By far one of my favorite dining experiences in the Fort
By far one of my favorite dining experiences in the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area. For starter you must get the tuna crispy rice and Wagyu Tacos. We usually do a family style tasting to get a taste of all the unbelievable flavor combinations. Some other favorites are Wagyu Beef served with a hot rock to cook at the table to your own desired doneness, shrimp tempura, and all the sushi rolls are amazing. If you want a modern take on a Japanese restaurant with amazing social experience, this is for you. And don't forget you can also hit the casino floor after for a little adult time fun!
Be the first to ReplyMade reservations to Kuro specifically for their Sunday
Made reservations to Kuro specifically for their Sunday Brunch after seeing reviews of it on YouTube and wanted to give it a try. Location - it is located in Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. It is about a 45 min drive (give or take 5-10 mins depending upon trafgic) from South Beach Miami area. Parking - you can valet or self park in the ramp. If you valet, you'll need to walk to the end of the hotel past high stakes to find the restaurant. If you self park, you'll take the elevator then escalator into the Casino and you'll be half of the way to the restaurant once inside. Reservations - you'll want to make reservations. You can do this online. Finding the exact site to book it was a journey - so here you go: https://www.sevenrooms.com/reservations/kurohollywood They do not pick up the phone here. So if you're like us and had follow up questions or requests, good luck getting in contact with someone directly at the restaurant. We tried calling a few times with the direct number that the hotel provided, we also made sure to call during their business hours as well. When we called it connected us to the main casino and hotel line where they had to put us on hold to then call through to the restaurant to ask the question for us. Price - $125/per person. Children 12 and under are $60ish per kid. We had two kids in our group (ages 2 and 4 and were charged the $60ish per kid) Food - decent quality seafood. Few others in the group enjoyed the caviar. Hot dishes were minimal but considering it was for brunch it did the job. Seafood was yummy, particularly the king crab and oysters. Drinks - plentiful and delish. They offer bottomless bubbly Champagne, Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Sangria. Service - seems like all servers work together collectively versus having specific tables to tend to. Most of the servers were attentive. Majority of the servers were kind. Ambiance - the place is nice and tables are spaced out accordingly. They have tables both inside and outside of the restaurant. All in all, a good spot to try for the experience and seafood. I'd say if you aren't a big seafood eater, it may be better to opt for a different brunch spot.
Be the first to ReplyReally good Sushi expensive but worth every dollar spent.
The wagyu tacos are too small but they are so tasty.
Be the first to ReplyI used to love this restaurant.
But now recommend you Do not eat here. Expensive. Low quality. Our food was so bad even the waitress tasted it and agreed. Lots of turnover in the kitchen and it showed. The manager was called but never showed. No surprise with a place run like this. Service is so awesome but the food is so bad. Save your $ and go somewhere else.

The best that I've been to in Miami. Every staff member was very attentive, our server Miguel was funny and on top of everything. Abbey at the front was an absolute doll. I could go on and on about everyone there. There were so many food stations, we were unable to get to all of them. My primary focus was the seafood. We were seated near the window overlooking the pool, which was absolutely gorgeous, the drinks never stoped coming, thank you Miguel! And as soon as we got up to get new plates, our table was cleaned and ready for us to return; again attention to detail was immaculate. The food was top-tier, everything tasted like it had been prepared in small batches, not like a buffet at all. The pasta station was phenomenal as well.

When it comes to hospitality, ambiance and excellence meals, Kuro is always a go-to. Prices can vary, steep to an extent but a great place as an occasional or special event dinner spot. Sushi is always fresh and meat cooked perfectly.

I've been to Kuro for Dinner but first time for brunch And never for lunch Our server was Tim And he was being HIM When we got to our table it was set up with toast and caviar So small, but cost bizarre But it was included in the all you can eat Other options include seafood, sushi, breakfast and meat The price was 125 a person and the deal is only available Sunday Unlimited mimosas and other alcohol for you to have a lit day I love how the king crab is cut for you to easily peel and eat And the lamb chops were my favorite meat They also had some smoothie shots and tasty dessert Eat slow, so you don't spill on your shirt I wish I was there now, what a flirt!

I used to love this place but from a food perspective this place has gone so downhill. Even the servers acknowledge this. The delicious short rib of yesteryear is mediocre even if it is a large piece of meat. No reason to come again. Went from a. 5 to a generous 3.

