Kinzie Chophouse Chicago Reviews
Big disapointment
Very disappointed with Kinzie, my first time in, I went for a business diner and eat the lobster chauder as a starter that was good and after a bourbon ribeye that was poorly done and not well cook, quite average for the price they charge. As a desse
Wonderful Anniversary Celebration at Kinzie Chophouse
Had a wonderful experience celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary at Kinzie Chophouse which was the first steakhouse that my wife and I loved once we were married. Upon checking-in, the host recognized us as a repeat customer and welcomed us back.

Some of the best food and steak I have ever had! Outstanding waitstaff and unpretentious, yet elegant ambiance.
This place is a mist stop and must return.
Our server was Emma and we'll ask for her next time. This steakhouse is 28 years in and I think they have really figured out their niche. We selected from Yelp and it was within walking distance from our hotel, the Kinzie. We were celebratin
The food here is impecable.
We ended up getting the Odyssey Tasting which is a 7 course meal. My wife loved the experience and the amount of attention to detail on every item was on point. I will definitely be back to try the 80 dry aged rib eyed.
Loved the experience! Very attentive and knowledgeable
Loved the experience! Very attentive and knowledgeable waiter who steered us through the menu. The baked rosemary brioche bread was very tasty. My wife and I shared the 22oz 65 day dry aged steak which was fantastic - cooked right the way we wanted a

Came to Kenzie Chophouse for my birthday dinner with my boyfriend..his favorite steakhouse, and now I see why. The food was amazing. I had the dry aged lamb chops, perfectly seared and so flavorful I didn't need any sauce. He had a medium steak,
Great spot for groups!
We had a Board dinner here while meeting in Chicago. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and attractive (especially for being an historic building). We were able to have seating for tables of 6, which I love. The servers were kind and personable and e

I had a reservation for 15 people made a full week in advance at Kinzie Chophouse. It was my birthday, and what should have been a joyful celebration turned into one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Despite our confirmed reservation, we a
Delicious Lamb Chops
A decent chop house located in downtown DC. The steaks are good as well as the Mac and Cheese. Try the lamb chops if you can!

Great steak again on my second visit here; got the filet, had excellently seasoned char and cooked perfectly. Caesar salad was very good. Service was excellent. Dining room was super loud, annoyingly loud with the table of 20 guys behind us. Mac n ch
Classy place with attentive staff.
Food was fantastic. A little spendy compared to other high end steakhouses I've experienced. Was entertaining clients and was taken aback when the bill came and my Waygu was $24 per oz when the menu stated this evening was $24 per 2oz. I did not
Not an enjoyable dinner
The food was just okay. My prime rib was on the chewy side. Our waiter was probably one of the worst we ever had. He was asked if we could get horseradish for our meat. Not only did we not get it but then never saw him again until it was time to pay
Extremely Expensive
I've been coming to this restaurant for years on business and it is a decent place. The prices are through the roof and it is very expensive. Portions have gotten smaller. I feel there are better dining options and encourage the management to
I don’t think they want repeat business
I found it overpriced for the quality. I brought a bottle of wine for BYOB then bought cocktails which cost $40 for two. Often I find when you buy something from the bar they don’t charge corkage. When I asked them to open the wine they said they d
Disappointing for the Price and the rest cancelled our ability to review on Opentable
We'd been to Kinsie before. This time it did not perform. Service was professional and kind, but server was hard to find, never checked in, had to be flagged down. Two people noted that their steaks were ho-hum. At 60-190 per steak, everyth
Always Great
My daughter and I eat at Kenzie Chophouse every December when we visit Chicago. The staff are attentive and the food is great. Plan to visit again next year.
