Incredible Hotel - Unforgettable Stay
My fiancé and I picked Marincanto for our Wedding Venue in June 2023. We were over the top thrilled with our choice. It is a smaller boutique hotel so not all our guests stayed there but the ones who did were extremely happy. Wedding highlights: - amazing support from Antonella. We had our own wedding planner but that didn't matter she was there for everything we needed in addition to our planner - all the food was extraordinary - we unfortunately had rain (torrential rain like you have never seen) but the hotel staff did everything physically possible to have things run smoothly - standing out in rain to help keep guests dry, white umbrellas for everyone, towels provided for guests to dry off. - my dream of the reception outside on terrace didn't happen because of the rain but they created a nice space indoors and accommodated music and a dance floor area for us - complementary room service breakfast following the wedding Staff highlights: - Antonella was attentive and so helpful- She should get 5 star review alone - front desk staff were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed ( we had an early departure so they packed up a take away/to-go breakfast for us and catered to my gluten free allergy - staff carried our luggage up and down all the stairs to the honeymoon suite - honeymoon suite wasn't available our last night so we had book regular suite which they upgraded for us - cleaners for room and entire hotel kept everything spotless - Room service was prompt and available as needed - My parents also stayed here and my Dad has a bad knee and they worked with them to find the most suitable suite, showing my mom different options and given them one with elevator access. Going the extra mile to cater to them was very appreciated Hotel highlights: - The buffet breakfast was exceptional. Any breakfast food you would want they had. Hot, cold, pastries, drinks, coffee, tea, juices, bubbles, fruit, sweets, full meat and cheese, eggs, sausages, bacon, gluten free options, etc. Well worth it. The dining area had beautiful views and the staff were all incredible. Great dinner and lunch menu and the views are unparallel (just be prepared for the instagram influencers to be in full force - that was unfortunately everywhere in Positano) - Free private beach area - you work for it as there are a LOT of stairs up and down (we counted 90+) if mobility an issue Positano in general will not be the easiest. To book at the restaurant beside for a daybed was I believe 1000 Euro! So having access to Marincanto private beach complimentary should definitely be factored in. If you think rooms are expensive the perks are well worth it. - Lanscape - the grounds were so well maintained. Gorgeous flowers and greenery - Location - Marincanto is situated perfectly in my opinion, you are far enough away from the very busy town center (May -Sept expect a lot of tourist and people). It had stunning views and was in a somewhat quieter area but still very close to everything Room highlights: I was able to view a number of the rooms there because of our guests and all were beautiful. Exactly what you picture for the Amalfi Coast. beautiful, charming, all unique and all with stunning views Honeymoon suite was very spacious and had a hot tub in the bathroom I cannot thank Marincanto enough for being part of my wedding day and making our trip to Positano so incredible.
Beautiful views & excellent service
We loved our stay at Hotel Marincanto. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and had incredible views of Positano. We enjoyed using the pool and the beach - both areas were clean and not too crowded. We also loved eating at the restaurant, Terraza Cele, and the buffet breakfast as well. We ordered room service one morning for breakfast and within minutes they delivered a large sampling of their breakfast items, coffee, juice, and even set the table for us on our balcony. On the day we left, we had to check out very early, and the staff boxed up breakfast pastries, fruit, and bottled water for us to take while we traveled. We would definitely stay here again.

A month has passed since our wedding at Marincanto 🤍 and our stay in the Incanto Suite and thinking back to those days, the feeling of having lived AN OPEN-EYES DREAM is alive more than ever. The location in terms of beauty and panoramic view needs no praise... it's something out of the ordinary! We fell in love right there 2 years ago and returned this year for Our Day. The terrace on which we got married left its mark on all our guests, the photos give an idea of how spectacular and magical the view is but having experienced it...it took our breath away. The service was impeccable, the coordination of the entire staff so that everything was perfect, ceremony and dinner, the music of Mr. Rispoli, the Suite... and only a bride knows how important it is that everything goes smoothly that day. The quality and quantity of the dinner food also exceeded our expectations. We chose a simple, Mediterranean menu of just 3 courses... everything delicious and not invisible portions as expected from a luxury restaurant. Thanks chef! And thanks to those who served us dinner impeccably. But in our hearts and who has truly made the difference there is Antonella ❤️. What would I have done without her? The most human, empathetic, helpful and professional events manager you can meet. She accompanied me during the preparations with kindness, availability, with that smile that you can perceive even on the phone (having organized everything from Reggio Emilia). Thank you Antonella for all the peace of mind you gave me and for also taking care of the details. The enchantment of that day is also thanks to you! We can't wait to come back 🏻 Andrea and Rossella
A big pass on this hotel....
First the positive. Management went out of their way to address our room condition complaints, and they were very gracious. Now the negative--the hotel is in need of a remodel. Too many tourists in Positano doesn't help, I'm sure, but it's time to update. I can liken the condition of the rooms (and poor air conditioning) to a Red Roof Inn in the U.S. The food in the restaurant is marginal at best, but the breakfast buffet wasn't bad. Good view of the coastline. Too many wedding parties every day of the week which tended to be noisy. Heads up--keep your valuables close to you. There is a lack of staff to pick up your luggage, and the luggage is kept out in the open in the reception area and you will probably have to lug it yourself in one tiny elevator that takes you up to street level. We made multiple trips and could have walked away unnoticed with the luggage and carry ons of others as no one was paying attention.

The best hotel I stayed in Italy! The views are immaculate, everything you would dream of. The breakfast is included and it was delicious. Everything about the place felt like you were in a true resort. Beautiful views and room. The service was exceptional as well.

Unbelievable view, unbelievable drinks, BUT most importantly, STELLAR SERVICE. A VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO DARIO. He helped us get a great spot on the terrace for drinks one afternoon, and also was instrumental in arranging an trip for us to Amalfi. On a day when all the ferries were cancelled. DARIO -- THANK YOU for being so unbelievably HELPFUL!!!!!

Great location. Excellent front desk staff . Pvt beach . Views fab . HOW EVER- overpriced beyond . Stayed in suite due to last rm available. Large but waste money . Pillows like marbles on your head . Old fashioned; cracks in walls ; broken shower never fixed ; suite ? No couch - chair ! Broken elevator 3 days ! Get a less exp room or stay elsewhere!
Perfect hotel in a perfect city
Stayed here with my adult daughter for four nights, at the end of a first-time trip to Italy. Positano, and this hotel in particular, were outstanding. Located in a gorgeous setting with magnificent views of the ocean and the iconic Positano hillside. Our “standard” room was immaculate with a large bathroom and a lovely view from our balcony. Beautiful pool and sun deck, excellent breakfasts with that amazing view. Plus all the staff bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. Already planning to come back next year!

The front desk/concierge go out of their way to provide great service. Aurora, Martino, Paulo, and Dario have been very helpful. And the wait staff, bartenders, and housekeeping staff are world class.

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
