It pains me to leave such a negative review, but it's necessary! I had a LONG hair from the food in my mouth & the manager didn't bother to come talk with us. :( Hubby & I pass by this restaurant every time we come to this Westfield Century City Shopping Center. It looks fancy schmancy and the decor is beautiful! This past Sunday (April 7, 2024) we decided to try it out. We made a reservation via Open Table, checked in and were seated promptly. We were brought some chips & salsa. Our server came and asked if we wanted guacamole to go with our chips. We agreed, but he never informed us it wasn't complimentary. We figured it was going to cost us, but he should have told us. The guacamole is $18. The chips, salsa, & guacamole were delicious! We decided to share the Chile Verde ($38). It comes with rice & beans and tortillas, we chose some flour & corn tortillas. We also got an order of Esquites to go with it. Our food arrived and we were ready to create our tacos! Everything went south from here. I started to cough like crazy. I'm not sure if it was related to what happened next, but I think it probably was. And then, boom!!!! I felt something stringy in my mouth that was from a bite of my taco. I reached in my mouth and found something to grab onto and started pulling it out. It was a LONG HAIR and the meat was attached to it because I was mid-chew!! It was a very light brown almost blondish colored hair. (It wasn't mine because mine is black with some white strands.) Ok, things happen. We called the waiter over and he quickly took it to the manager. I didn't have time to take a picture of it. Our waiter came back and then apologized and asked us if we wanted them to remake another plate of [the same] food. Um, no thank you! We declined. He walked away. Then he came back and told us we didn't have a bill and that our meal was taken care of. [I should have ordered a drink to help ease the dissatisfaction! I'm joking.] We waited in hopes that the manager on duty would come talk with us. He looked our way a couple times, but never came to check on us nor apologize. That is so unprofessional!!! That is not the way to resolve a problem. We were trying to be gracious about it although we were very disappointed! Management should have come over! This is no way to treat your guests! We left, but literally, with a bad taste in our mouths! I felt like I was still choking on a hair for quite some time after the incident. *To the restaurant: I left a review on Open Table & Google.*
