restaurants, and thought Faena would be nice place to listen to The French Horn Collective. No manners here. The girl hostess at the door to the Living Room ignored us at the door while we stood there, the other gentleman didnt even look at us... then by looking at us from head to toe TWICE the girl approached us and said we couldnt come in like this, in Miami Beach, in the middle of summer! then proceeded to ask if were staying in the hotel? As if it was relevant. My husband is wearing a button down shirt, im wearing a long dress, yet she said we werent dressed appropiately. Faena needs to carefully evaluate who they hire, theres certain ways to deal with customers, they dont have that here. Will not recommend, this is what happens when trailer park manners meet high end positions

Can I say that pictures don't show? Locatedon Mid Miami Beach beautiful beaches andright on Collins Ave the Faena Hotel is theplace to be for both locals and tourist alike. They have two restaurants that can becompared to the best in SFL, Fuego(Argentinean) and PAO (Asian Fusion).Place is luxurious and beautifully decoratedwith a large friendly staff that keeps placesuper clean and and running flawlessly.Don't forget to check out their PAO theaterwith THIRST their burlesque show onweekends. I highly recommend this hotelwith their two restaurants when in SFL forbusiness or pleasure.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful setting, horrible service.
I've never felt so rushed to eat, to order, and to pay. Our waitress wanted us out as soon as We sat down. How horrible?! I was here for a pre-birthday celebration and the energy from my server was off. I was rushed to order. To eat. And to pay. I had to restate this twice. Perhaps someone will do something about it.
Be the first to ReplyLocals and tourists.
Want to visit a pretentious overpriced establishment that profiles and rejects guests? Want to spend your hard earned money on a place that creates the illusion of exclusivity? Well you've found it.Not a wealthy cougar or young attractive female ?Don't make the commute and expect admission into any one of the bars. Visited last night. Female bouncer with British accent rejected "three guests" , citing capacity and requirement to purchase a table, while letting in approximately 15 other guests , of which did not have reservations or intent to "buy a table". Blatantly disrespected my female professional friend stating there was a dress code and sarcastically responded that we wouldn't be getting in. Disappointed but not surprised that this place lives up to Miami expectations. Tourists , skip this place

We were told we could not go to the bar because my husband was too casual(we just came from the beach). Was told it is on the website but it is not. While I waited for my husband to retrieve our vehicle, I saw multiple people under dressed per the supposed standards. I took several pictures. This place is obviously profiling on who ever they think has money. Very stupid to go off of that. I intentionally made the picture blurry but as you can see ...how is this different from my husband's shorts and tee shirt? Really do better.
Be the first to ReplyIt was a Valentine's Day weekend.
We decided to stay at Faena Hotel and we were not disappointed. A very classy upscale resort with young nicely dressed crowd and perhaps best Argentian restaurant in town. There was live music and super tasty food. We got to experience their famous spa and sauna and it was amazing indeed.
