Best dining of 2024 — THE FLAVORS….
This place is fantastic! It’s definitely my best dining experience of 2024. We did not sit in the cave. We sat overlooking the beautifully landscaped outdoor area. I loved it. Would have been better with the sliding doors open. The ambiance was great AND the food was AMAZING! Oh my goodness. The flavors. Everything was perfect. I loved the small plates. We got to experience so much of the wonderment. The stand outs: bacon wrapped figs stuffed with cheese, truffle grits with mushrooms. Wow. What flavor. I also enjoyed a purple haze cocktail. It was so smooth. They light it up before serving. Nice flair. I love the egg white in it. It’s so tasty. The hotel is beautiful. This restaurant is great!
Be the first to ReplyOne of my Las Vegas favorites!
I took some friends from Australia to dinner at La Cave. I have been several times and highly recommend it. Great service, great food options, all delicious. Good wine list though a bit pricey. Will definitely visit again!
Be the first to ReplyAlways 10/10! Been coming here for years!
We have been to LaCave many times throughout our years staying at Wynn. I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this sooner. We love the ambiance in here, and the service is always wonderful. However, the tables are small when ordering multiple small plates. It can get crowded, but they are good about grabbing empty plates. We normally get the chicken Thai basil flatbread, and the kale apple salad with goat cheese is so fresh and delicious! We’ve tried the chicken skewers, tacos, sliders,Brussels, and much more over the years. You cannot go wrong with anything here! Dessert? Get the beignets!!! I tried the new Tuscan Pear cocktail and it was incredible! The husband always gets the wine fizzy flight. I can’t wait to see y’all in November!!!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent tapas style dinner
We loved the menu. It's tapas style with smaller plates and we shared 6 dishes between three people. All the dishes were fantastic. The wine selection was also incredible. The only small downside was the seating. I was on a large low chair opposite my wife and daughter who were on a sofa at a different vertical height. I would ask for a standard table and chairs.

brunch at 1115 am. seated at a table by the window - would be nice except it wasn’t … it was bright and hot and sunny at our table x whatever, we can deal. The food is good - and it keeps coming so much that you have to wave it away. A lot of filling bread-y dishes, so choose wisely. Bottomless drinks were free flowing- didn’t have to ask twice - that was good. the restaurant is pretty and enjoyable- waitstaff attentive. The loaded tater tots: yum, grits with truffle oil our fave, had to ask twice for the fresh fruit. Enjoy it !

The place is nice and comfortable, the food and drinks are delicious, the place is clean and the beach view is very beautiful
Be the first to ReplyHopefully the service will get better and better quality so that it can become top of mind as a place of choice.
This place is suitable for enjoying the sunset and having dinner. Relax and chat with your family. If you have plans to get married. You can choose La Cave as the place.
Be the first to ReplyPull Up For the Brunch!
This is a nice restaurant tucked away in the Wynn hotel property, so make sure you enter at their entrance. Make a reservation. Walkup wait times got pretty long from what we overheard when we arrived. We came for brunch after it being recommended by a few of our friends while they were in Vegas. It was great. It is one price for all-inclusive food, and one additional charge for all-inclusive beverage service. They serve the entire brunch menu while walking around, and you just accept or decline the dish, like you would at a Brazilian steakhouse. You get 90 minutes to dine, so be on time.Everything was so good, especially the short rib, blueberry cream pancakes, loaded tater tots, and the NY egg & cheese sandwich. It's pricey, but it's worth the money, as you're guaranteed to leave full. Our servers were excellent and kept our glasses full. Do yourself a favor and come here.
Be the first to ReplyDenny’s at The Wynn 🤮
Mediocre food and terrible management-- half of the food was flavorless and cold. Certainly not the same caliber as the other (good) restaurants at the Wynn. Not on brand for this hotel. Furthermore, the restaurant was happily continuing to serve two obviously-intoxicated women at the table next to us who were playing loud music on their phones at their tables. We asked the ladies to stop, and so they proceeded to start taking and posting pictures of us. This isn't a Dennys, so why was the management allowing this? We asked the manager to do something, but she said that we could either switch tables and leave. So, we left, knowing that Wynn is not the luxurious experience that was promised. Terrible food, incompetent manager, absolutely unacceptable resolution.

