I had the most amazing experience at Katana.
The grilled foods were great and the host team was bubbly and so kind. The manager, Chloe, came up and introduced herself and made sure we were having a nice time. Overall, great restaurant and for sure will be returning!

I came here for the first time this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised. I had a few of their rolls but their robata is really what sets this place apart from other sushi restaurants in West Hollywood. Service was amazing. The host team, despite being so busy, we're extremely kind and accommodating. Our server was very present and personable. Highly recommend!

Food was fancy but way too expensive for sushi, we ordered like three main courses dishes and our bill was over $$$. Ambiance was beautiful but too dark to see the food.
Be the first to ReplyAmazin food , delicious.
Employees extremely polite and professional. European style vibes . Good view . Both inside and patio are great (I would more recommend patio) . We ordered 3 servings of IZAKAYA FOR 3 it was huge. Also liked the sea food tower sushi sashimi, the cheesecake was amazing as well. Had a great timeExtremely recommended!
Be the first to ReplyOur meal here was average to say the least.
We ordered a couple items to split and none were honestly super memorable. The tuna crispy rice was mid and small. The kushiyaki items and green beans were ok. The sushi was decent but nothing special. Service was pretty good. We were seated at the outside patio and there weren't many other people eating there at all so I'm not sure why we couldn't get a seat indoors (maybe they only seat those with reservations inside?). So, I can't say what the inside looks like but the patio was an interesting area with the white tent. Overall, there's definitely way better options for Japanese food. It was an ok spot for some small plates before a show on Sunset but other than that, there was nothing impressive about our meal here.
Be the first to ReplyWe were drowning in spicy and sometimes crunchy tuna.
So much Tuna. The Coca Cola was very telling. Says a lot.

Has been taking care of us for years. If you're lucky enough to have her help you out, you're already ahead in the game. Thanks Gina and Katana !!
Be the first to ReplyBeing there for 5-7 times and each time was wonderful.
For starters We ordered the c bass and soy bean , shishito papers and everything came hot and yummy. The A5 wagyu steak is delicious and its nice portion too.Rice cake with spicy tuna is a great addition to any sushi lover table, over all I enjoy it.$100 per person with cocktails is very reasonable for Saturday night out

The hubs decided on this trendy spot for an impromptu date night after supporting the lady USC Trojans on their win against Oregon! Fight On! Katana is definitely a date night hot spot in Hollywood hills! It was a unique experience and the food was good. We ordered the Wagyu beef and lobster which was just ok, but the lamb chops were delicious! Brussel sprouts from Robata grill and the Jalepeño salmon sushi roll were both Eh....but the popcorn shrimp and drinks were really great!! With all that we ordered I felt the entrees/appetizers offered enough "good things" to justify our visit and the bill. Lol Overall, it was worth the experience since my husband and I enjoyed half of what we ordered and the service was excellent! Honest review here and I would probably come again, just get some better recommendations on what to order from menu. Like maybe the black cod--that looks delish on the Yelp photos.
