Waited 13 min and no one came to our table. We left.
My husband and I came in to the Tuscan Market for the first time yesterday evening. We waited 3-4 min for the hostess. When she arrived she apologized for the wait which was nice. My husband asked that we have a table away from the doors to the outside. She said “Ok” and put us at the table closest to the door. My husband and I looked at each other and he spoke up. She said she was sorry and then scanned the open tables. She said she did not think we should sit in the area that’s enclosed in plastic (I guess maybe that’s usually outdoor dining?) because there is an issue with it and wind blows in. There were more than a few other tables that would have been in a warmer area but we just wanted to eat so I kept my coat on and sat at the original table. We waited for 13 minutes. Not a single waitstaff came over, not a single one walking by even looked at us. I used to wait tables and if myself or other waitstaff had seen people waiting that long we would have acknowledged the customers and said “has anyone come over to take your order?” The last straw was when I saw a couple who came in after us, get waited on. We hot up, handed our menus back to the hostess and left. The arrogance and lack of service were such a put off. I will never go there again. I wonder how much money the owner loses due to people leaving like we did.

Adrianna was fantastic. This reminded me of amazing European trips with an open market meal. She was wonderful, a great guide to amazing food and gave incredible service. Please don't miss out on an incredible meal in an incredible place.

Husband and I stopped in to eat at the bar. The menu looked good. We received a friendly greeting. Ordered my first drink, a pear old fashioned. It can but didn’t really impress me at the time. The ice was sort of melted and the drink wasn’t that cold. Ordered our dinner. I had chicken picatta and asked to substitute fresh Angel hair pasta instead of the standard linguine. The dish was very salty and the pasta was clumpy and undercooked. I didn’t bother to complain because it was passable and I was hungry. Ordered my second drink, an espresso martini. I watched the bartender “mix” the drink. She seriously over poured the first ingredient, like a 7 count and then proceeded to add the other ingredients in strange proportions. She barely shook it and when she tried pouring it in the glass it seriously overflowed. The color of the drink was a murky grey. After the first two sips I was done. She came back and asked if I liked it and when I said no, she offered to make me something else. I asked for a Negroni. Simple drink to make, 3 ingredients equal parts. The drink I got was overly sweet, yet strong. Overall the server was nice but when you are paying $15 per drink I expect them to taste like they are supposed to. I was really disappointed that they could not come through in staple items in their menu. Won’t be going back any time soon.

So, tonight me my husband, my daughter, her husband, and my 3 week old grandson visited Tuscan market. They were on a usual 30-40 minute wait. When I went to put in our name Ryan(who I later found out was a manager) was one of the most accommodating, personable, kind thoughtful people I’ve come in contact with in a long time. I know people Say this all the time, but I was a server/key/bartender for many years and it is NOT easy. Ryan realized we had a baby and worked diligently to get us taken care of. I can’t explain how important that is. I’m sure Ryan deals with so many people on a daily basis and does it with a smile on his face. The food was great as well. Delicious meal!
First time dining at Tuscan Market eatery. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff and delicious meals. We enjoyed our dinner very much. I had chicken parm and hubby had bolognese. We highly recommend!

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