If you’re looking for an eating experience that is elevated yet casual, this is the spot. The extensive menu feels never ending and the family-serving style leaves you with many happy bites that delight. The staff is extremely attentive and the seating is delightfully comfortable. The food is well executed. The highlights were the Cornflake French Toast, Heirloom Caprese Salad, the Sliders, and Truffle Mushroom Grits. Honestly, every bite was happiness! I would recommend splitting many of the dishes because they are filling. The bottomless drink menu is a fabulous choice if you plan on having more than one. We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyLovely restaurant in the Wynn
I booked here as I was going to the new show at the Encore and needed to eat before going in. A week before I arrived I had a text telling me they had a function going on so only a small part of the restaurant was available. This was fine as it was too cold in my view to eat on the patio. I arrived and was seated on time. As I was going to a show I declined an alcohol drink sticking instead to iced water. For food I had the dates with bacon and blue cheese sauce as well as the short rib beef tacos. Both were very filling and more than enough for me. The service was good despite the function going on in the next room and I did not feel rushed. I love this restaurant and visit whenever it is open and I am in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyWe Loved It!
We've been to Vegas many many times and we've eaten at a lot of places but this was our first experience with Tapas - small plates. People don't complain about the portions, the whole concept is small plates and you should know that going in. We loved everything we ordered. Like a lot of people we loved the crab lettuce cups and next time we'll both get our own so we don't have to share. The crab ravioli was good but not anything would we would get again. I got the beef filet crostini and it was unbelievably tender and a good portion size. My husband got the sea bass and again it was a good portion size. Our dessert was amazing! We got the beignets with the three different sauces and next time we'll got out own of this too! They were so good. They seemed to take a while but they came to the table nice and warm. Order a little earlier. The only suggestion I would make is for hostesses to not seat big men or elderly in the tiny little wooden chairs. I realize you need to spread people out to be fair to servers but really think about it, my husband is a big guy and we had a tiny two top in little wooden chairs, We will be back! But we will request different seating. Thanks in advance for your helpful vote if you found any part of my review helpful.
Be the first to ReplyGreat tapa bar
This place was very nice i would probably not like sitting inside a little dark and loud but we got out on patio it was great
Be the first to ReplyWaste of Time and Money
First of all it was freezing in there. The portions were much too small, and overpriced. Service was good, but that was it.
Be the first to ReplyIt was so DARK INSIDE YOU COULDNT SEE WHAT YOU are eating
I hope the owners/managers actually read these reviews and don't just give your normal we were sad with your experience crap. Listen to your clients as I see how many bad reviews below are not even addressed with respect. Your restaurant is pitch black. I mean, I couldn't tell what I was eating for dinner. Shame on management. There is a difference between an intimate setting versus saving on hydro. I am not exaggerating. It ruined our experience. Food was ok at best. Way too expensive. We have eaten all over Vegas and I would avoid this restaurant. Our waiter was nice and served us quick since I was in a poker tournament and was short on time. Scallops not good. Sea Bass OK, cooked perfect but no seasoning bland. Flatbread nothing special. Add in a couple drinks and $200 for what really ? We were also given a horrible table basically right beside the servers station. Wish I could get my money back.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a great find!
Our flight home was cancelled, so we checked into Encore for an extra night. We were tired after being at the airport and on the tarmac for 6 hours, so we wanted something easy and close to the hotel. La Cave seemed like the perfect spot so I booked it. And I'm glad I did. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend the short rib tacos, the arugula salad, and the meatballs. The chicken pizza was good, too, but we were full after sharing the first three things.
Be the first to ReplyYour going for the vibes
The best thing about the restaurant is the overall vibe you feeling just being there. The inside rooms are dark and mysterious the back “solarium” is a breeze airy chill. Both together make it. The food is tapas style. Nothing special but a fine accompaniment for the experience
Be the first to ReplyRUDEST SERVICE I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED
I made a reservation at this supposedly amazing restaurant 2 months ahead of time for myself and a table full of clients. 2 MONTHS!! Less than 1 week before the date of my reservation I received an email stating my reservation had been cancelled. I called the restaurant immediately to figure out what happened and was informed that the restaurant had been over booked and as a result there would be a wait for our, 2 month in advance RESERVED, table and no estimate of how long the wait would be. The employee proceeded to overly enthusiastically suggest I cancel my reservation. The solution to you overbooking your restaurant is to try and BULLY your customers that went out of their way to make sure they made reservations FAR IN ADVANCE into cancellation by threatening them with a LONG WAIT TIME!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!????
Be the first to ReplyNo Integrity, Your Reservation will Be Honored If A Higher Paying Event is Available
I have been to La Cave almost every time in Las Vegas and truly enjoyed the experience. This time, however, I made a reservation for 4 people for Sat April 30, 2022 on March 5, 2022 which was confirmed. I received a text from the restaurant on April 11, 2022 stating that a private event had been booked and that we would be accommodated on a high top in their cellar but the reservation was still confirmed. I received a phone call from the restaurant on April 26, 2022 that my reservation could no longer be honored due to the previously mentioned private event now taking over the entire venue. Clearly individual customers do not matter at this establishment and if a higher paying opportunity like the private event mentioned here, then the other customer reservations will be cancelled. Unfortunately for us with only 4 days notice for the Saturday night of the 2022 NFL Draft we are not able to find a fine dining restaurant for our celebration dinner. Truly disappointed with the lack of integrity demonstrated here.....even on the April 11, 2022 text timing we would have had 2 weeks to make other arrangements, but were told it was confirmed NOT cancelled. Be aware, your reservations are never confirmed at La Cave.

