I had stayed at all the main hotels in Monaco so I wanted to check out Metropole. It was a disappointment. Of course the front entrance was fancy as ever with half-dozen Maseratis but the actual accommodation lacked. My specific room was dark, there was noise audible from the hallway, and the price was too high.
This is monte-Carlo!!
Perfect location in the heart of Monte-carlo! Certainly the place to be! look at the beautiful cars there!!! And everything was perfect: the food, drinks, scenery. The rooms are amazing! Super comfortable and luxurious. And best of all: the staff! They are the kindest people to make sure we had the best time! I couldn’t recommend this place more to everyone who’s coming to Monaco! Special thanks for valet David who welcomed us first and give us so good recommentations, to Frederico from reception who was very professionnal, and our housekeeper (sorry i can't remember her name) for her smile and good service. Hope to be back soon

Great night at Métropole Monte Carlo
The welcome was very warm from very friendly people, the room was pleasant and above all comfortable. I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and the swimming pool. The hamam is so good. I admit that I had a lot of fun. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Métropole teams. Thank you for brightening my day, you are the best 🙏
A unique experience
We stayed for one short night but everything from the premises to the teams made us feel as we were there since much longer. The welcome at the door was warm and genuine, with a magnificent floral display. The interior as a lot to offer and to look at, with each space having its own vibes. Our receptionists Joseph & Kate were very professionnal and easy to connect with, making us feel at ease throught the check-in process around some welcome drinks. The bedroom was confortable with a spacious bathroom and a home like feeling. We got the pleasure to dine at the Lobby Bar, in a intimate atmosphere. The staff was elegant and knowledgeable, with a special shout-out to Jerome for his custom cocktail and food recommandations! One of my highlight was the breakfast, with a room filled with sunshine, a great way to wake up! as well as the delicious pain au raisin, such a delight. I was very surprised by the recommandation of Carmine who somehow knew exactly what I needed without me asking. Thanks a lot for this unique experience in Monaco

First stay at the Hotel Metropole and we were immediately enveloped by the warm atmosphere, beauty and refinement of this splendid hotel. The wonderful room, spacious, bright, impeccably clean and equipped with all comforts. All the hotel services were impeccable, all the staff were truly professional, very friendly, kind, courteous, helpful, we really felt pampered by everyone and at ease like at home! The most wonderful hotel with one of the best Concierge services in the world
I mainly only get around to reviewing fantastic hotels or those few that have been awful and compared the amount of those visited, we review comparatively few. I posted a review following our stay but I just can’t find it… so here I go again, as the incredible staff at this beautiful hotel need to be applauded, as do the owners. I guess I forgot in which case apologies. We previously had a suite at the hotel a few years ago and the Metropol is better than ever. For us, it is all about the people, the ladies and gentlemen who provide such exceptional service. Firstly, I have been fortunate to encounter some great Concierge services over the years, quite a few have equalled the incredible standards at the Metropole but none could exceed it. While in Monte Carlo, a restaurant which I won’t name (it would be unfair given they finally managed an unexpected service recovery, albeit after quite an argument), told us, after we had already been seated, that there was a (huge) charge minimum charge however, they have not mentioned this when the concierge had made the booking. I told him this and they didn’t believe me. The minimum charge was relatively way more than one would expect to pay when ordering an already expensive three course, dinner, however, as we were already seated, we dealt with it by ordering an expensive bottle of vintage champagne. We did that because there was no chance of us managing to reach anywhere near the minimum spend without doing that. The champagne arrived, it was opened and served, only after which our waiter told us that the minimum charge did not include expenditure on wines. At this point, I emailed our hotel concierge and he swiftly emailed me a very full and detailed confirmation of exactly what he had been told when he made our Reservation…and more importantly, what he had not been told. He then contacted the restaurant and while I have no idea was said, the restaurant management apologised and told us there would be no charge for dinner. This is just one example of the reliabilty and support from the concierge at the Metropole. Dining and relaxing by the pool was a huge pleasure with the most wonderful service. We loved breakfasts and dining at the hotel and although we were only there for a few days we were constantly greeted by name wherever we went. Everything about the hotel is a delight. We are back in Monte Carlo in March 2024 and I would have loved to return to the Metropole, however a member of our family has particularly asked to stay at the Hotel de Paris, where I have never stayed before and that is the only reason we are not returning to the Metropole this coming visit. I have read some great reviews but also a few that I just don’t recognise based on our wonderful experiences at this incredible hotel which totally deliver. I found all of the ladies and gentlemen of the hotel absolutely delightful, we felt cosseted, well looked after and at home. The location of the Metropole is superb and I couldn’t recommend it more.
Top class services to the guests!
This hotel I believe is a true 5-star hotel for the services it provides to its guests. I stayed one night in a Deluxe room (Free Upgrade) and I must say I was impressed with the service it offers. You check in not at the counter but comfortably seated on a couch where you are also offered a drink. Afterwards another employee of the hotel escorts you to your room and explains everything you need to know about the hotel's services. The room very spacious with a nice bathroom, sincerely the furniture is starting to show time passing...a renovation of the rooms would be necessary as soon as possible... The bathroom on the other hand I think has already been renovated (excellent products of Ferragamo). The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The breakfast with a choice of very fresh products prepared by the hotel's bakers/bakers. Let's say for the room I would not have given a full rating but the services and courtesy of the staff (and the attention to the customer) make me rate this hotel 5 stars. Highly recommended!!!

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Changing restaurant opening times
I have a reservation for Kasama Chicago I listed but it’s not showing up because the listed opening hours are only until 3 or 4 pm. My reservation is for their dinner service at 5. Is there a way I can change the times myself?

You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.
