Incredible First time in Paris and staying right near La Dame De Pic and made lunch reservations for 2 with my brother. Very accommodating staff as well considering a bag was missing and my nicer shoes and blazer were in it but they didn't mind Very eloquent and relaxing spot, staff was incredible and service top notch Food was outstanding I saw some of the poor reviews on here, the cuisine is not your typical try hard Michelin "foie gras caviar wagyu lobster Uni" menu where you can get the same at many spots Loved the originality and new flavors, lots of focus on spices and seasonings that I personally enjoyed a lot I highly recommend and very reasonable price at 120 euros for 3 courses and dessert

Wow- I'm sorry to say we didn't not have the best experience at this restaurant. The service is impeccable and everything else about it was amazing- except for the food! Unfortunately the current menu makes use of very strong aromatics and just plain weird pairings of flavors that don't work together- eg the squid tagliatelle with Coffee and cinnamon! Not even the bread basket gave relief- there were strong flavors of something like fennel inside. Just too much. What a shame...

Enjoy my birthday dinner with no complaints!
Be the first to ReplyMy wife became an instant fan of Anne-Sophie Pic.
Her restaurant is so beautiful. The Baccarat water glass was amazing. Another restaurant worth giving another Michelin star. Every dish that came out from her tasting menu was exquisitely sublime and delicious. Service was top notch. Very attentive staff. Warm and friendly. This is a place worth returning to in the future. Worth every Euro!!!

We're on our journey of trying chef's around the world that were featured on Chef's table on Netflix. We happen to be in Paris on vacation and decided to give this spot a try to experience Chef Anne-Sophie Pic cooking. To my surprised, this was a miss for us. My favorite plate was probably her signature dish. It was some type of stuffed ravioli that packed the most complex flavors. All of her other dishes on the fixed menu did not wow me. Service was excellent but I would say pass and try out a different French restaurant.

Wonderful first meal in Paris. Love the ambiance and open kitchen. Stared with a lovely rose and followed the sommelier recommendations for wine by the glass. I really enjoyed the crab and asparagus starters. The mango and chocolate dessert was decadent. Overall a perfect experience to begin our trip.

I love great food and Michelin rates spots. I didn't have a bad meal in France (except this one). Ultimately while everything was gorgeously played, the flavors were horribly off. Every thing tasted under cooked. The amuse bouche tasted like black tea with cooked carrots in it. The monk fish was dry and unevenly cooked. The staff wasn't attentive. I went to so many fantastic restaurants this week for a quarter of the price. I wish I could get my date his money back! The wall art was nice.
Be the first to ReplyOur first dinner in Paris was at La Dame de Pic.
Suggested as a more modern take on French cuisine, it was also one of the few on the list that was open in late August. Getting a reservation was straightforward enough on the website. The entrance leads you to a dining room coated in white, from the bricks to the paintings (the one close to us appeared to be a piece of art done in white leather), giving the dining area a warm, bright ambiance. Service overall was pretty solid, from our Italian waitress who spoke solid English (and perfect French - I thought she was from France) to the various folks who brought out our dishes and could describe them. The menu is pretty straightforward - the menu is prix fixe, but you choose which starters and entrees/mains you want. With five courses total (and a couple amuse bouches to start), it's a manageable meal where you won't come out feeling stuffed. Although I enjoyed my oyster (a relatively large one - oysters are bigger in France than the U.S.) served in a very light cucumber broth, my wife's tomatoes were exquisite, served in a cold tomato broth with chunks of lightly whipped burrata. We had many tomatoes (and tomato dishes) during our time in Europe this summer, but these were definitely the best version that we had. Our next course was the ravioli (one of the restaurant's more notable bites, if I recall our waitress' comment correctly). It was served inside a few leaves of arugula and had a very creamy cheese to it - objectively very good as well, if not quite at the same level of the ravioli we had enjoyed in Italy. I really enjoyed my seafood course, which was very lightly seared mackerel, served with a risotto that was lightly creamy but not overwhelmingly so and topped with a hint of tea-infused salt. The cooking of the fish in particular was excellent, as it melted right in with the risotto. My last main was the farm lamb, which was a very colorful plating of lamb with blobs of tarragon gravy (very herbal and a great combination with the jus of the lamb) and lightly charred small onions giving the dish a nice balance between the succulent meat (which was cooked to a perfect medium-rare) and the rest of the ingredients. I finished off my meal with the strawberries and strawberry sorbet; it was definitely in-season, and the fruit was more sweet than tart and paired excellently with the sorbet (which had a little more tartness) and the light shortbreads crisps.La Dame de Pic is a 4.5-star experience in my book, but I will round up because I really enjoyed the modern ambiance and the food here is prepared thoughtfully and executed very well, without any false notes or extraneous additions into each plate. It may not be as famous as some of the other spots in town, but its Michelin star is well-deserved, and I would be excited to come back and see the creativity of the menu in a different season.