Worst dining experience we’ve ever had in Vegas. Other tables voiced frustrations as well, one guy yelling. Butlers passed around food but not consistent with who got food and when and the eggs were incredibly runny. Horrible experience. Disappointing for our last day.

I am a frequent visitor to Las Vegas and have been to the Wynn many times and until this trip I can't recall seeing or hearing about this place. I only stopped by for a drink but it's a very intimate and much quieter atmosphere than most of the other restaurants in the hotel. Would definitely go here for a date night or again just for a few drinks. I didn't eat but looking at the menu and prices it seems like the portions could be on the small side but with what usually goes on in Vegas that might not be a bad thing.
Be the first to ReplySmall plate, great taste
The selection of small plates available at La Cave was just what we wanted for our early evening meal. Three plates shared by my wife and I was perfect. We had scallops (perfectly prepared and very tasty), Chilean Sea Bass (a decent portion that was also very well prepared) and a flat iron steak, which included a good portion of smashed potatoes. Although it was not an inexpensive dinner, the service was prompt and professional and the meal was very good.
Be the first to ReplyNope. Definitely don't bring your children.
Don't bring your children unless they've had their 6th grade anatomy lesson. Even then be prepared for an awkward meal. I realize that this is more of a casual restaurant in the hotel, but is clothing required for the waitstaff?? Perhaps something larger than a handkerchief is appropriate given that it is not a strip club. I'm a lady, and i prefer not to have boobs in my face while I'm shelling out exorbitant amounts of money for terrible food. I realize some of you might find this a free perk, no pun intended, but I really wanted to just walk out, and based on the quality of the food I should have.
We ordered the bacon wrapped dates (mushy), crab ravioli (undercooked) and octopus (not sure how to describe). My beer was the only enjoyable part of the meal, Sierra Nevada IPA.
Take this review for what you will. Some people will not be bothered by scantily clad waitstaff, after all it is Vegas. But it would be nice to have at least one meal where I didn't get an eyeful, especially from someone serving my food. It's important to set expectations, and had I known that this was that type of place I would have passed.
Great food, uncontrolled noise levels
I have visited La Cave in the past and it has always been one of my favourite places to eat in Las Vegas as I am a fan of ‘small plates’. It used to be smaller but has expanded, and it used to be quite a quiet restaurant as it is not adjacent to the casino at the Wynn but is past the buffet. So I booked a table for one - in the past I have been solo at eaten at the bar but I am maintaining social distancing now.
I turned up at the time I booked and was shown to a table. The first thing that hit me was the noise levels. The person who showed me to my table explained that the louder the volume of conversation got, then louder the music was turned up, which seems really counter intuitive to me! I am glad I was dining solo as I would not have been able to have a conversation with a companion. It was actually unpleasantly loud.
I ordered a glass of the Australian house Rose wine and two small plates, thinking I might have more after. The food as always was excellent. I had the beef carpaccio which comes wrapped around truffled mushrooms, and the dates wrapped in bacon with a blue cheese sauce. Both were good, very fresh, very tasty and well prepared. However my head was hurting because of the noise by the time I finished these two dishes so I paid the bill and left. I am sad that the restaurant has changed so much and really think the managers could just consider turning the music off, rather than up, when conversation levels are high. I actually felt unwell, the noise was so loud
So very overpriced…
I took previous reviews with a grain of salt and still booked a table for a Thursday night. The restaurant setting was very chic and cool, but the easy chairs and couch that surrounded our table were so uncomfortable. Our waiter was fine, a little inattentive, but honestly was fine. The food was all average, nothing stood out, but nothing was terrible either. We did a couple flatbreads and 4 or 5 other small plates. I’ve had both better and worse versions of everything we tried. The portions were bigger than I gathered from previous reviews, but the prices were out of the realm of fair. I understand fine dining and Strip pricing, but this place’s pricing was simply crazy for the delivered product. Alcohol and wine pricing was the worst.
