🤮 1/5 - My husband made a reservation here for our 5 year

My husband made a reservation here for our 5 year anniversary. I usually vet places he picks out but this was a surprise. He has been wanting to try a Michelin star restaurant for a while and finally pulled the trigger and chose Gravitas. Atmosphere 3/5It's a cute middle of nowhere industrial casual chic place. Although the place was empty, we were seated right next to another couple. We could have been seated somewhere else because everyone values their personal space. I could literally hear the other couples conversation. Food: 2/5I am not sure if the menu changes seasonally but the pictures on Yelp were way more appetizing than the ones on the menu (past seasonal menu, I am guessing). The food started out strongYellow fin tuna sashimi- 10/10Winter vegetable salad- 5/10 it was pretty and portion was big Fluke and winter citrus- 5/10 my husband said it was just okay, a little too fishy Mushroom veloute- 4/10 it was rich, creamy, mushroomy. 4 small lobster pieces, one was very raw(I am 5 months pregnant). Soup was cold, portion was good but taste did not blow my mind. Squid ink cappelletti- 2/10 it was way too fishy, the dish was cold, the cappelletti was tough. It was difficult to finish. We could not order the lobster bourguignon since we don't eat baconHoney layered duck breast- 2/10. Listen listen listen.....my husband ordered this. We both understand "fancy" places cook a certain way but when I tell y'all the duck was raw....it was fully raw. No slight sear, no basting, nothing. It was straight up raw. I completely understand chefs executing their own ideas HOWEVER not everyone can eat fully raw meat. The least they can do is ask the customer if they would prefer their meat rare, medium or well done. We had to send it back for just minimal sear so my husband can eat it. Not to me mention the dish was cold.Pan seared roasted royal bass- 4/10 nothing special, dish was cold, fish was underwhelming. It was overall an underwhelming dish. My mouth was not bursting with flavor Pumpkin spice notte- 4/10 average, very filling. It was okay Coconut rice pudding- 2/10 my husband ordered the chocolate cremeux but since it had pork, it was subbed with coconut rice pudding. It was a nice gesture but the rice pudding had not flavor and was saltyOverall, had we known that we would end up spending $500 on extremely mid level food at a 1 star Michelin restaurant....I would have stopped my husband from picking this place. Call us unsophisticated but we know flavor and this menu was not giving what it was supposed be giving. Nothing unique and no dishes worth remembering. Will definitely remember the pure raw duck breast that was served and all the dishes being cold (personal pet peeve) and waste of $500 on mediocre food
