THE WORST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
We have been to this restaurant a few times before and the food has always been good. Went for lunch with our young children last Saturday. There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He took our orders (katsu curry, rice, sashimi) after 15 minutes of waiting. The sashimi and rice came after 20 minutes but the curry never came. We were very patient and waited for a whole HOUR!!! We asked the waiter and he just kept making excuses (clearly they forgot the order). No apologies at all from the waiter. We decided to leave and they had the audacity to ask for payment. W asked to speak with the manager who said he was too busy to attend to us. VERY POOR experience and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Beautiful find in Ealing Common
Amazed this gem of a restaurant with high quality sushi is where it is. We were lucky to stumble into the place late and ordered the edamame which was perfectly seasoned, lightly fried Agedashi tofu, assorted nigiri and rolls and some mushroom tempura. Weโre still thinking about how light and gentle the fish was melting, there was just the right amount of rice and the batter of the tempura was light and airy.
Without drink expect to spend around ยฃ35 per head and do order the fatty tuna special
Absolutely the best in quality and service
Absolutely the best. Kiraku truly represents the best about Japanese cuisines both in quality and level of service. So lucky to have this experience in west London. Well done!
Be the first to ReplyLovely lunch spot
I am always on the lookout for Japanese spots and loved this place, usually I have to travel to central but this was closer to where I live. Would go again, sushi tasted yummy along with the gyozas
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed
We used to come here all the time and used to love this place. It was very simple but there was so many choices in the menu. We would have loads to choose from but now thereโs hardly anything to order.
Donโt get me wrong, the food is good and the staff is lovely but thereโs just not enough choices. Whereโs the soft shell crab??
It was always our go to sushi restaurant in Ealing along with Haru.
But this place has changed ownership and Haru closed!
Very disappointed!!!
Worse than before
I donโt know what happened to this place, itโs a reduced menu with less things. The nigiri looks smaller than before and the curry dish is more salty than before. Didnโt enjoy and felt they were worse than before
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointing visit to an old favourite!
I have eaten at this resteraunt for many years and have always enjoyed the place very much . But this evening I was so disappointed. Let me explain , I ordered a fair amount of food , when my sashimi arrived there was no pickled ginger ,something I am very partial too ! I asked the waitress to bring me some ginger please . To my amazement she said I would have to pay extra . I could not believe it ! I asked to see the manager and he sided with the waitress !! Clearly the place has changed hands or something . By the way , I spent in excess of ยฃ 60 pounds on dinner just on myself . So a good spending customer you would think . I shall not return. Shame really . Very poor management and customer relations.
Be the first to ReplyStill very good ...
We first came here some years ago and it was very much aimed at the Japanese clientele with very little English explanation on the menu. I think now it is aimed more at English speaking customers and although the food is very good (salmon and tuna very fresh) I felt it was less authentic. The decor is basic but thatโs fine. I believe it changed ownership a while ago so maybe that is why itโs become a bit more mainstream. Would definitely return another time.
Be the first to ReplyPopular Japanese Restaurant
This is a very popular and long established place (it's been a couple of years since we were last here). There's a good selection of hot dishes, including soba and tempura, as well as good quality sushi. Prices are high, but broadly in line with other Japanese establishments in the area. We found the service to be friendly and competent, but there's not much of an ambience. It's basically about the food.
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding Japanese restaurant in West London
We come regularly to this Japanese restaurant.
Everything is outstanding from the tempura, the maki, the sashimi and the matcha ice for desert.
This place can not be faulted.
The fish could not be fresher.
Besides this the staff is very customer focused and always try their very best to provide the best service possible.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you
