Excellence in Simgapore
We went in this restaurant in a Sunday evening. Everything we had was really good. Starting from bread with anchovies, and other appetizers through the lamb shoulder. We have been impressed from the quality and taste. Also price was really reasonable for what we had. L

We picked this restaurant at random, and were so glad we did! All of the tapas was great, from the anchovies to the tomato toast, to the patatas bravos to the croquettes. The highlight, however, was the chocolate fondant cake, oh my lord it was delicious. Great wine list, good cheese, friendly service. Loved it!

Rare find the combination of cool vibe, excellent service, high quality menu and good quality/price ratio. Special mention for the bartenders. Reservation is essential. We returned twice. Our favorites: charcoal-Grilled Octopus&Pork Jowl and Broken Eggs&Crispy Potatoes.

I walked into the restaurant and they decided not to give us a table even at the bar though it was empty be a use we are dark skin I went online and booked a table on the bar and walked in then and there. A white man walked in after us and given a chair and without batting an eye lid. It's pathetic this day and age that a restaurant will treat people differently depend on their skin color. They don't understand we people spend more than they expect us to spend.

This ring Tapas Bar/Restaurant in the Clarke Quay area serves up the most amazing Tapas inspired dishes in an upmarket type style. The food is not rustic as normal tapas can be, but plated with exceptional care & attention. We had a seat at the Bar, which gives you full view of the Kitchen & the creative area, where the dishes are assembled. We were attended to by Jordi, who was knowledgeable & extremely helpful in ensuring we understood the construction of all our dishes. Not like normal Tapas from Barcelona, but more upmarket. This is now one of our favourite restaurants through our international travels & we will be back.

Second visit there. The service can be improve. Overall food taste is excellent. Ordered 4 Tapas, 1 Salad and 2 main course. Started with Smoked Cantabrico Anchovies on Charcoal Brioche with Salted Caramel Butter, Patatas Bravas with Aioli & Spicy Brava Sauce, Porcini Mushrooms Croquetas with Black True Sauce and Foie Gras Terrine & Arenkha Caviar in Crispy Phyllo Sandwich. Follow by Beetroot Salad with Strawberry, Macadamia, Horseradish & Smoked Olive Oil Ice Cream. Main course is Suckling Pig Terrine & Hokkaido Scallops Paella with Aioli Sauce. Paella with 2 pieces of roast pork and 2 pieces scallops. I would said is over price. Lastly, Josper-grilled Pork Ribs with Pumpkin Textures & Mediterranean Herbs Dressing was fantastic. Expected damage: S$80 per pax

As with other reviews, portions were small for the ambitious price. Food itself tasted good. Minimum amount to spent is also a bit rich. Try a time limit on tables.

Great food... Great Service...Nice seating...Comfy seating and interesting decor. Book in advance to get your table!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Food. Great People.
Recommended by a good friend to celebrate his birthday. Served by a staff named Noi. Very friendly and so were the other staff. Food was tasty indeed. For starters, we had the Anchovy and Patatas Bravas, both came in 2 pieces each. Lamb Shoulder for mains and Squid Ink Paella. Cheesecake with Vanilla Ice-cream for dessert. If you are a wine lover, they carry mainly Spanish wine, with some others. Good Food. With Great People serving, it made the experience a great one.

Over priced and very tiny portions. Food was good but left you feeling hungry after spending over $150 for 2 people. Lots of show but little substance. Sold tap water for $6

Be the first to ReplyGood food but sour experience.
Food is good, portions are however, incredibly small. Did a booking online, was told only bar table is available, on actual day, several non-bar tables were empty, perhaps there was cancellation maybe. Staff tried to upsell their inhouse bottled water, am fine with that, but mentioned 'due to environmental reasons, we do not serve tap water, like seriously? If you gonna charge for water, just do it. Dun give me bs on this. Nevertheless, the staff did provide 2 complementary water after I ordered 2 Sangria. For the Sangria, portion was incredibly tiny after considering the huge piece of Ice in it. Before we could finish our food, 2 different staff offered the clear our plates. Barely there for an hour, already felt un-welcomed. Overall, the food was great, Portions are incredibly small, shrinkflation at its finest, very turned off by the service standards. Diners be warned that the Bar tables are located near their open air kitchen, hence could feel abit warmer. would give a 3.5/5

Amazing food and service from the crew! They even gave us a cake for our wedding anniversary Highly recommend the paella and octopus!

