So sad, would have given this place 5 starts back in December. Had great food, service and ambiance back at that time. Went there again tonight with a party of 6, and the service was truly bad. We waited at our table for a while before our waiter came and said they forgot we were in their section. He honestly was probably overwhelmed because it was so busy, but we only saw him a handful of times during the night. Took forever to get us our check and didn't ask us how we would like it split, just brought it out. With how much money we spent, I feel like you should at least have the courtesy to ask how the check should be split. Atmosphere is so cool there, but service is meh. Food is good, but extremely overpriced for what you are getting. The portion sizes are definitely smaller from the last time we came. I got the carbonara, and it was probably the most mediocre carbonara I have ever had. Very lacking in flavor, which is hard to do with a carbonara. You also have to pay extra for the bread AND you have to pay if you also want butter with it haha. I mean, I guess I get charging for bread if it is "artisan and made in house", but charging 5 extra bucks for it to come with butter? What a joke. They were out of their sourdough bread, so we got the garlic bread and focaccia, but super underwhelming. The focaccia was so dry, it was hard to eat. The only saving grace was the gnocchi. Perfectly pillowy with a flavorful sauce. Really loved this dish. Overall, if you want to go to a place with overpriced mediocre food and crappy service, this is your spot! So sad they went so downhill in just a matter of months.
