Amazing vegan restaurant .
My favorite dish that I got was the enchiladas and beans. Everything comes fresh and organic. They also have good margaritas
Be the first to ReplyFood is bland no flavor no sauces that it comes with.
I can cook better than this cook.

Food good, solid, but nothing to cry home about, really good taco, the sauce is good, chips were really good, NA drinks were really good. Fantastic service, everyone was so kind. Ambiance was nice, could have been a little better with the lights down and different music but nothing really to complain about. If you are vegan, for sure recommend
Be the first to ReplyCame here when I was dating a Vegan girl.
Ambience was fantastic in comparison to other Vegan establishments visited, as well as food presentation. The food itself I guess you could say tested a little better then other vegan spots, however still bland and pretty much everything tastes the same.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful restaurant.
Indoor and outdoor seating available. Some of the best vegan food I've had. Everything was flavorful and filling. The menu had so many great options to choose from. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Be the first to ReplyRenowned for their delicious plant-based Mexican cuisine.
They have unique dishes including a tower of spuds, huevos rancheros, and personally my favorite dish, their take on a Tacobell Crunchwrap!! The restaurant features a nice, relaxing outdoor seating that contributed to a positive dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for both vegans and non-vegans alike seeking tasty, innovative Mexican food in a welcoming atmosphere right by the beach.
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambience- the patio is so warm and lively.
Honestly I loved the idea of vegan Mexican food in theory but the food was kind of bland! The best things our table got were the queso fundido (but very small portion) and the crunch wrap (huge portion). The rest was all kind of bland, missing the spice and flavors I associate with authentic Mexican food. My enchiladas de calabaza were just a mushy pile of something kind of sweet. Most of the time, when I eat at a traditional Mexican restaurant, I'm basically eating vegetarian anyway, so I'm not some meat-lover. But this menu was just kind of mid. Even the hot sauce was pretty bland. Overall it's a fun night out but not super satisfying Mexican food IMO, and that's not because it was missing meat- it was missing flavor.

The food and service was good for it being a vegan restaurant. I understand the location has a-lot to do with the price but I did think it was a little steep for what you get. For instance I ordered french toast and I believe it was like 20 dollars for two slices The ambiance is nice, definitely an ig food spot.

The space is beautiful, the staff is lively and very attentive. The food... for the hype that is created, my party expected more. The best dish was the queso fundido and guava cheesecake. Other items, like the green pozole and madre bowl, lacked flavor. Reviews of late say the same thing in regards to taste. Let's add a bit more spice, chef?

My boyfriend and I went here last year and the food was AMAZING! I had the elote and it was delicious, with great seasoning. However! the services was extremely slow, and we had a flight to catch afterward which made it a bit of a stressful visit. The server was plenty sweet and kind, just very slow in taking our orders, getting the food, and giving us the check. Snails pace! We left the restaurant older than were when we came in.

I really enjoyed my experience here with my friends the other night. I absolutely loved ambiance and the food was fantastic. Celeste gave the most amazing service. She was fun and full of energy and made our time here worth while. If you're ever around, stop by and try the amazing food! Thank you Celeste!
Be the first to ReplyYes, go here.
Have a group? Definitely go here! The ambiance is so lovely, the food is great, and the drinks are fantastic. Also, ask for Helton ("H" is silent) to be your server. He is so fun & attentive. He definitely added to our great experience last night.

I was excited to try Gracias Madre, but it ended up being a disappointing experience. Here's why: a friend of mine arranged a group dinner. She has celiac disease (is gluten-free), but had eaten here before and knew safe options were available. The queso fundido, guac, and salsas were fine and I really liked the thin, crispy chips (she had veggies to dip separately). Everyone ordered, had drinks, etc. and just before our entrees were served, she was told that the taco she ordered may be contaminated with an area they make gluten products on. Therefore, she had to cancel it. To add salt to the wound, she asked for a small side of queso for the grilled vegetables (the only thing she could eat) and was told they can't give small sides of it. To not be able to make this small request possible or make an exception after someone who has an allergy is told she can't eat what she ordered (even though she was told it was gluten-free safe before ordering) is poor business and customer service. The irony is that she was the one that brought our party here - had we known otherwise, we definitely would've gone elsewhere. Again, she had eaten here before so perhaps the chef or staff was different or more accommodating last time, but there are even gluten-free symbols on the menu which apparently are not to be trusted. I will say the crunch wrap was delicious and much larger than I was expecting. The burrito and tropical bowl seemed popular, although the Pozole and burger were not very preferred. The mushroom taco went uneaten because it was not liked. We had asked for more chips but they never came and the prices for almost every drink and entree are close to $20. All this considered, in addition to pretty slow service, I would not want to return or recommend this restaurant to others.
Be the first to ReplyAs far as vegan/organic/ plant based goes it's okay.
The ambience is nice and the service was amazing, however the food was lacking. I felt the food was bland and they had limited options. Common for vegan places but not very nut allergy friendly yet the staff were very accommodating. Overall, there are better vegan mexican options in the area.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely loved all the vegan options they offered .
I got the Nachos and cauliflower tacos. The staff was very friendly and they even sale their own cookbook which I purchased. I'll definitely be returning. The ambiance was very aesthetically pleasing. It's a cute vibe and it's a dog friendly restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gracias Madre and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. Being an all-vegan restaurant, I was excited to see what the menu had to offer, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and flavorful, with a great range of options to choose from.I visited for brunch and loved the fun and lively vibe of the place. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I felt right at home. The service was also excellent - the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Be the first to ReplyWent here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised.
I wouldn't have thought everything was vegan/plant based. The service was good & the food was amazing!! 1. Fuerte Crunch Wrap - my favorite dish it was so flavorful - very generous with the ingredients - came with tortilla chips 2. Street Corn - literally so good and easy to eat - tasted like real cheese to me LOL 3. Hearts of Palm Ceviche - so refreshing! kind of tasted more like a salad tho4. Enchiladas Verdes- came in 3 and was also super filling - the kale & cashew cream was so good Next time I'll try their al pastor tacos & dessert. I'll be back!