food: 2-3 star.I was not impressed at all with the food. I get it that the chef tried to be creative and came up with different combinations, but they did not go well together.

After a long trip, a local friend recommended this restaurant to us to end our Europe trip. Am I glad he did! I've visited Michelin starred restaurant before in LA, and have always though it to be a gimmick. A visit to Le Damn De Pic showed me what a real Michelin restaurant suppose to be. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the maître d'. We were seated at a corner table with a view to the open kitchen, what a treat! We ordered the plaisir menu with 2 starter and a main. The crab starter is a palette shaker! The freshness of the crab meat contrasts sharply with the citrus jelly. Then comes the berlingots ravioli.. It's a little on the heavy side, but each bite was just the right amount to make you not feel over stuffed. The rest of the meal was fantastic and we left feeling satisfied. One of our most enjoyable dining experience!

After intending to go to Le Dame de Pic for 2 years, I finally made it and I was not disappointed. Beautiful ambiance, professional and knowledgeable staff and delicious food is not hard to come by in Paris. What is hard to come by and what Le Dame de Pic excelled at was bringing out the flavors of each component of each dish. The flavor combinations were exquisitely subtle and bold as needed and nothing was heavily sauced. What a treat! Plus, the staff was not stuffy in any way, including the sommelier, who was so funny and personable. This was one of the more relaxed, beautiful, flavorful and filling (without being overstuffed) meals I've ever had in Paris. I'll definitely go back on my next visit to Paris.

This time I was on the hunt for a lemon tarte. We ended up getting 3 different cakes. As well as bread and croissant. And some chocolate bars. My oh my. Everything is so delicious. Can't wait to go back. Reasonably priced too.

Recommended by my friend.Great ambience and attentive service. Clean and modern decor. They made the men's restroom very convenient on the same same dinner floor. Women is down stairs. There were three menus. Autumn. Floral. Aromatic. We chose floral and aromaticThe meal comes with two starters off the menu. Peanut marshmallows and beet mousse.I ordered floral.Oyster dish was great flavor and a cheese mousse. Kinda salty for me. But it that umami salt that want you to have moreFish with a red and orange sauce. I assume beets. Very moist fish and acidic floral sauce. The fish had one scale that I bit into. So be carefulChicken with potatoes and shellfish.love it!! The shellfish provided a umami flavor to the chicken interesting technique. Chinese herbal soups do that with albalone. 3 cheese with marmalade and whisky jelly the marmalade compliments the sharper cheese. The whisky helps cut the pungent cheese. The third cheese tastes like a Brie.My dessert ended with a fig saffron dish.My partner had the aromatic.A cheese green dumpling that hard to describe. Very exotic. Like a spinach ravioli kicked up many timesA meaty white fish with celery sauce. And finally lamb a jus.His dessert was a chocolate raspberry dish.Pictures will do them justice. I will have a menu picture too
Be the first to ReplyWe chose to sample the smaller tasting menu during dinner.
The first thing that the server does after we order was to bring out a box of scents. They served as the inspiration for our meal. I found myself a little baffled as what to do with these (weak) scents, found it all kind of nonsense and a little gimmicky. The meal composed of asparagus and mackerel as appetizers and a duck for the main dish. It was all well prepared but nothing outstanding or innovative. For desert we had chocolate mousse with sake foam, this was quite good. It seemed to me to be a very bureaucratic meal, got in got out.