Great and highly smily service. Lot of attention from the waitress. Really fine and tasty food. Lot of flavours. Really impressed by the tapas and the paella.Less by the dessert. Cocktail are great and wine was good. Gluten free option are numerous and team well aware of this. We’ll come back for sure.

I didn’t know about this place until almost all COVID-19 restrictions have been removed. Since the pandemic, a vast majority of restaurants have scaled back their menu or quality has declined. So lucky to have found this place! The menu is not incredibly extensive however the items available is just right for a hearty meal. Thanks for the excellent service; once seated, we were served water so we can remove our masks, staff provided great menu recommendations, dishes are served one by one, staff describe the dishes before digging in, they even bother to change plates between courses. Dishes are served in an aesthetically pleasing manner, filled with high flavor complexities and curiosity. The restaurant was also thoughtful enough to offer a cupcake for birthday celebration even without asking. Overall, we enjoyed the food & service, a positive dining experience. Don’t have to look far for a fantastic meal. This is the place to be!

Amazing food and a relaxed vibe. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth a visit. Desserts were incredible and catered for a bespoke cocktail. Will definitely be coming back.
Be the first to ReplySpanish Food on the Beach
The restaurant is on the beach in Sentosa. There is indoor seating, as well as seating in a deep long veranda where we sat, and a few tables on the beach.
The evenings are cool, and the views spectacular.
The restaurant serves Spanish fare, and we ordered tapas as starters. The vegetarian starters- mushrooms croquetas and cauliflower - were unusual and excellent as was the sourdough bread. I had the ham croquetas for starters, and a chicken and red prawn paella for the main course, The dessert was a molten chocolate lava cake with a scoop of ice cream: one was enough to be shared by four.
The service was discreet, the wine list was adequate. The meal does tend to feel heavy, but then it’s Spanish food, meant as indulgence.
Fabulous
The minute you enter FOC, no it doesn't mean free of charge, its Catalan for Fire, there's an exciting energy & buzz. The wait staff are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable.
Dishes like Patas Bravas, deep fried potato rectangles with Aioli & a spicy sauce, the garlic prawns, Scallops in Benito sauce, Pork belly.... I could go on but you go & experience them yourself.
The list of Spanish delights is endless. I'd go back but again but ran out of time.
A must in Singapore
Authentic, interesting, expensive
I really enjoyed our meal at FOC. We had a very professional server and the food was very authentic and delicious. The only negative was that the dishes seemed very small for their prices.

Delicious Spanish food and good service. Staff gives good food recommendation and also gave us some sample desserts to try. :)
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Spanish fare
Authentic tapas with creative flair. Good techiques of mainstay Spanish cooking (skill with potatoes, eggs, frying, paella). Spanish dishes vary from region to region, this an authentic rendition of tapas suited to Singapore in a good way (less salt for example). Good to have a sherry list but by the glass options are less extensive. Good service, gave a simple dessert for family birthday celebration.

seating versus the bar counter. We knew what to order as we had gone through the reviews & recommendations from other patrons. The service staff Phelps and Suresh were super friendly and attentive to our needs. They really looked after us well and also gave their recommendations for what to order (though we knew exactly what we wanted). We picked a lovely medium bodied red wine 🍷. The potato bravas was gorgeous and so was the prawns. For our mains we ordered their famous (highly recommended) Squid ink paella 🥘- order wise the 3 dishes were just about adequate for 2 but we decided to go overboard with the desserts. Both the desserts were stunning ! Check out the pics. We will surely be back here again to try some of the other dishes. The chef Xavier was very friendly as well. We were transported back to Catalunya on a wonderful gastronomic experience.