Food, Ambience and Service also the quantity and quality both are superb. We ordered nachos, tacos and burrito bowl. The quantity of nachos and burrito bowl was huge. Loved their spicy salsa. It's a must visit place for vegetarian who loves mexican!
Be the first to ReplyI just went to St.
Veg in Rockville, MD and gave a superb review and realized I should provide my review here too. I went to brunch and dinner here and the food is amazing. I had the taco flight: The beans and rice were good fillers on the flavorful tacos. It helped balance out the flavors. - Al pastor - was my favorite, the flavor and overall presentation and quality was superb with the sweet salty contrast. - Mushroom - the texture of the mushrooms were great, it wasn't slimy or mushy. The flavor was milder than the other tacos.- Park pastor - the flavor overall was good except that it was salty. It was a lot more mushy compared to the other tacos, but somehow I want to eat this again. The pancakes are marvelous, it was a bit sweet for my taste, but I will get the syrup on the side next time. You can taste the banana flavor in every bite and it may have contributed to the pancake being so soft. With the granola, it helped balance out the texture of soft and crunchy. Can't wait to eat this again. The spicy sweet & crispy coliflor was superb. It had the slight crispy softness to it and the right amount of sauce which didn't overwhelm the flavor of the cauliflower.I had both of the street corn flavors, which are very different. It wasn't my favorite of the meals I've had, but it was nice to try.

I recently visited Gracias Madre with my coworkers, and I have to say, it was a really enjoyable experience. Despite being a vegan restaurant, even my non-vegan coworkers were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The drinks were also a hit with our group. The caritas plate was a standout for me - it wasn't what I was expecting, but it was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Overall, Gracias Madre is a great spot for a fun and tasty meal with friends or family, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try
Be the first to ReplyMy all time vegan restaurant for when my family and I visit
My all time vegan restaurant for when my family and I visit SoCal! The portions are unbelievable! The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is very good at what they do! The plates are all very flavorful! I highly recommend their nachos and the guava cheesecake is the best dessert! That's not to say everything else on the menu isn't just as delicious. Highly recommend visiting, thank you Gracias Madre.
Be the first to ReplyGracias Madre! The food was superb.
If you didn't know it was a vegan restaurant, you will be so pleasantly surprised with the flavor profiles of the food and the protein substitutes they used! For our appetizers we had the hearts of palm ceviche and the queso FUNdido (delicious)! We both got drinks: the nolada and the vamos (let's go!) My wife and I got the taco flights of coconut, mushroom, and parmesan pastor. To rank out the three for our palates, it would be mushroom, coconut, and finally the Parmesan pastor. Out of the three, the mushroom was the best for us because of the consistency and the flavor profile that came along with it. The tacos closely mimics what you would normally have. The Parmesan pastor was still really good because of the vegan cheese, but it was VERY RICH and strongly flavored (think of a punch in the mouth of umami; after a few drinks this would be perfect but not today). We topped it off with the Guava cheesecake as a finisher. We didn't even have room for it, but after tasting it the room magically appeared in our tummies. Service? We were well looked after! I wish I remembered our server's name, but she was fantastic. You know restaurants where they drop the water carafe and it's kinda expected that you fill up the water? Our service beat us to the punch every time! It was the most memorable amount of attentiveness we've had in the last calendar year for restaurants. And if you're looking to take someone out for a date, it is exquisitely curated. ยกGracias Madre!ยกVamos! Let's go!!
