Excellent ingredients, well thought out dishes. Unfortunately, service staff are subpar.
The miso abalogne, wagyu A5 was amazing. Toro and uni were sourced expertly. Food prep was exceptionally thoughtful with use of water peppers, seasonal flowers and spices. Excellent food. However, service staff were not attentive, and chefs at the counter were not very friendly. Professional and cordial, but not warm.

I loved it here. The food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the atmosphere was just right. I had the Ume menu for $138 and it was so much better value than the sushi restaurant I reviewed the day prior. They did try to upsell me to get the $188 one at the start, but I was ok with I wish I asked the name the waiter who was especially helpful, so I could have mentioned here. He told me what order to eat the items on each course and we discussed how I normally eat in an order that saves the best part until last, which is easy when the food is familiar, but that small touch of guidance really impressed me. It’s these details that make all the difference. They were fine with me leaving for 15 minutes to take a work call away from the restaurant. I offered to leave my card / wallet behind but they said no need. One of the reasons to love Singapore in general, but I felt especially at home at Jun. Don’t hesitate to choose this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Zen place with high ceiling Omakase restaurant - great ambience for family gathering or seats at the chef counter. Try 7 course or 5 course. Collection of Jumai Daijinjo to pair with the meal.

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
