Hamdi Seattle Reviews
Overpriced for no reason.
It is hilarious to me when restaurants cook street food and serve it as high end food. This place will not last unless they drop their prices. Service is OK but not over the top. But we love the vibe and the decor. Such a pretty spot.
I want to start with the positive.
It is quite expensive, but this is not Garlic Crush or some generic Middle Eastern restaurant. This is fine dining. This was, hands-down, the most tasty assault on my palate ever. Every dish was exquisitely presented and spiced. I beg you to order th

We recently made it to Hamdi to try what had been recommended as a "must try"spot. I hope to be fair and helpful to both future diners, and to the owners. The space is small, dark and cozy inside and located right next to a burger/brewery
Turkish delight in Fremont
Seattle has its share of interesting, friendly, and down-right delicious restaurants. Hamdi deserves to be placed near the front of that list with an inspired take on classic Turkish food. Our group of eight was treated to a family-style feast sele
Great food and service.
Loved the ambiance and experience. Food is exquisite. The Tiramisu at the end of the meal was divine.
The food and service were exceptional.
We had the pleasure of sitting at the chef's table, which offered a wonderfully intimate and immersive dining experience. Each dish was perfectly portioned and thoughtfully designed for sharing. Every bite was rich with flavor and beautifully ex
Absolutely loved the food! So flavorful and unique.
We ordered family style, and last minute threw in a T-bone steak for the group. It as amazing! And it turned out to be priced at $160 - so check the prices before ordering a steak. But I would totally go here again. Loved everything about it. The ser

Still one of our restaurants to dine at in Seattle! They are kid friendly and our daughters love to dine here. The hostess/coowner is very sweet. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the dishes here.
I've eaten at tons of great restaurants all over the world.
I am al decent chef myself. I booked reservation here for a late meal. The steaks were done to the day, but the chef cut a porterhouse for me. And the whole meal, while expensive, was otherworldly good. The best steak I've ever had. Great cu
unique flavor, delicious.
service was attentive. pricey - we ordered the "market price" steak but the server girl did not tell us the price beforehand (is that usual in seattle?), shocked to see the over $170 on the bill. lesson learned.
Wow! What an experience! We had the private outdoor room.
It was perfect for a family celebrating our recent college grad. The owners were so great and easy to work with. They really treated our group well. The service was outstanding and we got to meet both owner and chef in person. The food was outsta
Not Good
I didn't really like it here. The food is not very tasty, the prices are high, I would recommend choosing another restaurant.
Confusing and somewhat offputting reservation process but great food
We have been meaning to go for the longest time. Heard good things. Love Turkish food. Finally found a reservation. There was a mandatory $40 no refundable deposit pp which gave me pause. If I read it right, they said that if you can't make it
Great experience, better food.
Service and food were amazing. You can’t go wrong since the staff will walk you through the menu as you arrive. Cocktails are interesting and tasty, food is a party of flavors and the ambiance is great for a date night.

Food was great but small portions.
The ambiance was nice, attentive staff. The reservation fee is why I gave a 4 star. A diner shouldn't be asked to reserve a table for a fee per person.
The best ever birthday dinner.
We were greeted by the one of the owners, Katrina, who explained all the dishes and answered any questions we had. Even though it was busy, she checked in on us repeatedly. Other staff made sure we always had water and that we were enjoying our foo
This is an over priced small place restaurant.
Waiter oversold us on too many plates. At $100 per person for Turkish meal, quite expensive. Steaks a market prices are confusing. Food is okay. Nice ambiance.
Out of this world delicious!
Just another amazing culinary experience by Chef Berke and his team! This restaurant is so out of this world delicious, fabulous and cool, it would have a line around the block if it was in NYC! Such an amazing gem in Seattle can’t wait to go back!
The food was generally excellent.
I asked how spicy things were and was told "not very" which is .. not something I agree with but the cig kefte was within reasonable limits but ut was spicy. The lamb back and the kebap were both fantastic, as was the pide. So why 3 stars?

This is a new favorite for me.
The lighting is darker, which I appreciate because it's very calming. There were plants, and it wasn't too loud when we went at 5:30z Service was excellent- gave candid recommendations that were PERFECT and always refilled our water. I really enjoye

One of my all time best dining experiences in Seattle.
The best porterhouse steak I've ever had. It was perfect in every way and I consider myself a meat aficinado. I would choose the experience over the best wagyu any day. It had amazing sauce but, didn't need it. The best part is that we tried almost
Have been here twice and each time the food was amazing.

Amazing food, fantastic service.
Booked for my partners birthday and we had such a great time. There is a reason it was named one of the best new restaurants of Seattle! Especially loved the kereviz. It's like bougie coleslaw, for my white trash friends.
Ambiance is warm and cozy.
The food is unique and interesting! We really enjoy the pide, celery root, and lamb kebabs. Casual Fine dining without the extravagant Seattle price. Parking maybe a challenge in the area.
Excellent food, bartending and waiting needs improvement.
4.2 rating This is a beautiful restaurant with a soft, intimate atmosphere. Whoever designed it did a phenomenal job. It feels like Revel used to in the old house but much better. Lightening and decor are superb! We liked several dishes and splurge

Disappointing and Expensive
This was a disappointing and expensive experience. Our party of 6 was excited to go after having read about Hamdi. The host informed us upon getting seated that we would receive a pre-fix menu...a new policy they had just implemented. We were give
So much potential.... yet what a letdown on pretty much all aspects.
I had been craving Turkish food for a while and Hamdi was on my to-do list. Unfortunately, I do not think I will ever go back to that place. Bummer, because the owner was friendly, but that should not be the only enjoyable thing about a meal. Food:

It should be 3.
5 stars honestly, but I'm more a critical person plus we had really high expectations of Hamdi. Me and my friend used to come to the pop up in summer and had a blast of their lamb kofta. It was hot and fresh from the grill, we sat as long as we want

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Hamdi Seattle at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Hamdi Seattle page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at Hamdi Seattle to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Hamdi Seattle!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