As other restaurants in the Hard Rock are, very pricey but everything was good. We had the Wagyu Tacos, Chilean Seabass & Beef Short Ribs. Even tho the short ribs were good I've had just as good or better for 1/2 the price, but I understand this is an upscale restaurant & they do pack them in. Drinks were great & service was amazing.
Be the first to ReplyNice upscale Asian restaurant'.
We sat at the bar and waited on our party who were flying in from out of town. The bar staff did not acknowledge or wait on us but took care of a small group that came to the bar after we did. The other couple arrived a few minutes later so we opted to get seated and skip the bar. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all delicious! Our server was attentive at first then we lost her. We understand a crowded restaurant but to sit at a table, thirsty, with empty drink glasses is not acceptable especially after spending over $600. We would have ordered more food but decided to leave and get drinks at Cipresso.

We came here Saturday night before a show for my special friend's significant birthday. The food was outstanding and the decor amazing. My only complaint is the difficulty I had in confirming that I wanted something special for her birthday. I made a note when I made the reservation. I wanted to call the restaurant to confirm, but the hotel does not allow customers to call directly. Rather I had to deal with the hotel's switchboard who said that they would relay the message. I reminded the hostess about my friend's birthday which I hoped would be a surprise only to have our server ask at the end of the meal if we wanted dessert--that was supposed to be the surprise. Otherwise, it was a delightful experience

King crab, prime rib, beef Wellington, lamb chops, caviar, omelet bar, dessert bar. I will have to make another trip so I can try all the other things I was too full to try. Bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's which me and my wife took full advantage of lol. Great service even tho it's a buffet and a beautiful restaurant. A must try for any hungry brunchers out there.

Delicious food but small portions with a high price. I recommend getting a reservation, always busy.

Food is always spectacular. Pricey, but worth it. Staff is always nice. Try to make reservations sheet of time.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful experience as usual.
We always get the same waitress and she always remembers by husbands drink order .. which of course he loves. Lol
Be the first to ReplyIf you're coming here with the idea of getting completely
If you're coming here with the idea of getting completely and entirely engorged with food- you are at the wrong place. The food is TINY- the server will tell you that the food is "meant to be shared" but the portions are laughable; the wagyu tacos were so freaking small, it almost looked like play food, and the whole thing could be eaten in one bite, no exaggeration. With that being said, it really is about quality vs quantity- the food was delicious and the ingredients were fresh, the dishes were carefully crafted, but that can all be achieved and still have bigger portion sizes.

Excellent quality food, service is incredible, beautiful place to dine. Absolutely a fine dining experience
Be the first to ReplyI love this place.
Food is excellent, pricey and small plates but the food is to die for. Drinks are great, crazy fusions but work and taste good. Staff are on point. Shame the Seminole is not the same as before. I found it fun b4 the guitar went up.

Good Vibes and amazing food!First time back since the remodel. Looks like they changed up their menu a lot. Not big on sushi so stuck with the other options. Food:1) The wagyu lollipops are a must have! 10/10. They melt in your mouth and come out like lollipops in salt. 2) Chicken AMADARE is also a must have. 10/10. One the juiciest and tastiest chicken dishes I've had. It's a unique experience. Other: tried the wagyu tacos. Wasn't impressed but was something different and wasn't bad. Drinks: Moscow Mule was on point. Highly recommend if you like them. Service: was great as well. It helped that we were sat right next to one of their POS systems. Will be back!
Be the first to ReplyThis was my second time at Kuro at Hard Rock and I
This was my second time at Kuro at Hard Rock and I absolutely love everything about this restaurant. The drinks and food are amazing. Hamachi is the best I've ever had and the sushi rolls are incredibly fresh. This time I tried the Greek goddess salad and it was so good. It has an excellent mixture of cabbage, tomato, and crispy noodles with this amazing creamy dressing, A must have! The wait staff is top notch and is great at giving suggestions for what to order. The menu items are meant to be shared. Portions are on the smaller side so if gives you the chance to try a bunch of different things. The restaurant has a lounge feel which I always love and great music is piped through the restaurant. So check it out the next time you head over to Hard Rock but I would suggest a reservation.

Excellent !!We showed up on a Thursday night with our reservation, group of 8. The hostess went above and beyond to find us a table , and after a short wait we were seated. Service and food was great, and everyone really enjoyed dinner. Dishes are little small , but worth it !
